1.India and America can work together to solve many problems: Barack Obama :-

Former US President Barack Obama has said that working together in India and the United States can solve many problems.

In New Delhi on Friday, Obama said at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit that India played an important role during the Paris Convention on Climate Change. This work was politically difficult, but it was right to do so. He said that all countries have to work to reduce carbon emissions.

 

2.Gadkari gets support for Clean Ganga Mission :-

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that Indian-origin businessmen in Britain have committed a commitment to support projects worth Rs 500 crore related to Clean Ganges Campaign.

The Minister of Ganga, river development, water resources, highways, shipping and transport said that four major British industrialists have taken responsibility for improving river banks in the cities of Patna, Kanpur, Haridwar and Kolkata and construction of ghats.

Born in Patna, Vedanta Group chief Anil Agarwal has pledged his support for the revival of river banks in the city, the capital city of the shipping sector, Ravi Mehrotra has taken charge of these projects in Kanpur; Hinduja Group will develop the Ghats in Haridwar and Chief of Indorema Group, Mr. Prakash Lohia will take responsibility for the revival of Ganga Sea of Kolkata.

Gadkari said at the conclusion of a three-day UK visit, “We have been promised more than 500 crores of cooperation in these projects and I appeal to all the NRIs to take part in the NAMAMI GANGA campaign.

” Businessmen will take these projects as their corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda and working with the Government of India to finalize the plans for every city.

 

3.Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said that India is not only a rising economy but a major role in the world too :-

Addressing the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said that his country not only sees India as an emerging economy but also sees it as a country which has a major role in the world.

He said that both countries have a firm faith in the democratic system that reflects the people’s desire for human rights and respect. Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said that both India and Afghanistan believe in peace and prosperity.

 

4.Can not develop without peace: Vice President :-

Vice President M. Venkyayyanadu has said that there can not be any development without peace. While addressing the 52nd Foundation Day of the Border Security Force in New Delhi on Friday, he said that the whole country should be united against terrorism.

The terrorist has no religion, there is no caste. The enemy of humanity is terrorism. It should be understood by all the people as soon as the world understands it and awareness in the whole world is a must, and it is very important for all the United Nations to take stern steps.

On the attacks being carried out by Pakistan, Shri Naidu said that promoting terrorism is a policy of neighboring nation and it is linking terrorism with religion.

He said that India wants to have good relations with its neighboring country but it is constantly promoting terrorism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the forces and their families on the establishment day of the Border Security Force-BSF.

 

5.The Union Cabinet has approved the setting up of National Malnutrition Mission :-

Union Cabinet on Friday approved the setting up of National Nutrition Mission-NNM. Its three-year budget has been kept out of more than Rs 946 crore, which will start from 2017-18. As a top organization, this mission will monitor the activities of nutrition across the country, will be inspected, targets will be set and directions will be provided.

Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi said that the government is committed to ensure that every child, pregnant mother and feeding mother should get adequate nutritious diet so that the malnutrition and development of children can be stopped.

NNM will work to reduce the level of weight loss of children, obstruction of nutrition, nutritional deficiency, anemia and children at birth.

This mission will also encourage States and Union Territories to achieve the desired goals.

On this occasion, Health Minister, JP Nadda said that the government is committed to the struggle against malnutrition and NNM is the biggest step in this direction.

 

6.Seismic storm rises in Southeast Arabian Sea :-

Hurricane Okhi in the southeastern Arabian Sea took a serious turn and Friday it moved towards the Arabian Sea.

The navy has rescued eight fishermen stranded in unmanned waves and the search for 30 missing fishermen has been intensified.

7.Supreme Court directs Center and State Government to set up Trauma Center in all districts :-

The Supreme Court has issued instructions to all states and Union Territories regarding road safety and asked to set up a trauma center in all the districts of the country.

The court also asked security rules to be part of the school curriculum.

A bench headed by Justice MB Lokur said that the states which Ahave not yet prepared the road safety policy till now, should prepare it till the end of January.

The bench has asked the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to ensure strict adherence to the Motor Vehicle Driver Regulation 2017 implemented on June 23 this year. Coimbatore surgeon S. While hearing Rajashekaran’s petition, the court issued these instructions.

 

8.Bombay stock market trend fall :-

In the afternoon trade of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sensex dropped 105 points to 33 thousand 43.

The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also dropped 34 points to 10 thousand 191.

 

9.Railway Reservation Centers will be able to avail the ticket through Bhim App from 1st December :-

Payment of tickets through Bhima App is being facilitated in more than 3,000 railway reservation centers from December 1, across the country.

The Central Government has taken this step while promoting Digital India. Apart from this, many other facilities are also being provided through Bhim Apes. During filling petrol and diesel, there are other facilities including booking the kitchen gas.

 

10.Bombay Stock Exchange :-

The BSE Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange fell by nearly 300 points in the afternoon trade and was shortly thereafter 33 thousand 319.

It was open at 33 thousand 417 with a fall of 185 points in the morning.

The Nifty also dropped 87 points to 10 thousand 274. In the foreign exchange market, the rupee fell 13 paise against the dollar. A dollar 64 rupee was spoken 44 paise.
