1.Indian topper in foreign currency earning abroad:-

Indians are the world’s top earners in their country. In the year 2017, 12 percent of the remittance (coming from abroad working abroad) of the country came in $ 69 billion. This is half the percentage more than last year. According to a report by Kotak Mahindra Bank, about 59 percent of the remittances coming to India came in four states, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. According to the report, most people go to the Gulf countries for the job. Among them, the number of people going to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait was the highest.

According to the report, the increase in remittances globally is only five percent in the year 2017. Usually, during the year 2011-17, the amount of remittances in India is between 62 to 70 billion dollars. A large part of global remittance always goes to the account of developing countries.

According to the data of RBI in the report, it has been reported that in the four states which have the highest foreign income in India, 19 percent of Kerala, 17 in Maharashtra, 15 in Karnataka and 8 percent in Tamil Nadu came in. In the total remittances in South India, 46 percent of the total revenues in India.

4.Two patrol ships made with indigenous technology will be handed over to the army in 2019:-

Two Fast Patrol Vessel (Patrol Ship) built from indigenous technology for the Indian Coast Guard on behalf of Shrimad Gardiner, Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), was launched on Thursday in the country’s premier shipyard. In a ceremony held at the GR shipyard of GRSE, Kolkata, a ship called ‘ICGS Amrit Kaur’ and ‘ICGS Kamala Devi’ was launched by wife of Lt Gen MM Narwane, Chief of Eastern Army Command, Veena Narwane. Lieutenant General MM Narveen was also present as the chief guest. In the function, Naval, Coast Guard and other senior officials of GRSE, including the Chairman and Managing Director of GRSE, Rear Admiral VK Saxena, Commander Rajan Baghotra, North-East Area of ​​Coast Guard were present. GRSE CMD VK Saxena said that GRSE is the third and fourth ship of five fast petrol vaasel (FPV) series built for Coast Guard. The state-of-the-art advanced technology has been used in its construction. Equipped with advanced sensors and state-of-the-art equipment manufactured by integrated manufacturing technology, this ship will be very helpful in the rescue of the ocean in the relief and rescue and smuggling and anti-terrorist operations. The ships are also equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and marine communication and navigation equipment. He told that fittings of some important equipments, its balance in the sea and after testing will be handed over to the Coast Guard by the middle of next year.

308 tonne, this patrol vessel is 50 meters long and a seven-meter wide patrol vessel can range up to 1500 nautical miles at a speed of 34 knots per hour. Equipped with 40/60 state-of-the-art guns, the most important feature of this vessel is that it is capable of working completely on low aquatic boundaries. There are many other features in this vessel, including fully air-conditioned and together with better housing facilities for 35 workers.

5.President Trump gave thanks to Saudi Arabia for crude oil prices:-

7.Taliban not giving signs of seriousness for peace agreement – Abdullah Abdullah:-

Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah says that despite the US efforts to restore peace, the Taliban have not given any signs of ending the 17-year-long terror. Mr. Abdullah has expressed doubts about the possibility of the agreement. He said, “I can say from my experience that the Taliban has not expressed any intention of being seriously involved in peace.” He said that the international community, and especially the US, have recently made fresh efforts for the agreement. On returning to Kabul after finishing his three-day trip to France, Mr. Abdullah said he would get information about the conversation between the Taliban and the US Ambassador in Qatar last week. He said that the presidential elections scheduled for April next year in Afghanistan should be held on time. Also peace efforts should be continued. Mr. Abdullah’s statement came recently after a bomb attack on a banquet hall in Kabul. During the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, 55 people died in that attack.

8.India, United Nations Environment Award, to deal with environmental crimes related to cross border:-

United Nations Environment has awarded the Bureau Asia Environment Enhancement Award, 2018 for the outstanding work done by the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in dealing with environmental crimes from cross border.

Congratulating the Bureau, the Union Environment Minister said that the Asia Environmental Promotion Award recognizes the excellent work done by the team of government officials and bureaus who are engaged in dealing with environment related crimes related to border crossings.

This award is given to the outstanding individuals and / or government organizations / teams, which introduces excellence and leadership in implementing national laws to deal with environmental crimes from across the border in one of the following areas: cooperation; effect; Innovation; Integrity and gender leadership.

WCCB has been awarded this award in the Navnemesh category. The Bureau adopted a new enforcement technique, in which there is pressure in respect of environmental crimes from across the border in India. The Bureau developed an online wildlife crime database management system so that effective measures can be taken to prevent and detect wildlife crimes in India and to get data to analyze the trend of crime.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the city gas distribution project in 129 districts of the country from New Delhi. This will facilitate convenient, environmentally friendly and affordable natural gas for nearly half the population of twenty six states and Union Territories of the country. During this period, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the 10th City Gas Bidding Round in 124 districts of the states. The objective of the city gas distribution project is to provide convenient, environmentally friendly and affordable natural gas to the citizens of the country. Non-natural gas supply will be ensured through city gas distribution CGD and commerce will also benefit from this. CGD facilities have been provided in 96 cities of the country till September this year. 46 million five thousand houses and 32 lakh CNG vehicles are getting clean fuel from CGD.
