1.India’s exports recorded record maximum growth in 2017-18: Suresh Prabhu  :-

In spite of increasing global protectionism, there is still a significant increase in exports coming from India and it is expected to touch the figure of 350 billion US dollars in the current financial year. This was stated by Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Shri Suresh Prabhu in New Delhi today. The Minister was addressing the Second Service Excellence Award and Summit- 2018 organized by Assocham.

The Minister said that the service sector is set to give significant economic momentum to the Indian economy and this will contribute up to $ 3 trillion ($ 50 million) to $ 5 trillion by the year 2025. For the purpose of promoting the service sector, the Ministry of Commerce has identified 12 major (champion) service areas for which the cabinet has approved a dedicated fund worth Rs. 5000 crores, so that the necessary initiatives for quick movement of area Can be supported.

 

2.Red Fort will be closed for the common people till August 8, 2018 to August 15, 2018, until the Independence Day program is over :-

According to an order issued by the Indian Archaeological Survey, the general public and visitors will not enter the red fort until the Independence Day celebrations end on August 8, 2018 to August 15, 2018.

 

3.Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the meeting of India Ugandan Trade Forum in Kampala, saying that investment in India is easy for everyone :-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India’s governance system is guided by policies and there is stability in taxes in the country and taxation can be predicted. While addressing the meeting of India-Uganda Business Forum in Kampala on Wednesday, Shri Modi said that investing in India is a lot easier. He said that the favorable conditions of business should be fully utilized between the two countries.

In the meeting, Ugandan President Yovari Musavei called upon the business community of both the countries to come forward to take advantage of trade and investment opportunities.

While addressing the Parliament of Uganda, the Prime Minister said that India has been associated with maritime trade since ancient times. Both countries have fought long for independence. He said that there are widespread possibilities for strengthening the relations between people of both countries.

At a function organized by the people of Indian community in Kampala Shri Modi and Ugandan President Yovari Musavei unveiled the statue of India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

 

4.Nepal: India will close the Embassy camp office in Biratnagar from August 1 :-

India will close one of its embassy camp camp in August in Biratnagar, Nepal.

5.Indian Air Force will participate in multinational air exercises in Australia :-

A team of IAF, which includes four Su-30MKI, one X-130 and one X-17 aircraft, landed on Australia’s Darwin Air Force Base on Tuesday. This is the first time in which the IAF is participating in the multinational air exercise in Australia with the Royal Australian Air Force.

More than 100 planes from all over the world will participate in this program and provide a unique opportunity for air warriors to operate in a war-like situation.

Under the Gagan Shakti Practice 2018, the Indian Air Force practiced with the Air Force of Indonesia and Malaysia. Now Indian Air Force is participating in the Pitch Black-18 exercise for the first time with Australia’s Air Force. It reflects the capability of the IAF.

 

6.Parliament passed the Anti-Corruption Amendment Bill 2018 :-

This law has got Parliament approval after passing the Prevention of Corruption Prevention (Amendment) Bill 2018 in the Lok Sabha Tuesday evening. Responding to the debate on the bill, the Minister of Personnel and Public Grievances Dr. Jitendra Singh said that as a responsible elected government, NDA The government has taken several steps to curb the evils of corruption. Describing this law as historic, Dr. Singh said that corruption is spread all over the world but the government will continue to fight against it. Referring to the Lokpal, he said that the process is in progress and in this process, on this date on the 19th of this month the search committee The meeting was also held.

The Rajya Sabha has passed the Corruption Prevention (Amendment) Bill on 19th of this month.

 

7.Center asked the states to appoint a nodal officer in each district to stop incidents of mob violence :-

The Center has asked all the states to appoint a nodal officer in every district to prevent incidents of violence in the crowd. In the ongoing consultation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been said that this nodal officer should be of the rank of Superintendent of Police. The Ministry also said that it could constitute a special workforce which could collect confidential information against malicious and provocative speeches and those who spread false reports. The Home Ministry said that the identification process should be done within three weeks. The Ministry said that strict action will be taken against officials of the police officers or the district administration who fail to comply with the guidelines for mob violence and linking or preventing such crimes.

 

8.IND vs AUSSEX: India scored 322 runs, 4 batsmen scored half centuries :-

India have scored 322 runs on the loss of 6 wickets till the end of the first day of the 3-day practice match between India and  Essex. Dinesh Karthik (82 not out) and Hardik Pandya (33) are unbeaten, and a 61-run partnership has been reached between them.

9.Open market with gain, 147 points up, Sensex at 37,005 :-

The Indian stock market has started today with the rise. At 9:25 a.m., the Sensex index of the Sensex rose by 147 points to 37,005 and NSE’s sensitive index Nifty is trading 36 points higher at 11,168. Nifty is trading in 50 stocks in 50 stocks with 33 green mark and 17 red mark. The fastest is seen in Larsen & Toubro, ITC and Bharti Airtel.

Nifty’s mid-caps and small-stock shares are showing steady growth. The Nifty mid-cap is trading 0.12 percent and the BSE smallcap is up 0.25 percent.
