1.ISRO launches Youth Scientific Program for school children:-Indian Space Research Organization – ISRO has started youth science programs for school children. To create an interest in the children’s space activities, ISRO scientists will make them aware of the fundamentals of space technology, space science and space applications. Our correspondent has told that during the summer holidays, the catchment hostel training program will be about two weeks.In order to increase the interest of youth in basic science, the government has instructed the institutions to do some programs on it. ISRO has launched a youth program in this direction. The Chief Secretaries of all the states of the country and the Administrators of the Union Territories have been requested to send names of three Marit students from their respective territories. Talk about giving importance to rural students. By the end of this month, the names of all the students are likely to come.

2.Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated electronic border surveillance system to stop infiltration on Indo-Bangladesh border in Assam:-Home Minister Rajnath Singh launched electronic border surveillance system on Indo-Bangladesh border in Dhubri district of Assam. Border Security Force is responsible for the security of the four thousand kilometers long border with Bangladesh. Due to geographical barriers to different sites, fencing is not possible on the border. In Dhubri district, the 61-km border area is very difficult during the monsoon.Bahramaputra river enters Bangladesh from this region and its branches come out from here. In order to deal with this problem, the Home Ministry had also decided to monitor the deployment of Border Security Force in 2017 and monitor it through technology.

3.Senior Officers transferred, Sanjeev Ranjan will be the new Road Transport Secretary:-The Central Government transferred several officers at the top level. Under this, senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Sanjeev Ranjan has been made secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.Mr. Ranjan, IAS officer of the 1985 batch of Tripura cadre, is currently the Chairman of the Indian National Highway Authority (NHAI). He is currently appointed OSD (Officer on Special Duty) in the Ministry. He will take charge of the secretary on April 1, 2019. He will replace Warveer Singh Mallik, who is retiring at the end of this month. On the other hand, Ranjan will be replaced by Nagendra Nath Sinha in NHAI.Sinha is the Managing Director of National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation. He will also be responsible for this position. According to the orders of the Ministry of Personnel, Rabindra Panwar will be the new Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Child Development. He will replace Rakesh Srivastava who retires on March 31. Until Shrivastav’s retirement, there will be OSD in the Panwar Ministry. At present, he is the Special Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Home Ministry. On the Chemical Weapon Agreement, Chairman of National Authority Bhupendra Singh will take over the responsibility of Special Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

4.President Ramnath Kovind says, India will use full force to protect sovereignty – President:-After the Pulwama attack, the tension between India and Pakistan remains intact. Referring to air strikes on terrorists, President Ramnath Kovind said that if necessary, India will use its full force to protect the sovereignty of the nation. Speaking in the program of Indian Air Force, President Ramnath Kovind said , ” India is firmly committed to peace , but if necessary, we will use the full force to save the sovereignty of the nation.” Our brave men and brave women soldiers in the army will show their strength in such times. ” He heroic air warriors country’s armed forces equipped with ” show us the determination to defend the nation. ‘

The President said , ‘ We have seen his bravery and professional competence recently. The way the Indian Air Force attacked and targeted the terrorist base, attacked and carried out precautionary measures , this is an example of that. ‘

The President said that apart from the security of our nation’s sovereign civilian region, the IAF has also been ahead in humanitarian aid and disaster relief (HADR) campaigns. The flexibility and perseverance displayed by our brave air warriors is a great source of pride for the nation.

Today Chief of Air Staff Dhanova said while addressing the media, Pakistan does not speak if there is a bomb in the forest. On the question of how many terrorists died in Operation Balakot, Air Force BS Dhanova has said that our motto remains that if target hits are over or not , how many deaths we do not count. We do not count how many corpses were taken during operation and let them know that the operation is not over now.

Let us tell that on Tuesday, India had bombarded terror groups of Jaish in Balakot, Pakistan. After the Pulwama attack, the Indian Air Force took this action. There was a horrific suicide attack on February 14 in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir. In this attack 40 soldiers were martyred. In Pulwama district, the terrorists stormed the explosion-laden SUV CRPF on Srinagar-Jammu highway and exploded in it. The blast was so tremendous that the bus was hit by the bus and the bodies of the jawans around them were scattered on the road. Jaish-e-Mohammad took responsibility for the attack. The police has identified the terrorist as Adil Ahmed of Pulwama’s Kakapora. He told that Ahmed joined Jaish-e-Mohammed in 2018.

 

5.Rajnath Singh to inaugurate 28 major infrastructure projects in New Delhi:-Home Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate 28 major infrastructure projects of the Central Armed Police Forces, Delhi Police and other Central Police Organizations in New Delhi.  An official release said, Mr Singh will also lay foundation stone for three infrastructure projects of Land Ports Authority of India. These projects, involving 71 non-residential buildings, over five thousand residential quarters and 34 barracks will be constructed at a cost of nearly 1900 crore rupees. The projects are spread across 17 States including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha,  Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
The Home Ministry said, the government has been taking  various measures to enhance the capacity building of Central Armed Police Forces. It said, in the last five years, over 1773 infrastructure projects of the Central Armed Police Forces have been sanctioned with a total outlay of over 12 thousand crore rupees.

 6.Two Nobel Prizes for literature will be awarded this year: Swedish Academy:-

The Swedish Academy has said that two Nobel Prizes for literature will be awarded this year. The decision comes after a sex scandal causing the suspension of the award last year. The Academy in a statement at Stockholm yesterday said the Nobel Prize in Literature will awarded this autumn for both 2018 and 2019.The much-awaited award had to be postponed last year for the first time since 1949 after the Academy, which annually chooses the winner.

 7.Yonex All England Championships 2019 to begin:-Badminton’s greatest show, the Yonex All England Championships 2019, returns to Arena Birmingham from.  A challenging draw stands in the way of India.  But top shuttlers PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal will fancy their chances of ending a nearly two-decade-old title jinx at the tournament. Only the top 32 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings qualify for the tournament.

Out of them, only three Indians have been seeded — the third being Kidambi Srikanth (seeded seventh) in the men’s event. In women’s doubles, the pair of Ashwini Ponnapa & N Sikki Reddy and the duo of Meghana Jakkampudi and Poorvisha S Ram are in the fray. In men’s doubles, former National champion Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy will play in the first round.
