1.NASA launches new Mars rover Perseverance to seek signs of past life

NASA’s next-generation Mars rover Perseverance took off from Florida’s Cape Canaveral atop an Atlas 5 rocket.The next-generation robotic rover is scheduled to deploy a mini helicopter on Mars and test out equipment for future human missions to the fourth planet from the sun.After covering a huge distance of 300 million miles the Mars Perseverance Rover is expected to land on 18th February 2021.Perseverance Rover wheeled robot is very similar in design to NASA’s previous Mars rover, Curiosity, which landed in 2012.
2.ISRO’s IN-SPACe to be set up as single-window nodal agency for pvt sector

The proposed IN-SPACe (Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre) will be a single-window nodal agency for enabling and regulating space activities and the use of ISRO facilities by the private sector.IN-SPACe will have a Chairman, technical experts for space activities, safety specialists, experts from academia and industries, legal and strategic experts from other departments, and members of the PMO and MEA, Government of India.Last month, the Cabinet cleared IN-SPACe as a separate vertical for permitting and regulating the activities of private industry in the space sector.It will be established as a single-window nodal agency, with its own cadre, which will permit and oversee the following activities of NGPEs (Non-Government Private Entities).
3.MobiKwik launches personal UPI payment link mpay.me

FinTech company MobiKwik launched mpay.me – a UPI payment link service to send and receive money from any UPI payment app.Through mpay.me, users and merchants can set up a link using their mobile number to start receiving money.This single link created using mpay.me can be shared anywhere to send and receive money and will work seamlessly on mobile as well as desktop.

Namami Gange project has been included in the prestigious ‘Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration’.National Mission for Clean Ganga, NMCG, DG Rajiv Ranjan Mishra instructed District Magistrates and other officials associated with the District Ganga Committees to submit their nominations for this year’s prestigious award.
6.Sundaram Mutual Fund Launches ‘Any-Day SIP’:
Sundaram Mutual has given investors the freedom to select a date on which their systematic investment plan (SIP) needs to be deducted from bank account rather than choosing from the six different dates usually fixed by the fund houses.‘Any-day SIP’, which is available in all open-ended schemes, will be available for transactions made through the Sundaram Mutual website starting July 29.
