Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Guru Parab celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev ji at Lakhpat Sahib Gurdwara in Kutch, Gujarat via video conference. The Prime Minister said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji used to stay at Lakhpat during his visits. In Gurudwara Lakhpat Sahib, a wooden stand as a symbol of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and handwritten copy of Gurmukhi and palanquin are present.

In a tweet, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that Mission Indradhanush has completed seven years under Complete Immunization of Mothers and Children for a Healthy India. Under this campaign, three crore 86 lakh children were vaccinated in seven hundred and one districts of the country.
3.Tamil Nadu government launched “CM Dashboard Tamil Nadu 360”
The Government of Tamil Nadu launched the Chief Minister (CM) Dashboard monitoring system, “ CM Dashboard Tamil Nadu 360 ” in Chennai . This will enable the CM to track all welfare schemes, including their implementation status, fund allocation and number of beneficiaries as well as updates on water storage in dams and rainfall patterns. Water Resources Minister Durai Murugan and IT Minister Mano Thangaraj were present for the launch event. CM Dashboard helps in proper monitoring, increased efficiency, elimination of delays in decision making. It also monitors the prices of more than 25 food grains, vegetables and fruits and forecasts possible increases in prices to facilitate government intervention.

7.National Book Trust announces 75 selected authors under PM-YUVA mentorship scheme
The National Book Trust , which comes under the Ministry of Education , announced the results of the All India Competition organized on the topic ‘ National Movement of India ‘ under the PM-Yuva Mentorship Scheme under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program . According to this scheme, 75 authors were to be selected for the scholarship-cum-mentorship scheme brought for young writers below the age of 30 through this competition . The All India Competition was organized from 1st June to 31st July 2021 through MyGov and National Book Trust, India platforms. About 16000 entries were received from across the country, including some from the Indian expatriate community, in 22 official languages and English.

The park consists of 21 famous historical buildings from different states and a banyan tree model made of iron scraps, electric poles, old cars, trucks, park grills, automobile parts and pipes, etc. These artifacts have been prepared by 8 artists, 22 assistant artists and about 150 artisans, in about 22 months during the Corona period.

The Union Minister for Home and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah released the Good Governance Index – 2021 on the occasion of Good Governance Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi . This index has been prepared by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) . Ten sectors and 58 indicators in the framework of Good Governance Index (GGI) 2021have been included. The areas of GGI 2020-21 are: 1) Agriculture and Allied Sectors, 2) Commerce and Industry, 3) Human Resource Development, 4) Public Health, 5) Public Infrastructure and Utilities, 6) Economic Governance, 7) Social Welfare and Development, 8) Judicial and Public Security, 9) Environment and 10) Citizen-Centered Governance. In the Good Governance Index 2020-21, the states and union territories have been divided into four categories. These categories are: (i) Other States – Group A, (ii) Other States – Group B, (iii) North-East and Hill States and (iv) Union Territories. Gujarat topped the overall ranking covering 10 regions. Maharashtra has come in second place while Goa has come in third place. Uttar Pradesh also 8. Progress towards good governance has been made with a growth of 9 per cent. As per the index, at least 20 states have reported improvement in their overall GGI scores in the year 2021. In the Union Territories category, the national capital Delhi has topped the overall ranking.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said Dasna, Ghaziabad in Eastern Peripheral Expressway, India’s first “on Intelligent Transport Systems ” ( Intelligent Transport System) launched. 11.Karnataka Assembly passed the Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Bill, 2021
The “ Karnataka Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Bill, 2021 ” was passed in the assembly. This bill is called anti-conversion bill.is known as. The bill was passed by voice vote. The Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, J.C. According to Madhuswamy, the bill was introduced by the Law Commission of Karnataka in 2016 under the advice of the Congress government. The Bill provides for protection of the right to freedom of religion as well as prohibition of illegal conversion from one religion to another by force, misrepresentation, coercion, undue influence, inducement or any fraudulent means. There is a provision of imprisonment for three to five years and a fine of Rs 25,000. For contravention of provisions with respect to minors, SC/ST and women, the offenses are punishable with imprisonment of three to 10 years and fine not exceeding Rs.50,000/-. According to this bill, The accused will have to pay up to five lakh rupees as compensation to those who were converted. There is a provision of imprisonment of 3-10 years along with a fine of up to one lakh rupees in cases of mass conversion. It also directs the Family Court to declare such marriage as void and void, having taken place for the sole purpose of illegal conversion.
12.National Mission for Clean Ganga and Center of Excellence on Water Reuse launched by TERI
National Clean Ganga Mission (Anmsiji) DG and the Energy and Research Institute (TERI), the Director General of the New Delhi -based headquarters of Terry in Anmsiji-Terry launched the Center of Excellence. This Center of Excellence on Reuse of Water to be set up through collaboration between NMCG and TERI is the first of its kind in the country. The center is a quadrilateral alliance between NMCG, TERI, industry partners and industry representative bodies, located at Gwal Pahari in Gurugram .located at TERI campus. It will serve the objectives of the Ganga Knowledge Center (GKC) to design and promote research and innovation, including identifying knowledge gaps and need for innovative ideas for research, supporting targeted research and providing affordable, cost-effective research. and encourage and develop the innovation needed for integrated treatment technologies that will be able to address current treatment vulnerabilities, increase efficiencies, and provide safe treated water for reuse. Thus, this Center of Excellence will also be the first of its kind to coincide with the activities envisaged under GKC.
13.Corporate Affairs Ministry’s proposal on IBC
December 23, 2021 the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has bankrupted tribunals (bankruptcy tribunals) occurring troubled companies “to accelerate the rescue ended amended Insolvensi and Bankruptcy Code (IBC)‘ proposed. The ministry suggested ways for faster adoption of revival plans prepared by stakeholders together with faster admission of cases in tribunals to initiate the process of bankruptcy. The government also plans to hold a second round of public consultations to finalize the amendments to the IBC. The government has suggested amending the IBC to provide for a “fixed time period for disapproval or approval” of the corporate turnaround plan by the tribunal. The ministry has also suggested for expeditious disposal of cases by the tribunals.
14.India and Maldives jointly launch pilot project on Pre-Arrival Customs Data Exchange
India and Maldives signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the customs of the two countries for the joint launch of a pilot project on ‘ Pre-Arrival Customs Data Exchange ‘ in a virtual ceremony . It was launched by Vivek Johri, Chairman, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Abdulla Sharif, Commissioner General, Maldives Customs Service. This MoU helps in faster Export-Import (EXIM) clearance, fast-track customs payment and fraud detection. It also strengthens the supply chain to further enhance bilateral trade.

16.BoB Financial and Indian Navy launch co-branded credit card
BoB Financial Solutions Limited , a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Baroda and the Indian Navy, has launched a co-branded credit card for naval personnel. The credit card will be offered on the RuPay platform and will be equipped with contactless features. Naval personnel up to the age of 64 years will be eligible to choose from 3 variants of co-branded credit cards. Out of the 3 variants, the base variant will be offered as a lifetime free credit card and the other 2 variants will be offered at an annual fee on inclusion and with easily achievable spend-based fee reversal/discount.

HSBC Asset Management (India) , an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of HSBC Holdings PLC, has acquired L&T Investment Management (LTIM) , an investment manager of L&T Mutual Fund (MF) from L&T Finance Holdings Ltd., for USD 425 million (approximately Rs 3187 crore). ) is acquired. As of September 2021, LTIM is ranked as the 12th largest mutual fund management company in India with assets under management (AUM) of Rs 80,300 crore and over 2.4 million active folios.

Axis Bank has announced the approval to reclassify Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) from Promoter Category to Public Category Shareholder in the Bank . In October, applications were made to the BSE and NSE for reclassification of The New Oriental Insurance Company from the promoter category to the public category. Currently, OICL holds 0.16 per cent stake in Axis Bank. Presently, BSE and NSE have approved the new Oriental Insurance Company for reclassification from Promoter Category to Public Category.
21.Central Bank of India signs co-lending agreement with You Grow Capital
Central Bank of India and You Grow Capital have signed a co-loan agreement and plan to disburse up to Rs 1,000 crore to medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) over the next 12 months . The distribution will take place under U Grow Capital’s various MSME segments under its programs – Pratham, Sanjeevani, Saathi, Grow MSME and Machinery Financing. The Central Bank of India will provide co-lending support through the GRO-Xstream platform with loans generated by U Grow Capital’s distribution network. This arrangement will ensure availability of credit to MSMEs at an affordable cost.

Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya , the great freedom fighter was born on December 25, 1861 . He played an important role in the freedom movement, he was the President of the Indian National Congress three times . He is also known as Mahamana. He founded the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi in 1916 . He was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna by the Government of India in 2015. was awarded. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya was born on 25 December 1861 in Allahabad (now Prayagraj). He became the President of the Indian National Congress in 1909, 1918 and 1932–33. Mahatma Gandhi gave him the title of “Mahamana”. After studying law, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya fought many cases in favor of the revolutionaries and was successful in them. Madan Mohan Malviya was very active in journalism. In 1887, he started his journalism career with a Hindi daily newspaper named “Hindostan”. In 1889 he became the editor of “Indian Opinion”. In 1907, he himself started the Hindi weekly magazine “Abhyudaya”. In 1910, he started a Hindi newspaper named “Maryada”. In 1924 he met Lala Lajpat Rai, M.R. Acquired Hindustan Times with the help of Jayakar and Ghanshyam Das Birla and saved it from closure. He was the editor of Hindustan Times from 1924 to 1946. With his efforts, the Hindi edition of Hindustan Times “Hindustan” was started in 1936. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya died on 12 November 1946 in Allahabad.

The theme of the 5th Siddha Day is “ Strength of Siddha in Communicable Diseases ” to sensitize the public about the importance of the Siddha system in combating communicable diseases.
