4.Signing of Legal Agreements for a $250 Million Loan for the “SALT Project”

- 40 lakh students in the age group of 6 to 14 in 45,000 government schools
- 10 lakh children in the age group of three to six years enrolled in Anganwadis
- 1,90,000 teachers
- Over 50,000 Anganwadi workers
Under this project, one year preschool level curriculum will be started in 3,500 schools in tribal blocks. The project has been taken up with a limit of 5 years, starting from 2021-22.
