1.India successfully test-fires indigenous laser guided anti-tank missile amidst ongoing tension from China in eastern Ladakh:- Defense Research and Development Organization (Defense Research Development Organization, DRDO) on Thursday successfully tested the indigenous laser guided anti-tank missile (Laser-Guided Anti Tank Guided Missile) amidst ongoing tension from China over LAC in eastern Ladakh. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO for this. The Defense Ministry said that the missile was fired from the MBT Arjun tank in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. During the test at the KK range, the missile successfully destroyed the target. Earlier on 22 September, the missile was successfully tested in Ahmednagar itself. This missile has a capability of detonating armored vehicles from 1.5 to 5 km. It has been developed with the capability of launching through multiple platforms. Currently, it is undergoing tests through 120 mm gun of Arjun tank. The missile has been developed by DRDO’s Ordnance Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) Pune.

2.PM Modi wrote letter to village sarpanches and village heads for water life mission:-To provide tap water to every household in villages under the Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Narendra Modi has written to the village sarpanches and village heads to continue their efforts to implement it. In his letter to the village leaders, PM Modi has urged that women should lead water management. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the goal of water supply from every village in every village is to be completed by the year 2024. Before this, tap water will be supplied in every school and anganwadi center in the country within the next hundred days. PM Narendra Modi made this announcement at a function of Jal Jeevan Mission last Tuesday. The role of states will be important in establishing water connections in schools and Anganwadi centers.
3.Scientists Using Nanomotors to Understand Cancer, Three-D Tumor Modeled Use:- Nanotechnology is making its mark in various fields ranging from electronic equipment, to agriculture, engineering and medical sciences. Researchers at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, have used three-D tumor models and magnetically operated nanomotors to study the microenvironments of cells in a unique effort. Nanomotors are molecular machines that generate physical motion in molecules using chemical energy. Researchers say this study may be important in understanding cancer progression.
4.IPL 2020: player can be out of tournament for breaking bio bubble rules, team will be fined one crore:- IPL, if the player violates bio-bubble (safe environment designed to protect against corona) then he can be out of the tournament. Apart from this, the team may have to pay a fine of Rs 1 crore and two points can be deducted from the points table.
5.India will operate the Sivte Port in Myanmar, will help reduce the threat of China on the northeastern states:- At the slow pace, India has started implementing its plans to rein in the conspiracies of the dragon that is spreading its foot in neighboring countries. In this sequence, India will start operating the port of Myanmar at Sivte in the first quarter of next year. This will be the second port in another country to be operated by India. The first is Chabahar of Iran. The biggest importance of Sivete Port is that the dependence on the Sikkam-West Bengal corridor will now be eliminated to supply goods to the northeastern states. Its other importance is that India has been successful in building a separate diplomatic and strategic relationship with Myanmar despite China’s influence.
6.BMW launches special edition of mini convertible in India, only 15 vehicles will be sold in India, know what is the price:- Mini Convertible Sidewalk Special Edition:  Germany’s luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW has introduced a special sidewalk edition of the Mini Convertible in India. The price of which has been fixed at Rs 44.9 lakh ex-showroom. Let me tell you, the Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is brought completely in India under the CBU unit. At the same time, only 15 units of this will be available for sale.
7.Relief news for the government, GST collection increased by Rs 9031 crore in September compared to August:- According to data released by the Finance Ministry, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection in September has increased from Rs 86449 crore to Rs 95480 crore as compared to July. CGST recovery has increased from Rs 15906 crore to Rs 17,741 crore. At the same time, SGST has increased from Rs 21064 crore to Rs 23131 crore and IGST to Rs 47,484 crore. The government provided Rs 21,260 crore to CGST and Rs 16,997 crore to SGST as a settlement. The Finance Ministry said that the collection of Goods and Services Tax in September touched the highest level in this financial year.
8.4327 urban bodies free from open defecation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan:- So far, 4,327 urban bodies have been declared ‘Open Defecation Free’ (ODF) under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan-Urban Area (SBM-U). Giving this information on Thursday, the Union Housing and Urban Development Ministry said that this has been made possible due to the construction of more than 66 lakh individual toilets and more than six lakh public and community toilets in urban areas.
