1.World’s Shortest Woman Unveils 51-Feet High Book :-
The world’s shortest woman Jyoti Amge today unveiled a 51-feet high book at a programme.
The book ‘Kadve Vachan’ written by Jain saint Acharya Tarun Sagar Maharaj was unveiled by her in the presence of BJP state president Ashok Parnami.
Amge is considered to be the world’s shortest woman alive by the Guinness World Records at 62.8 cm.The book contains various “bitter” discourses about life and guides people for better living.
2.SEBI has identified 331 shell companies, trading closed from today :-
Market regulator SEBI has issued a list of 331 companies on Monday, scaling up the shell companies. There are also listed companies. For the purpose of preventing black money, SEBI has said that these companies will not be trading this month. Trade has been closed since Tuesday.
What happens Shell companies-
Shell companies are those dubious companies who usually use illegal funds for laundering. If these companies are talking about the operation, then there is no work of any kind in them, only entries on paper are recorded. However, the company’s act does not define the term shell company.
According to the Bombay Stock Exchange, trading in these listed securities should be done with immediate effect in Stage VI of Grade-Served Measures (GSM). If a listed company has previously been identified under any stage of GSM, then it has to be sent directly to Stage VI of GSM.
3.Ahmed Patel, Amit Shah and Smriti Irani also won :-
In the Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat, the day-to-day hailstorm has finally been good for the Congress. Election Commission, while acting on the Congress appeal, canceled the votes of two rebel legislators late night. This gave Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s political adviser Ahmed Patel the victory of the Rajya Sabha election from Gujarat.
BJP president Amit Shah and Union Minister Smriti Irani won easily with the expectation of the BJP.
But in the third seat of the Rajya Sabha from the state, the BJP proved to be a belligerent by winning the league against Balwant Singh, Patel succeeded in reaching the Rajya Sabha for the fifth time for the fifth time.
4.Former Union minister and BJP MP Sanwar Lal Jat passes away in Delhi :-
Minister of Water Resources in the Modi Government, and BJP MP from Ajmer, Sanwar Lal Jat has passed away in Delhi. Let us tell you that Sanwarlal Jat fell unconscious due to BJP President Amit Shah’s program in Rajasthan capital Jaipur on July 22.
Sanwarlal Jat is Lok Sabha MP from Ajmer. He has also been the Minister of State for Water Resources in the Modi Government. From November 9, 2014 to July 5, 2016, he has worked as the Minister of State for Water Resources.
5.Deepak Mishra to be the new chief justice of the Supreme Court, 28 will take oath :-
Supreme Court’s senior judge Deepak Mishra was appointed on Tuesday as the next Chief Justice of India (CJI). This information has been given in an official notification issued by the Law Ministry on Tuesday evening.
It has been said that the appointment of Deepak Mishra (63) has been announced. They will replace Chief Justice JS Khehar. Justice Khehar retires on August 27 Justice Deepak Mishra’s tenure is about 14 months.
Justice Deepak Mishra will be the 45th Chief Justice of the country. He will be the third judge of Odisha high court to become Chief Justice of the country.
6.Government will boost set-top box, dependence on imports :-
Along with the digitization of broadcasting, the government is also fast moving towards the direction of indigenization of digital set-top boxes. The government wants to reduce dependence on imports by promoting STB construction in the country.
Moving forward this sequence, Doordarshan has ordered the purchase of a set top box based on the country’s five crore Indian Conditional Access System license.
In order to encourage construction of set top boxes at the domestic level, the Central Government approved a revised special incentive package scheme in January 2017.
7.H-1B visa strictly damages to the US :-
America’s IT sector can harshly harm H-1B visa rules. In this regard, the top American think tank has warned the Trump administration. The report for the Center for Global Development states that the Donald Trump Administration is reviewing the H-1B visa. It should be noted that it is used by most Indian IT professionals and it is beneficial for both the US and India.
In the CGD, Fellow Gaurav Khanna said, “It is indeed necessary to ensure that the IT sector of both the countries can attract talented people because they will carry forward the research work in both the countries. H-1B has benefited the economy of both countries. He said that strictly in the H1-B, the US could take a lead in the IT sector. IT companies can turn their backs towards Canada.
8.PM salutes all the women & men who took part in the Quit India movement, on the 75th anniversary; Urges people to take pledge for creating a ‘New India’ by 2022 :-
