1.Airport stopped after the volcano erupted, thousands of passengers stranded :-

After the fierce clash with a volcano in Bali in Indonesia, authorities on Monday ordered people to be taken out at large levels from the surrounding hazardous areas. At the same time, the international airport of Bali was also closed , thereby stopping thousands of passengers there.

From the weekend to Mount Aungung , the white and dark gray color of the ash is coming out from the weekend to about 3,000 meters in the atmosphere . National Disaster Mitigation Agency increased the level of alert to the highest. At the same time, the danger zone was increased from the pre- 7.5 km radius to 10 kilometers.

 

2.53 air strikes, including 21 children in Russia’s air raids in Syria :-

At least 53 people, including 21 children, were killed in Russia’s air strikes in Syria. These attacks were carried out at a village occupied by the Islamic State militant group in Din Azhor province. The Syrian Human Rights Watch organization said that these air strikes were targeted at residential buildings in Al Shafah village. According to the organization, dead bodies were removed from wreck during the day-long relief operations. These attacks were done in Geneva before the peace talks between the government and the Syrian opposition in the United Nations Mediation tomorrow.

 

3.Pope will visit Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh-Myanmar trip :-

Catholic Church’s Pope Francis has left Myanmar and Bangladesh for 6 days on the 21st and the most important foreign travel till now. This trip is considered to be extremely important in the background of the Rohingya crisis. The 80-year-old Pope’s plane sailed from Rome to Myanmar at about nine o’clock in the night.

He will be there at around seven in the morning. It is hoped that there will be some improvement in the situation of the crisis caused by Rohingya Muslims in Buddhist-dominated Myanm. Before leaving Myanmar, addressing the followers on St.Peters’ Check, the Pope said that I request you to be with me in the prayers so that my presence for these people is a symbol of hope and love.

 

4.Supreme Court allowed four companies of paramilitary forces to be removed from Darjeeling and deployed in Gujarat :-

The Supreme Court has allowed the Center to deploy four of the eight armed forces of central armed paramilitary forces from the Ashtur Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts of West Bengal and deploy them in the state of Gujarat in the elections.

The bench of Chief Justice Deepak Mishra , Justice AM Khanvilkar and D.V. Chandrachud accepted the petition of Center for deploying half of the paramilitary forces deployed there in the polling state.

The Supreme Court had earlier sanctioned the Center’s plea and removed seven of the 15 companies and approved the deployment of Jammu and Kashmir boundaries , North – Eastern states and elections to Gujarat, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

 

5.Dineshwar Sharma, Special Representative of the Center, arrived in Srinagar on a three-day visit :-

About the Special Representative of the Center, Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma traveled to Srinagar on a three-day visit. Official sources said that Mr. Sharma met at least fourteen delegations including the Kesar Growers Farmers Committee, youth association, civil society group, women empowerment group, social worker group and youth group of different villages of Pulwama in Pulwama. Shri Sharma will also meet different delegations during Anantnag Yatra.

 

6.Need to strengthen the existing railway structure- Ashwini Lohani :-

Railway Board Chairman Ashwini Lohani, while referring to the Rail Accident in Uttar Pradesh, said that lack of neglect and maintenance of decades has seen a bad effect on the infrastructure of the railway and we have to pay the price. Instead of expanding the rail infrastructure, the emphasis is on the need to strengthen the existing structure.

Lohani said in a comment that there is a need to implement an action plan to address this problem. Lohani went to the accident site in Manikpur in Chitrakoot district.

Lohani described the incident of Manikpur as a matter of concern and said that the decades of neglect of maintenance of basic infrastructure have been exposed. Prioritization has to be given to strengthen the place of expansion, and there should be an action plan very soon.

 

7.Rupee down 9 paise against dollar :-

Rupee rupee depreciated by 9 paise to 64.79 against dollar in early trading on the Interbank Foreign Exchange market .

Currency traders said that dollar demand from the exporters and banks for the American currency and a fall in the domestic stock market has strengthened the dollar.

 

8.Indian champion in both classes of Asian kabaddi :-

India named men’s and women’s section titles in Asian Kabaddi competition organized in Iran. India defeated opponent Pakistan in men’s category 36-22 in a one-sided fashion and Korea beat women 42-20 in women section .

Ajay Thakur, who is heading the captaincy team in the tournament, won the title with 14 points in the title match .

India had earlier Iraq 61-21 from , Afghanistan 103-25 from , Japan 82-16 from , Pakistan 44-18 and South Korea in the semifinals 45-29Was defeated by the digits. On the other hand, the Indian women team defeated South Korea by 42-20 points thanks to the brilliant performance of Kavita Thakur and Priyanka Negi .

India had made a seven-point lead till half time of the match , but in the second half, Indian women performed brilliantly and won the match by 22 points.

 

9.India has won 10 medals including two gold in the Para Badminton World Championship :-

In Para Badminton World Championship, India has won a total of ten medals including two gold medals.

Parul Parmar won two gold medals in the women’s singles Stating Lower Finals and Women’s Doubles title in Ulsan, South Korea. Tarun Dhillon won the men’s singles SL-4 and Manoj Sarkar won the silver medal in the SL-3 category.

 

10.Pankaj Advani reached the final of the World Snooker Championship :-

Pankaj Advani of India has reached the final of the World Snooker Championship. Advani defeated Austrian fluorian Nuble 7-2 in the Best of XI semifinal held at Doha.
