1.Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri Launches ‘E-Dharti Jio Portal’:- Union Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri of Management Information Systems in the map and lease plans to integrate legacy drawings such as its geographic information system (GIS) to create ‘e-Geo portal is launched. The Office of Land and Development deals with more than 60000 residential, commercial, industrial and institutional properties. Now with the launch of the portal, the property certificate details and property map can be easily accessed online. The portal is highly beneficial for the elderly public. This will help avoid unnecessary litigation. Also, the portal will help a buyer to know the details of the property whether a lawsuit is pending in relation to the property.

2.Prahlad Singh Patel Launches “Life In Miniature” Project:- The Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independen Charge),  Prahlad Singh Patel  has  launched the “Life in Miniatures” project in collaboration between the National Museum, New Delhi, Ministry of Culture and Google Arts and Culture  .

About the “Life in Miniature”  project:

* On the Google Arts & Culture  app, online viewers can experience the first augmented reality-driven art gallery designed with traditional Indian architecture, and explore a life-size virtual space where you can find miniature paintings . Can see the selection of.

* Artworks displayed with five universal themes of human relationships with nature, love, celebration, faith and power are presented.

* Users can view National Museum’s famous miniature collections, such as the Ramayana, the Royal Saga, mountain-style paintings in never-before-seen ways and in extraordinary detail,

3.Vigilance Awareness Week 2020:- Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 is being celebrated from 27 October to 2 November 2020 . This year, the Central Vigilance Commission by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (October 31) is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday. The theme for Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 is: Vigilant India, Prosperous India (Vigilant India, Prosperous India).  The awareness week campaign reaffirms our commitment to promoting integrity and possibility in public life through citizen participation. In 2020, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is hosting a national conference on vigilance and anti-corruption from 27 to 29 October 2020, which will be addressed by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.

4.NATO Plans To Establish New Space Center In Germany:- The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) alliance plans to build a headquarters for space operations at its airbase in Ramstein , Germany, to counter the growing Russian and Chinese threat . The new center will be a central point of contact to support NATO missions with communications and satellite images. It will also be a place of exchange of information on potential threats to satellites. Some 2,000 satellites orbit the Earth , more than half of which are operated by NATO members , making everything from mobile phone services to weather forecasts. Currently, at least 40 percent of NATO communications are via satellite.

5.Wavell Ram kalaavan Of Indian Origin Becomes President Of Seychelles:- Wavell Ram kalavan  of Indian origin has been elected President of Seychelles . The Seychelles elected an opposition candidate for the first presidential post since 1977. He defeated incumbent Danny Foury . Ramkalavan is a priest of Indian origin whose grandfather came from Gopalganj, Bihar.

6.Bangladesh Government’s Decision: ‘No Mask, No Service’:- The Bangladesh government  has decided that  no service  will be given to those who do not wear masks . The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina decided that no one would be allowed to enter the offices without a mask. It was decided that all offices will have to put up notice boards saying ‘no mask, no service’ to control the spread of COVID 19 virus in the country .

7.IIT Jodhpur, NHAI Signed MoU For Betterment Of Highway Infrastructure:- IIT ( Indian Institute Of Technology- IIT) Jodhpur and NHAI ( National Highways Authority Of India – NHAI) has to highway betterment of infrastructure for sharing expertise Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on.

 About the MoU :

*Both institutes will work in domains that include transportation engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering.

*They will also collaborate in hydraulics engineering, infrastructure systems, earthquake engineering, urban and rural planning and disaster management and planning domains.

*The MoU will enable undergraduate and postgraduate students of IIT Jodhpur to undertake internships from the above mentioned domains.

*The joint activities will bridge the industry-institute gap and develop technologies that will be adopted in practice by NHAI.
