1.Prime Minister Modi congratulated on World Radio Day :-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the people of the radio world on World Radio Day. In his message, Modi has said that he congratulates all the people associated with the radio world, including everyone working in the radio and the listener. He has expressed confidence that this medium will always remain the focal point of learning, finding, entertaining and increasing together. The Prime Minister has said that the radio brings us closer and I am experiencing this through the ‘Mana Ki Baat’ program. He has given a link to the matter of mind and said that all the editions of the program are heard on this.

 

2.United States and South Korea agreed to improve diplomatic relations with North Korea :-

The US and South Korea have agreed on ways to improve diplomatic relations with North Korea. According to US Vice President Mike Pence, this can lead to the possibility of uncontrolled dialogue between the two parties. In a conversation returning from the Winter Olympics in South Korea, Mr. Pence said that the Trump administration will maintain maximum pressure on North Korea, but the options for potential negotiations are open.

 

3.2300 Indian peacekeepers will participate in peace campaign in South Sudan :-

2300 soldiers of the Indian Army are going off to participate in UN peacekeeping operations in South Sudan. Indian Army spokesman Col Aman Anand said that these soldiers will contribute in peace efforts in the war-torn South Sudan. These soldiers from the Indian Army belong to the infantry battalion of the Garhwal Rifles.

 

4.The process of filing of nomination papers in Nagaland and Meghalaya ended, the former Chief Minister Naefiyu Rio elected uncontested :-

In Nagaland, former Chief Minister NEIFI Rio has been elected unopposed for the state legislative assembly. After withdrawing from the election of NPF candidate Chupfu-O, Chief Election Officer Abhijit Sinha announced this in Kohima. Now a hundred candidates have remained in the fray. According to the Election Commission’s directive, VV Pat machines will be used on all the polling stations on 27th February.Year 2013 compared to the polls this year showed an increase of almost two thousand voters. In the state, more than one thousand polling stations have been identified as sensitive , out of which 530 are highly sensitive and 566Is a normal polling station. Chief Electoral Officer has said that in addition to minor incidents of election related violence in some places, no serious incident has been reported yet. He said that adequate safeguards are being taken in all the districts and companies of security forces are being deployed.

 

5.The Supreme Court asked the Election Commission for reply within two weeks on the petition regarding voter list :-

The Supreme Court has asked the Election Commission to reply within two weeks on a petition seeking a voter list for Lok Sabha , Assembly and local body elections to save public wealth and labor power . The bench of Chief Justice Deepak Mishra , Justice AM Khanvilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud will hear the petition on March 5. The bench asked Attorney General K.K. Venugopal to help the court in this case.

 

6.Heavy hail in Maharashtra :-

Maharashtra Agriculture Minister said Pandurn Phundkar with torrential rain, according to initial estimates reported in the state due to hailstorm 11 a thousand districts 86 one in the village, 25 have suffered heavy million hectares. The biggest loss is in the districts of Buldhana , Amravati and Jaffna. The Agriculture Minister also told that most of the losses of wheat , gram , jowar , onion and grapes have been damaged. However, the banana cultivation in Jalgaon district has virtually lost ground. He has assured that the loss of the farmers will be compensated according to the primary report

 

7.The movement of vehicles on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway with heavy snowfall :-

Due to heavy snowfall in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was closed for vehicular movement. This has ended the Khushkhi period in the region in the region. At the same time, the fresh snowfall in the Garhwal and Kumaun areas and the low hills and low-lying rains in the valley areas of Uttarakhand have reduced the temperature. Due to snowfall on the hills and rains in the plains, a significant drop in temperature has been recorded. Badrinath , Kedarnath , Hemkund Sahib , Gangotri , Yamunotri and Munasari and Dharchula have heavy snowfall. Farmers have described rain and snowfall as beneficial for rabi crops. The Meteorological Center has reported that this change in the season has come in the wake of the Western disturbance and the next 12In high altitude areas and snowfall may occur in hours. In some places in Pithoragarh , Uttarkashi and Chamoli districts, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in the next 12 hours .
