2.ISRO plans to leave Chandrayaan-2 mission around April this year :-
Union Doner , PMO , Personnel , Public Grievances and Pensions , nuclear energy and space, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) around April this year Chandrayaan-2 Planning to leave the mission. He said that Chandrayaan-2 will be the second mission of the country on the moon. Dr. Jitendra Singh was addressing a press conference about the achievements of the Department of Space and the Department of Atomic Energy, here today. Chandrayaan-2 is a challenging mission because for the first time we will take an artificial satellite , a lender and a rover in the moon . He said that it is a matter of pride that ISRO is quitting Chandrayaan-2 , Which will take India to new heights in the field of space technology.
3.In the budget of the year 2018-19, the budget expenditure of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs increased by 12 percent :-
Ministry of Tribal Affairs will establish 562 and Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in the tribal areas of the country. Giving information to the media about budgetary provisions in Budget 2018-19, the Minister of Tribal Affairs Mr. Jual Oram said that the government is committed to providing tribal children best education in their own environment. The Finance Minister had announced in his budget speech ‘The government is committed to providing tribal children best education in their own environment. To fulfill this mission, it has been decided that by year 2022, there will be an Eklavya Model Residential School for more than 50 percent tribal population and at least 20,000 tribal people. Eklavya School will be equivalent to Navodaya Vidyalayas and will have special facilities to preserve local art and culture, with the facility of training in sports and skill development .
4.Efforts to find out the government’s vision of doubling the income of farmers by 2022, prior to the conference on the issue of doubling the income of farmers by 2022 :-
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MOA and FW) is organizing a national conference on “Agriculture 2022 – doubling the income of farmers” in National Agricultural Science Complex (NSC), Pusa, New Delhi. This two-day conference will be held on February 19 and 20.
The Conference is being organized on the advice of Hon’ble Prime Minister to identify various important issues related to the welfare of farmers and farmers and find suitable solutions. The main objective of the conference is to make a consensus on the appropriate suggestions in the conference, which will help to shape the government’s approach to doubling the income of farmers by 2022 and make it sharp.
5.Railway Ministry has instructed the Zonal Railway to stop pasting reservation chart on train coaches for 6 months from 01 March, 2018 :-
Railway Ministry has directed Zonal Revlay to close the reservation chart for 6 months on reserved coaches of all trains at all stations of the then A1, A and B category from 01 March 2018.
Physical / digital charts will continue on the platforms of the train. The physical reservation chart on such platforms can be stopped on those stations where the plasma showing an electronic chart and is working properly.
Prior to this, stopping the reservation chart on reserved coaches of all trains on experimental basis was stopped at New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Mumbai Central, Chennai Center, Howrah and Sealdah stations of Indian Railways.
6.Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) will be able to raise additional debt of 63000 crore from the beneficial decisions made by the Corporate Ministry’s tax exemption notice :-
Using the powers conferred under Section 129 (6) of the Companies Act, a notification issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on February 5, 2017, issued by the Indian Railway Finance Corporation, IRFC, the principal entity of the Ministry of Railways, to raise capital from the market for the Railways. It will be of great benefit as after notification, it has come under the purview of companies and NBFCs who have been given a tax rebate for seven years.
- 7.2 magnitude earthquake threw in Mexico City, people ran out of homes; shadow darkness in 10 million homes :-
The earthquake of Mexico’s capital, Mexico City, shook on Friday. On Friday morning, tremors were felt in Mexico City and its surrounding areas. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), there was a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. The epicenter of the earthquake is being said in 43 kilometers of land near the Pacific coast in the southern state of Oaxaca.
- RBI warns banks: Acceptance of all coins will be action :-
Since the ban on bondage, common people across the country are battling the issue of coins. They refuse to take coins with them, while there is a flood of these coins in the market. Despite the RBI’s instructions, many banks are still refusing to take coins.
After this, the Reserve Bank of India has cautioned the banks that coins of all the value classes should be accepted from the customers. If there is a violation of this direction then action can be taken against them. The RBI has said that complaints are being received by the customers in the bank branches, even though they are advised to collect the coins of all the value classes from the counters.
