1.First lady post office passport service center starts operation :-
Firstly , the operation of the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK), which is run by women’s team, has begun in Phagwara, Punjab. Union Minister Vijay Sampla inaugurated the service center at the local center post office.
This is the 192nd POPSK in the country, but it is the first to be run by the women’s team. According to Jalandhar regional passport officer Harmanbir Singh Gill, Madhuri will be vigilant by the verification officer of Phagwara Center.

4.Revenue collection for education, five percent reduction in budget :-
Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has proposed to reduce the revenue of education by five per cent in the budget of all other departments.

6.Those who run the coaching center now have to give 18 percent GST :-

Piracy is a serious crime and the culprit should be punished.
10.India’s third largest solar market in the world: Merkom report :-
According to Mercom Communications India report, India has emerged as the world’s third largest solar market after China and the US in 2017 . India is increasing at about CAGR of about 170% since 2010.
According to the report, India has set a new record in 2017 with 9.6 Gigawat Solar Installations , which was twice as compared to 4.3 Gigawatts in 2016.
Solid development has increased the country’s total solar installed capacity to 19.6 GW by December 2017.
