1.Tourism Minister will launch first direction in relation to adventure tourism :-

Government is issuing the first guidelines for adventure tourism in India. Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) Shri K. J. Alfonso will launch this guideline on May 31, 2018 at a function to be held in New Delhi. Based on safety and quality in relation to adventure tourism in India, these guidelines have been prepared in association with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOI).

 2.Ministry of Railways launches new User Interface of its state-of-the-art e-ticket system  :-

According to the vision of Central Railway Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, to ensure better experience to the users (user) by adopting the best practices adopted in the Information Technology Industry, the online travel portal of the railways  www.irctc.co.in   has now got its new user interface Has launched the beta version. The new link has more and more features suited to users.

The ‘Digital India’ initiative has paved the way for government organizations to use the power of technology and to make the lives of Indian citizens easier. By creating a state-of-the-art e-ticket (NGET) system, the new online ticket booking system of Railways has made the journey of booking of tickets and making them easier and more intensively by giving the scheme of travel plans and ticket purchases.

3.International Conference on ‘Trips-CBD Combination’ in Geneva on 7-8 June, 2018 :-

India is spearheading the campaign to resume the WTO debate on issues related to prevention of traditional knowledge. Together with the WTO Learning Center, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and the South Center (an intergovernmental organization located in Geneva), the Indian government is organizing an international conference on ‘Trips-CBD Combination’ in Geneva, 7-8 June, 2018.

 4.India and Pakistan review the current situation on the LoC and the International Border :-

India and Pakistan review the current situation in LOC and international border in Jammu and Kashmir. The Director General of Military Operations (DGSMO) of both countries spoke to each other through a hotline on violation of the ceasefire and other issues. In this review, there was an agreement on the resolution of honest measures to avoid the unrest at the borders, prioritize the security of the citizens and improve the existing situation. In a statement, The Indian Army has said that the Pakistani side has agreed to ensure the implementation of the 2003 ceasefire understanding altogether and ensure that the ceasefire will not be violated from now on. There is mutual consent in both the sides that in any issue or case, abstinence will always be used and the cases will be resolved through the use of the existing mechanism of hotline contacts and boundary flag meeting at the level of local commanders. It should be known that the request for contact on the hot line between DGSMO of both the forces came from the Pakistani side.

5.India and China agree to negotiate on bilateral social security agreement :-

India and China have agreed to launch formal talks on bilateral social security agreements with the aim of protecting the interests of Indian professionals and skilled workers abroad. This agreement has been agreed between the two sides during the two-day talks held in Beijing. The Indian Embassy in Beijing told that during the talks, India and China have detailed and comprehensive discussions on formal negotiations on the social security agreement. According to an official release, till now, India has signed social security agreements with 18 countries of the world, and this issue is continuing to discuss with many other countries. In fact, the purpose of this bilateral social security agreements is to protect the interests of skilled professionals working in Indian professionals and overseas.

6.Prime Minister Modi meets Indonesian President, signing 15 contracts :-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Indonesian President Joko Vadodo at the Marde’s Palace in Jakarta and did informal talks. With renewal of its Defense Cooperation Agreement, India and Indonesia signed 15 contracts for cooperation in various fields including space, railways, science and technology, health. Among these, six agreements have been held between various government and non-governmental organizations. It is also announced that the Bali of Indonesia and Uttarakhand states of India will be made a sahodar state. These agreements were signed in the bilateral summit held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Joaqui Viado of Indonesia. The two countries also released a separate shared passage on this occasion and the joint statement of India on maritime cooperation.

7.Madhya Pradesh Government will give two lakh 37 thousand contractual teachers regular :-

The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to regular two lakh 37 thousand teachers working on the contract. This decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The Cabinet also decided that no contract employee working in other government departments would be removed.

8.India is on the third spot in scientific research – Dr. Harshavardhan :-

In a meeting with Akashwani, on ‘Scientific Achievements of India’, Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that India has the third place after US and China in terms of scientific research. In the last four years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have succeeded in bringing the country very much through science. Speaking of the scientific publication, we are in sixth place in the world. Talk about the growth rate of the scientific publication, the world’s growth rate is four percent, while India’s growth rate is around 14 percent. Similarly, a new development is nanotechnology, in which we are at number three inside the world.

9.Dehradun International Cricket Stadium selected home team of Afghan team :-

Dehradun International Cricket Stadium, created by the Uttarakhand government, was officially inaugurated after the last investigation of the ICC Special Committee. The ICC committee found the stadium to be consistent with international standards and after its investigation, the field was approved for organizing matches in all three formats of the game. Located in the capital of Uttarakhand, this stadium is located right next to the rolling hills and rivers background. This stadium has a seating facility of 25 thousand viewers. From this stadium, the audience can be removed in an emergency within just 8 minutes. The stadium has been selected as the home ground of the Afghanistan cricket team and the Afghan team will play three T-20 matches against Bangladesh on the same ground on three, five and seven June 2018.

10.Justice Murari to be the new chief justice of Punjab-Haryana High Court :-

Justice Krishna Murari will be the new Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court. The Law Ministry has given green signal for this post. Justice Murari is currently the judge of the Allahabad High Court. Last month, the Supreme Court Collegium had approved his name for the post of Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court.

    addition to all government banks in the country, some private and foreign banks have about 10 lakh workers on strike from Wednesday. Today is the second and final day of his strike today. Bank employees have landed on the streets demanding increased wages. On the first day of the strike, its effect was visible in different states, which is expected to be visible even more on the second day. Public banks and ATMs are locked, which can cause people to face problems even today.
