1.Smart India Hackothan launches, 1,300 groups will find software solutions for more than 340 issues :-

Image result for Smart India Hackathon launchesThe final round of Smart India Hacothan began on 28 centers spread across the country. Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar initiated Hakathan at Delhi’s SIH 2018 Center. 

In the world’s largest innovation effort under Digital India, 1,300 teams are participating in finding software solutions for 340 problems given by various ministries, departments and state governments. It has been jointly organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, AICTE, Persistent Systems, I-4-Cand, Rambhau Malgi Prabodhini.

Professor of Indian Council of Technical Education Anil D. Sahasrabuddhe said that the smart India Hackathan, which started last year, has made great progress in the participation of students and ministries. In the last Hacothan, 40 thousand students participated and this number has reached 1 lakh this time.

 

2.The President received special edition of ‘Think India’ magazine centered on Deendayal Upadhyay :-

Editor of Special Edition and Member of Parliament, Shri D.P. In the presence of Tripathi, Member of Parliament, Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi presented a copy of the special edition to the President. 

 

3.Total refunds of Rs. 17,616 crore were released under GST; 90 percent of IGST valid claims have been approved :-

Image result for gstIn line with the commitment of the government to pay all outstanding GST refunds , the central indirect taxes and customs boards (CBIC) have successfully completed the Refund Pakkhada Co-Exclusive Mission from March15 , 2018 to March 31 , 2018 .

During this period , all regional productions CBIC has striven to provide exporters refunds relief. A special refund cell built with experienced staff across the country was established. 

The success of these efforts has become visible in the amount of refunds accepted during this period. Upto the end of March 31 , 2018 , the refund of Rs 4265 crore and refund of IGST has been approved in refund fortnight so that the total amount has reached Rs 9604 crore. As on January 31 , 2018 , a total of 2,73,017 shipping bills were presented to the exporters for the payment of IGST 

 

4.Easy launch of e-way bill system from 01 April, 2018 :-

Image result for Easy launch of e-wayAccording to the decision of the GST Council, the e-bill system has become mandatory for all inter-state transport of the goods from 01 April , 2018. Under the GST system, the implementation of nationwide e-way bill system is being done by GSTN in collaboration with the National Informatics Center (NIC) and it is being operated on portal https://ewaybillgst.gov.in .

On the first day, over 2.59 lakh e-bills were created on the e-way bill portal. 2 , 04 , 563 e-bills have been created at two o’clock ,Till Last Day.

 

5.SIDBI celebrated its establishment day with the launch of ‘Prosperity – Virtual Assistant’ and ‘Trustworthy Kit’ :-

Related imageSIDBI celebrated its establishment day as a contact, dialogue, security and communication day. Mr. Mohammad Mustafa, Chairman and Managing Director, SIDBI, launched several initiatives from his bank headquarters in Lucknow. 

While launching the revised SIDBI revised website (www.sidbi.in) on this occasion, the CMD said that it is an attempt to envision this site with a new idea so that SIDBI’s new purpose is to bring a comprehensive change in the ecosystem of MSE The vibrant format can be reflected. 

In addition to facilitating accurate information related to various strategic initiatives taken by SIDBI, it shows wide potential for MSME’s aspiring entrepreneurs through its other offer in the form of ‘uninterrupted loan platform’. The ‘uninterrupted loan platform’ is likely to be made accessible on this website soon. SIDBI Chairman  also launched Virtual Assistant ‘Prosperity’ at the banks of the revised loan portal   www.udyamimitra.in . 

This will provide answers to standard questions of aspiring entrepreneurs around the clock portal.

A ‘trusty kit’ (introduced in partnership with Bank of Baroda and IDBI Bank) was also launched. It is an important step beyond financial literacy and is a trusted guide for the aspiring and current entrepreneurs with the aim of becoming aware of the entrepreneurial inherent and bankers and banking. 

 

6.Non subsidy LPG cylinders cost 35 rupees, subsidized cylinders cost only Rs 1.74 :-

Image result for LPGThe price of non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders has been reduced by Rs. 35.50. On the other hand, the price of subsidized cylinders has decreased by merely Rs 1.74. Public sector oil marketing companies have taken this step.

 

7.India, behind China, in education, only 2 institutions in top universities of the world :-

Image result for IIT DelhiIn the top 200 universities of the world, only two institutes of the country, IIT Delhi and Delhi University have managed to make the place. This information comes out in a survey. In a joint study of industry organization Assocham and Yes Institute, it has been said that learning from the top global practice has now become necessary for the country.

In this study, 49 of the US, 30 of the UK, 11 of Germany and 8 and 8 of China and Australia have got place. 

The study said, “Meritorious students go to developed countries for study-research and contribute to intellectual and economic values ​​in other countries. According to an estimate, six lakh Indians are studying abroad and spending more than $ 20 billion (13 trillion rupees) in those countries.

According to the study, only 16 percent Indian companies offer training within the institute, while in China it is 80 percent. 

It said that a very small part of Indian graduation is considered to be worth employment. According to the National Employment Report 2013, in all the academic families, including science-commerce, employment is less than 25 percent.

 

8.Sensex by buying in government banks, Sahara to Nifty, not even broken market after weak foreign signals :-

Image result for SensexOn Tuesday, the Indian stock market is getting sluggish. The main index Sensex is trading 31 points higher at 33286 and the Nifty is trading at 10222 level with 10 points increase. The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.2 per cent and the smallcap was up 5.38 points.

 

9.Technologies stocks in the broken US trump tweet :-

Image result for ट्रंपThe international markets are getting extremely weak signals today. The US stock market has seen tremendous selling on Monday. 

Dow fell 1.90 per cent to 23644, S & P lost 2.23 per cent to 2581, and Nasdaq dropped by 2.74 per cent to 6870 at the end of the day due to the fall in technology shares.

After the decline in the American market, the Asian market started in red marks today. At 8:30 a.m., Japan’s index is trading at Nikkei 0.85 percent decline at 21204 levels. 

Hangsang was down 307 points at 29786 and Shanghai was down by 41 points at 3121 level. Taiwan’s index is trading 15 points and is trading at 2429 level.

 

There were two major reasons behind this huge decline in the US market. A tweet about Amazon from the first U.S. President Donald Trump, in which it has been said that Amazon is misusing US Postal Department. 

After this, the fear of strong action on the Amazon deepened and stocks of all the tech companies including Amazon were broken. Amazon’s stock fell 2.3 percent. Facebook 2.8 percent, NetFlick 5 percent and the Elphower shares closed 2.4 percent down.

On the other side, in response to the import tariff imposed by the US, China imposed 124 products imported from the United States. These two reasons have seen the decline in the US market. The US market was closed on Friday.

The effect of the fall in the US market is seen in Asian markets today. The Singapore Nifty is trading close to the level of weakness of more than 50 points at 10200. 

 

10.Steam train will run again in Delhi under heritage tourism :-

Image result for हेरिटेज टूरिज्मTo revive the old memories of Delhi, the heritage engines will be brought back to the track in the Railway Week Celebration going to be held from April 2 to 16, to resurrect the old memories of Delhi. 

Steam Express will be running between New Delhi and Old Delhi Junction on April 12 and 16.

The railway wants to complete it with the ‘Fairy Queen’, which is the world’s oldest working engine, but if this is not possible it can be completed by Akbar. Akbar has been used in many Hindi hit movies, including films like Sultan, Part Milkha Bhag and Gadar Ek Prem Katha. This coal-fired engine is being manned in Rewari loco shed.
