2.Single Window Hub ‘Environment’ launched for Environment, Forest, Wildlife and CRZ Approvals :-

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched an Environment (active and accountable facility through mutual consultation, quality and environment single window) on the occasion of World Biofuels Day. The environment is a single window facility for integrated environmental management system. Keeping in view the Prime Minister’s Digital India program, this facility has been developed. This includes the minimum government, the spirit of maximum rule.

In a series of tweets, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Dr Harshavardhan highlighted the characteristics of the environment and said that the process of submitting the application and the updated status of the application is automatic. Efforts were made to fulfill the dream of the Prime Minister’s e-Governance through the surroundings. Through the environment, the Ministry of Environment has become a facilitating Ministry, not a regulator. The entire process of submitting applications, monitoring of applications and managing the proposals by the Ministry has been made online for various types of approvals by the Central, State and District level departments (environment, forest, wildlife and coastal area approvals). With the technical support of National Informatics Center (NIC), New Delhi, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has designed and developed this system.

 

3.Indian women released by non-resident husbands was increased to four thousand US dollars: Ministry of External Affairs :-

The Ministry of External Affairs has increased the legal and financial assistance to the Indian women released by non-resident Indian husbands living in 13 countries to four thousand US dollars per woman.

Union Foreign Minister VK Singh gave this information in the Rajya Sabha yesterday. He said that the guidelines for the Indian Community Welfare Fund were amended in September 2017 for this project. Prior to this, the amount was given to the developed countries for three thousand rupees and two thousand US dollars per woman in developing countries.

 

4.Parliament passed the Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribes Prevention Amendment Bill :-

The Parliament has passed the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Bill 2018. The Rajya Sabha passed it vigmatically. The Lok Sabha has already approved it. Its purpose is to give justice to scheduled caste and tribal communities. The amended bill has removed the provision of pre-permission for the arrest of those who tortured the Dalits.
Responding to the discussion on the Bill, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thavarchand Gehlot said that the government is committed to safeguarding the welfare of the poor and the interests of the Dalits. He said that in this bill, provision has been made to make special courts for cases related to atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. They rejected the allegations of the opposition that this bill has been brought under some pressure.
He said that it is being said that the amendment brought in this bill is due to any pressure I am trying to say that when the government was formed, Narendra Modi had said that his government is a dedicated government for the poor, there is a dedicated government for the backward class, which was the pressure at that time.
Earlier, Congress’s Kumari Selja started discussions after the lunch break and accused the BJP of being anti-Dalit.

The International Monetary Fund has said that India’s GDP growth rate is expected to be seven point three percent in 2018-19 and seven decimal five percent in 2019-20. In its latest estimate, Mudra Kosh has said that India’s macroeconomic scenario is broadly suited to it. The fund has said that inflation is expected to go up to five point two percent in the financial year 2018-19. Recently, due to the decline in the price of the rupee, increase in oil prices, house rent allowance and the minimum support price of agriculture, it will be faster.

Now planted plants will be linked to Aadhaar card. The Forest Department of Hisar has made plantations under plantation scheme and made it mandatory to link the base. Students will have to show their Aadhaar card along with planting and plants planted by them will be linked to Aadhaar number.

Planting campaign has been started especially for the students. Under this each child will be given a plant. The child will plant the plant and take care of it. After six months, the information of the plant planted by that child will be taken and if the plant gets properly then the child will get 50 rupees. The forest department will prepare the reports of these plants every six months and send it to the top officials.

Range Forest Officer Pawan Kumar Bhankhar said that under the plantation scheme, the target of distribution of two lakh special varieties of plants to the schools and institutions of Hisar is to be distributed. He said that in the monsoon season every year, the Forest Department distributes millions of plants among the common people to increase greening.

Only about 10 to 20 percent of these plants survive. The rest are destroyed in the absence of care. To stop this, the Aadhaar card numbers are going on from all the institutions and schools, as well as taking pledge from others taking the pledge that they will take proper care of the plants.

9.After PNB, SBI got a huge loss of Rs 4,876 crore in the first quarter, worse than the increase in NPA, balance sheets :-

The country’s largest government bank is not taking the name of NPA (non-performing asset) pressure on the balance sheet of SBI (State Bank of India). Due to rising NPA, SBI has had to bear a loss of Rs 4,876 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. The bank had a net profit of Rs 2,006 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

However, on the basis of quarterly basis, the bank’s deficit has come down. In the last quarter (last quarter of last financial year), the bank had to suffer a loss of Rs 7,718 crore.

 

10.Four years ban on Pakistani cricketer Shahzib :-

An independent court barred Shahjib Hassan from Pakistan’s World Twenty20 champion team for four years instead of one year.

Hassan was banned in February only because he did not provide information about spot-fixing to anti-corruption unit. An independent judge retired Hamid Hussain has accepted Shahjib’s ban for four years by accepting the appeal of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Shahjib is among the six players who were found to be involved in spot-fixing in the Pakistan Super League last year.
