2.Doctors leave PG’s education, fined up to 30 lakhs :-

The government spends billions of rupees on the education of doctors, but after completing their studies, many doctors go to other states, rejecting the mandatory service condition. Formerly there was a mandatory service of one year, which has been increased to three years. In spite of this, the doctors are not keeping the tick and this is causing a loss to the government continuously. There is also a provision of penalties for doing so in the state, but trained doctors get out of the penalties due to the low penalty amount. In order to control this situation, the government is now preparing to recover more fines than doctors. 20 lakh rupees in case of undergraduate leave, then the bond to pay a fine of 30 lakh rupees in case of leaving postgraduate studies, the doctor will now fill the same with the nomination. The Department of Health has sent the cabinet to accept the proposal related to it, with minor modification.

 

3.Facebook announces deploying thousands of people and adopting technical measures to protect the data :-

Image result for FacebookSocial media company Facebook has announced to deploy thousands of people and adopt technical related measures to protect the data keeping in view the forthcoming elections in many countries including India. There was a lot of criticism in the recent past of Facebook due to the rigging of figures by the British company, Cambridge Anilika, related to the election of US President Donald Trump.

 

4.Facebook considered – personal information about users shared with Cambridge analytics :-

Image result for फेसबुक ने माना- कैम्ब्रिज एनालिटिकाFacebook acknowledged that its personal information of 8.7 million users was shared incorrectly with UK company Cambridge Analyca. This figure is much higher than the first public. Facebook’s chief technical officer Mike Schroher said that new measures have been taken for Facebook users in relation to banning private information. Facebook has been under pressure since being aware of the information about stealing personal data by the company working for the promotion of Donald Trump during the US presidential election in 2016. Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg has demanded another opportunity for the social media company- Facebook’s leadership. In a conversation with journalists, Mr Zuckerberg once again admitted to forgiveness and asked him to give another opportunity to lead the company.

 

5.Reserve Bank retains repo rate at 6 percent :-

Image result for Reserve BankIn the first review of monetary policy after the general budget, the Reserve Bank’s Committee has decided not to make any major changes in the policy interest rates. Simultaneously, the central bank’s monetary policy committee (MPC) retained the repo rate at 6 percent. The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), led by Governor Urjit Patel of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), announced this. As per the six-member monetary policy committee, the growth rate is improving and the difference in production is declining. The Reserve Bank has reduced the inflation forecast for the first half of 2018-19 to 4.7-5.1 per cent and for the second half 4.4 per cent. The Reserve Bank has increased the economic growth forecast for 2018-19 to 7.4 percent. It will be 7.3-7.6 in the first half of the year and 7.3-7.6 percent in the second half. It is estimated to be 6.6 percent in the year 2017-18.

 

6.For the farmers who have not been able to repay loans on time, the ‘one time slip program’ :-

7.Virat Kohli second in ICC Test cricket rankings :-

Related imageIndian captain Virat Kohli has taken second position in the ICC Test Cricket Rankings. Cheteshwar Pujara is at seventh place. Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is in fifth place and Ravindra Jadeja is in second place in the all-rounders rankings.

 

8.Commonwealth Games: Weightlifter Chanu, second gold, India bagged 3 medals :-

Related imageIndia is getting a spectacular display in the 21st Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast of Australia. The second gold medal has arrived in India’s bag. India’s star weightlifter Sanjeeeta Chanu has won gold medal in 53kg category. On the first day, Meerabai Chanu of India gave the country the first gold. In the men’s category, Gururaja of India won the Silver Medal. Weightlifter Gururaja Pujari raised 249 kg in a 56 kg category. With this, India has three medals.

 

9.Nirav  Modi in Hong Kong, Government has requested arrest :-

Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha on Thursday: “The Ministry has requested the interim arrest of Neerav Deepak Modi of the Chinese People’s Republic of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In this regard, the request letter was submitted to them on March 23, 2018. ‘ VK Singh said that the Indian Foreign Ministry had already suspended passport of Neerav Modi and Mehul Choksi.

 

10.India, Japan and US agree on expanding contacts and cooperation in the Pacific region :-

Image result for जापान और अमरीकाNinth trilateral meeting between India, Japan and USA was held in New Delhi. It discussed the regional and global issues of mutual interest. The three countries agreed to expand contacts and interact in the Indo-Pacific region. Earlier, on September 18 last year, the Foreign Ministers meeting of the three countries was held in New York on the occasion of the session of the UN General Assembly. According to the instructions received by the Foreign Ministers, the officials considered practical measures to increase cooperation in different areas. Discussions included issues such as communication and infrastructure development, nuclear non-proliferation, dealing with terrorism and maritime security.
