    1.Visit of Goa to President of 7th and 8th July, 2018   :-

    President Shri Ramnath Kovind will visit Goa on July 7 and 8, 2018. His first visit to Goa as President.

    President of Goa University will address the 30th Annual Convocation of the University on July 7, 2018. The President will attend the Citizen Honorary Ceremony given by the State Government in his honor on the same day.

     

    2.Prime Minister addressed the International Conference of Saurashtra Patel cultural society through video conferencing :-

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today addressed the 8th International Conference of Saurashtra Patel cultural society through video conferencing. International conference of Saurashtra Patel cultural society is being held this year in California, USA.

    While appreciating the efforts of the NRIs, especially the Saurashtra Patel community, the Prime Minister said that the NRIs have always made India proud. He said that with the efforts of NRIs, respect for Indian passports has been ensured everywhere.

     

    3.Prime Minister will go to Rajasthan on July 7, 2018 :-

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Jaipur, Rajasthan on July 7, 2018.

    The Prime Minister will see the audio visual presentation of experiences shared by 12 beneficiaries of the Government of India and the Rajasthan Government in the huge public meeting. It will be operated by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mrs Vasundhara Raje.

    Prime Minister will lay the foundation for 13 urban projects costing more than Rs 2100 crores The major ones in these projects are –

     

    Integrated structure package for old Udaipur

    Eleven Road Project for Ajmer

    Water supply and sewerage projects in Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Sikar and Mount Abu.

    Upgradation of STP in Dholpur, Nagaur, Alwar, and Jodhpur.

    Projects under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Bundi, Ajmer and Bikaner district

    Dussehra field (phase-2) quota.

     

    4.East Coast Railway launches the highest-6 limited-height subway (LHS) in the Sambalpur division in one day :-

    For the purpose of eliminating all unmanned railway crossings, the Sambharpur division has launched six limited-height subways in the East Coast Railway and completed it in the short term of four and a half hours on July 5 , 2018. 6 limited-height subway is not only built in the Sambalpur division of East Coast Railway, but it is the first example of its kind in the entire Indian Railways.

    With the launch of 6 limited-height subways, 7 unmanned level crossing gates will be closed in the Bhavnipatna-Langhiad road segment located in Kalahandi area of ​​Odisha.

     

    5.Ministry of Railways approved digital base and driving licenses from digital lockers as proof of the passengers :-

    The Ministry of Railways has reviewed the issue of the base and driving license to be presented as a valid identity proof from the Digital Locker and it has been decided that while traveling in the train, the passenger will travel from the ‘ Issued Document ‘ section of his Digital Locker Account so show based / driving license these identities will be treated as valid evidence, but it is clear that the sender by ‘ uploaded Dokyum Print ” documents uploaded will not be considered valid proof of identity.

    Recognized School / College Photo Identity Card for your students

    Nationalized bank passbook with photo

    Credit cards issued by banks with laminated photos

    State / Central Government Public Sector Institutions, District Administration, Municipality Administration and Panchayat issued photo Id with serial

    In case of reserved tickets booked by computerized passenger reservation system (PRS) centers, photographs of ration cards, photocopies and photographs of nationalized bank will be accepted with photographs for traveling in sleeper and second reserved seating categories.

     

    6.Britain’s High Court gave the banks the option to seize Vijay Mallya’s assets in London :-

    The UK High Court has given Indian banks the option of fugitive Vijay Mallya to search for assets in London and forcibly seize them for the withdrawal of the outstanding amount. According to Justice Byron’s order of 26th of last month, enforcement officers and their agents can enter Mallya’s house in London.

    Mallya is accused of fraud and money laundering of about nine thousand crores. According to the order, the concerned officers can also use force in appropriate proportion when required.

     

    7.ISRO successfully tested the crew rescue system :-

    Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully tested a new crew rescue system developed to evacuate astronauts from emergencies. It is an emergency system that, when the mission fails, astronauts are evacuated from the launch vehicle at a safe distance.

     

    8.Central indirect tax and customs board developed the name of GST Verify Mobile App :-

    Central Indirect Taxes and Customs Boards have developed a mobile app called GST Verify, to protect the interests of consumers. According to a government release, it is an Android app that can be ascertained whether a person taking GST from a consumer is authorized to do so or not. It will also get details of the GST collection company and the person.
