1.केंद्र सरकार ने देश के शहरों में कचरे के समुचित तरीके से प्रबंधन के लिए एक ‘नेबरहुड एक्शन प्लान’ का शुभारम्भ किया है :-
आवास एवं शहरी गरीबी उन्मूलन मंत्री श्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने इस बात जोर देते हुए कि दिल्ली में कचरे की समस्या, जो आनुपातिक रूप से अपने चरम पर पहुंच गई, है, का समुचित हल निकाले बिना देश को साफ-सुथरा नहीं रखा जा सकता।
उन्होंने लोगों में राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के बाशिंदे होने का गर्व-भाव जगाते हुए उन्हें कचरा निष्पादन के प्रभावी व ठोस प्रबंधन में सामूहिक स्तर पर जुटने का आह्वान किया। श्री पुरी ने दक्षिणी एमसीडी द्वारा कूड़ा चुनने/छांटने वाली आयातित आधुनिक मशीन का भी उद्घाटन किया।
Centre to launch Neighborhood Action Plan in cities for better Solid Waste Management :-
Stressing that the country can’t be made clean without fixing the garbage problem in Delhi that has reached crisis proportion, Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs Shri Hardeep Singh Puri invoked the pride of being a resident of the national capital to spur people into collective action for effective solid waste management.
2.‘स्वच्छता ही सेवा है’ अभियान के आठ दिनों बाद अब देश के 201 जिले ओडीएफ (ओपन डिफेक्शन फ्री) हो गए हैं :-
खुले में शौच की बुराई के विरुद्ध पूरे देश में ‘स्वच्छता ही सेवा’ को प्रोत्साहित करने वाला सहयोगी अभियान चलाया गया। इससे ग्रामीण स्वच्छता का दायरा बढ़ाने में महत्त्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि मिली है।
चार और नये जिलों को ओडीएफ घोषित किये जाने के साथ ही देश में ऐसे जिलों की संख्या बढ़कर 201 हो गई है।

Swacchata Hi Seva campaign has fostered collaborations, across the country, to fight against the evils of open defecation. In a major milestone, the rural sanitation coverage has increased with 4 districts being declared ODF taking the total tally to 201.
3.श्री मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने पुड्डुचेरी में “हुनर हाट” का उद्घाटन किया :-
केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्री श्री मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने यहाँ कहा कि अल्पसंख्यक मंत्रालय देश के सभी हिस्सों में “हुनर हब” बनाने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है, जहाँ दस्तकारों, शिल्पकारों को एक ही परिसर में अपनी सामग्री के प्रदर्शन-बिक्री का मौका मिलेगा साथ ही वर्तमान मार्किट के अनुसार उन्हें अपने सामान बनाने का प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जायेगा।

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that Ministry of Minority Affairs is working to establish “Hunar Hub” across the country to provide a platform to master artisans and craftsmen to display as well sell their products.
4.जर्मन चांसलर के रूप में एंजेला मर्केल का चौथा कार्यकाल तय :-
जर्मनी में आम चुनाव के लिए रविवार को वोट डाले गए। इसमें चांसलर एंजेला मर्केल (62) को चौथा कार्यकाल मिलना लगभग तय माना जा रहा है।
एक्जिट पोल नतीजों के मुताबिक उनके गठबंधन ने प्रतिद्वंदी से दो अंकों की बढ़त बना ली है। जबकि 60 साल में पहली बार दक्षिणपंथी और प्रवासी विरोधी पार्टी अल्टरनेटिव फॉर जर्मनी (एएफडी) संसद में पहली सीट हासिल करती हुई दिखाई दे रही है।
Angela Merkel’s fourth term as German Chancellor :-

For the first time in 60 years, the right-wing and anti-migrant party Alternatives for Germany (AFD) appears to be getting the first seat in Parliament.
5.मेक्सिको में फिर हिली धरती, ज्वालामुखी भी सक्रिय :-
पहले से ही भूकंप से बेहाल उत्तर अमेरिकी देश मेक्सिको की धरती शनिवार को फिर से हिली। इस बार 6.2 की तीव्रता के साथ भूकंप आया। इससे जारी राहत कार्य तो प्रभावित हुए ही, जो इमारतें मंगलवार को आए 7.1 तीव्रता वाले भूकंप के चलते कमजोर हो गई थीं, वे भी ढह गईं।
