1.वायु सेना अध्यक्ष की विएतनाम यात्रा :-
वायुसेना अध्यक्ष एयर चीफ मार्शल बीरेन्द्र सिंह धनोवा 30 अक्टूबर से 03 नवम्बर 2017 के दौरान विएतनाम की सरकारी यात्रा पर जाएंगे।
अपनी इस यात्रा के दौरान वे विएतनाम पीपल्स एयर फोर्स और एयर डिफेन्स (वीपीएएफ) के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ वर्तमान भूराजनीतिक परिदृश्य में सुरक्षा चुनौतियों और रक्षा सहयोग बढ़ाने के तौर-तरीकों के बारे में बातचीत करेंगे। उनकी यात्रा का मुख्य लक्ष्य द्विपक्षीय सहयोग बढ़ाना, रक्षा संबंधों को मज़बूत बनाना और दोनों देशों की वायु सेनाओं के बीच रक्षा सहयोग बढ़ाने के उपाय तलाश करना है।
Visit of Chief of the Air Staff to Vietnam :-
Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, Chief of the Air Staff is on an official visit to Vietnam from 30 Oct 17 to 03 Nov 17.
During his visit, he is scheduled to hold bilateral meeting with top brass of the Vietnam People’s Air Force and Air Defence (VPAF) on security challenges in the current geopolitical scenario and explore ways to deepen the defence cooperation further.
The main focus of the visit would be on improving bilateral relations, promoting defence ties and evolving steps to further strengthen defence cooperation between the two Air Forces.
2.रक्षा क्षेत्र में मेक इन इंडिया कार्यक्रम को धार देने के लिए रक्षा मंत्री ने उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधियों से वार्तालाप किया :-
रक्षा मंत्री श्रीमती निर्मला सीता रमण ने रक्षा क्षेत्र में मेक इन इंडिया कार्यक्रम को धार देने के लिए एक राउंड टेबल बैठक में भारतीय उद्योग परिसंघ (सीआईआई) के प्रतिनिधियों से वार्तालाप किया, जिनमें भारतीय कंपनियों और विदेशी कंपनियों के प्रतिनिधि शामिल थे।
वर्तमान सरकार ने रक्षा उत्पादन नीति-2016 लागू करने सहित अनेक महत्वपूर्ण नीतिगत उपाय किए हैं। इस नीति में अन्य बातों के अलावा रक्षा साजोसामान के डिजाइन और विर्माण में स्वदेशी को बढ़ावा दिया गया है।
Defense Minister interacted with industry representatives to sharpen the make in India program in defense sector :-
Defense Minister Smt. Nirmala Sita Raman held talks with the representatives of Indian Industry Confederation (CII) in a roundtable meeting to induce the Make in India program in the defense sector, which included representatives of Indian companies and foreign companies.
The present government has taken several important policy measures including implementing the Defense Production Policy-2016. In this policy, besides individually, indigenous has been promoted in the design and production of defense equipment.
3.श्री नितिन गडकरी ने चेन्नई बंदरगाह से बांग्लादेश में मोंगला बंदरगाह के लिए ट्रकवाहक पोत रोरो को डिजिटल रूप में झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया :-
जहाजरानी, सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग तथा जल संसाधन, नदी विकास और गंगा जीर्णोद्धार मंत्री श्री नितिन गडकरी ने चेन्नडई बंदरगाह से बांग्लालदेश में मोंगला बंदरगाह के लिए एक रोरो-एवं-सामान्यो माल वाहक पोत एम वी आईडीएम डूडल को 185 ट्रकों की खेप के साथ डिजिटली झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया, जिसमें लादे गए।
इस अवसर पर श्री गडकरी ने कहा कि ये ट्रक मैसर्स अशोक लेलैंड द्वारा निर्यात किए जा रहे हैं, जो अभी तक सड़क मार्ग से भेजे जा रहे थे और जिससे करीब 1500 कि.मी. का सफर तय करना पड़ता था। समुद्री मार्ग से इस सफर में करीब 15 से 20 दिन की बचत होगी।
समुद्री मार्ग से परिवहन के कारण भारत-बांग्ला देश सीमा पर पेट्रापोल-बेनापोल चेक प्वाडइंट पर वाहनों की भीड़ से बचा जा सकेगा। तटीय परिवहन से समय की बचत के साथ ही लागत में भी कमी आती है और यह पर्यावरण के अनुकूल भी है।

4.भारत के साथ रक्षा सहयोग पर आगे बढ़ने को अमेरिका तैयार :-
भारत के साथ रक्षा संबंधी सहयोग को लेकर अमेरिका उत्सुक है। अमेरिका रक्षा समझौतों पर आगे बढ़ना चाहता है, जिससे भारत को गोपनीय जानकारियों के साथ एफ-16 व एफ-18 जैसे विमान भी मुहैया कराए जा सके। ट्रंप प्रशासन ने गत महीने संसद में भारत को युद्धक विमान बेचे जाने का जोरदार समर्थन किया था। साथ ही कहा था कि इस तरह के प्रस्तावों से रक्षा क्षेत्र में भारत-अमेरिकी संबंध नई ऊंचाइयों पर जाएंगे।
अमेरिका की कार्यवाहक सहायक विदेश मंत्री (दक्षिण व मध्य एशिया मामले) एलिस जी. वेल्स ने कहा कि दोनों देशों के बीच कई अहम रक्षा समझौते हैं।
America is ready to move forward on defense cooperation with India :-
PTI America is keen on defense-related cooperation with India. The US wants to move forward on defense agreements, allowing India to provide aircraft such as F-16 and F-18 with confidential information.
The Trump Administration strongly supported the sale of combat aircraft to India in Parliament last month. It was also said that with such proposals, Indo-US relations in the defense sector would go to new heights.
America’s acting Assistant Secretary of State (South and Central Asia Affairs) Alice G. Wells said there were several important defense agreements between the two countries.
5.बिल गेट्स को पछाड़ जेफ बेजोस बने दुनिया के सबसे अमीर आदमी :-
शुक्रवार की सुबह अमेजन के शेयर गुरुवार की क्लोजिंग के मुकाबले 8 फीसद के उछाल के साथ खुले। इस बढ़त ने कंपनी के प्रमुख जेफ बेजोस की नेट वर्थ में 7 बिलियन डॉलर का इजाफा कर दिया।
लेकिन वहीं दूसरी तरफ माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के शेयर्स में 7 फीसद का ही इजाफा हुआ, जिसके कारण जेफ बिल गेट्स को पछाड़कर एक बार फिर से दुनिया के सबसे अमीर व्यक्ति बन गए हैं।
शुक्रवार को कारोबार की शुरुआत में बेजोस की नेट वर्थ 89.7 बिलियन डॉलर थी, जबकि गेट्स की नेटवर्थ 90.1 बिलियन डॉलर थी, जिसमें बीते दिन 550 मिलियन डॉलर का इजाफा हुआ था।
लेकिन सुबह 10:15 बजते ही अमेजन के शेयर 2 फीसद उछल गए जिसने बेजोस की नेट वर्थ में 900 मिलियन डॉलर का इजाफा कर दिया।
इसके साथ ही वो 90.6 बिलियन डॉलर की नेट वर्थ के साथ दुनिया के नंबर एक अमीर शख्स बन गए जबकि बिल गेट्स को 90.1 बिलियन डॉलर के साथ दूसरे पायदान पर संतोष करना पड़ा।
Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man, surpasses Bill Gates :-
On Friday morning, Amazon shares open with a bounce of 8 percent against Thursday’s closing. This increase added $ 7 billion in the net worth of the company’s head Jeff Bezos. But on the other hand, Microsoft’s shares increased by just 7 percent, due to which Jeff became the richest person in the world once again, surpassing Bill Gates.
At the beginning of the business, Bezos had a net worth of $ 89.7 billion, while Gates’ net worth was $ 90.1 billion, up from $ 550 million last year.
But in the morning at 10:15 am, Amazon’s stock jumped 2 percent, which added $ 900 million in net worth of Bezos. Along with that, he became the world’s richest person with a net worth of $ 90.6 billion, while Bill Gates had to settle for second place with $ 90.1 billion.
