1.हॉकी टूर्नामेंट: ओएनजीसी ने मुरुगप्पा गोल्ड कप जीता :-
तेल और प्राकृतिक गैस निगम (ओएनजीसी) ने फाइनल में बेंगलुरु हॉकी संघ (बीएएचए) को 4-2 से पराजित कर 91वीं अखिल भारतीय एमसीसी-मुरुगप्पा गोल्ड कप हॉकी टूर्नामेंट में जीत लिया।
यह मेयर राधाकृष्णन स्टेडियम, एग्मोर चेन्नई में आयोजित किया गया था।
ओएनजीसी टीम को 5,00,000 रूपए पुरस्कार राशि मिली जबकि बीएचए को 2.5 लाख रुपये मिले। मुरुगप्पा समूह के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष ए वेल्ल्यान द्वाराने एमसीसी अध्यक्ष श्रीवास्तसन सुब्रमण्यम की मौजूदगी में पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया।
Hockey tournament: ONGC wins Murugappa Gold Cup :-
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has beaten Bengaluru Hockey Association (BHA) by 4-2 in the final in 91st All-India MCC-Murugappa Gold Cup hockey tournament.
It was held at Mayor Radhakrishnan stadium , Egmore Chennai.
The ONGC team received Rs 5, 00,000 prize money while BHA got Rs 2.5 lakh. Murugappa Group executive chairman A Vellayan gave away the prizes in the presence of MCC president Srivatsan Subramaniyam.
2.पुलिस अनुसंधान ब्यूरो में एनसीआरबी का विलय :-
सरकार ने राष्ट्रीय अपराध रिकॉर्ड ब्यूरो (एनसीआरबी) जो वर्षों से, नीति निर्माताओं, पुलिस, अपराधविज्ञानी, शोधकर्ताओं और मीडिया के लिए भारत और विदेश में मुख्य स्रोत रहा है, का पुलिस अनुसंधान ब्यूरो विकास (बीपीआर और डी) के साथ विलय कर दिया है।
गृह मामलों के मंत्रालय ने बीपीआर और डी के महानिदेशक के तहत एनसीआरबी के कार्य को रखने का आदेश जारी किया, जो अब भारत में अपराध, दुर्घटना मृत्यु और आत्महत्या, जेल सांख्यिकी और फिंगरप्रिंट से संबंधित सभी डेटा संग्रह की देखरेख करेगा।
विलय के पश्चात एनसीआरबी के निदेशक और उसके सभी कर्मचारियों बीएपीआरएंडडी के डीजी मीरा सी बोरवणकर को रिपोर्ट करेंगे लेकिन दोनों निकायों के प्रशासनिक मामलों को सीधे गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा ही संभाला जाएगा।
NCRB merged with bureau of police research :-
The government merged the National Crimes Records Bureau (NCRB) – which, over the years, has been the principal source of reference by policy makers, police, criminologists, researchers and media – both in India and abroad, with the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D).
The ministry of home affairs issued an order placing NCRB’s functions under the Director General of BPR&D, who will now oversee all the data collection related to Crime in India, Accidental Deaths and Suicides, Prison Statistics and Fingerprints.
The merger means that the Director NCRB and all its staff will now report to Meera C Borwankar, DG of BPR&D but administrative matters of both the bodies will be handled directly by home ministry itself.
- एस अपर्णा विश्व बैंक की कार्यकारी निदेशक नियुक्त :-
गुजरात केडर के आईएएस अधिकारी एस अपर्णा को तीन साल तक भारत, बांग्लादेश, भूटान और श्रीलंका के निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए कार्यकारी निदेशक,विश्व बैंक नियुक्त किया गया है।
1988 बैच के आईएएस, वह वर्तमान में गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर प्रधान सचिव विजय रूपानी हैं। विश्व बैंक में, वह सुभाष गर्ग की जगह लेंगे, जिन्हें हाल ही में आर्थिक मामलों के सचिव, वित्त मंत्रालय में नियुक्त किया गया था।
- Aparna appointed as Executive Director of World Bank :-
- Aparna, an IAS officer from Gujarat cadre has been appointed as Executive Director, World Bank to represent the constituency of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka for three years.
A 1988-batch IAS, she is currently Principal Secretary to Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. At the World Bank, she will replace Subhash Garg, who was recently appointed Economic Affairs Secretary, Ministry of Finance.
4.आईआईएससी ने विकसित किया लागत वाला संवेदनशील कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड सेंसर :-
इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ साइंस शोधकर्ताओं ने अभिनव फैब्रिकेशन तकनीक का प्रयोग कर एक अत्यधिक संवेदनशील नैनोमीटर-स्तरीय कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड सेंसर विकसित किया है।
आमतौर पर, एक सेंसर एक पतली, विद्युत्वाहक प्लेट होगी जिसका प्रतिरोध कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड के संपर्क में बदलेगा। इसके माध्यम से इसके विद्युत् प्रवाह के मूल्य में परिवर्तन होगा। इस परिवर्तन जब मापा जाता है, तो हवा में कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड के स्तर को इंगित करता है।
Low-cost, sensitive CO sensor from IISc :-
Indian Institute of Science researchers have developed a highly sensitive nanometer-scale carbon monoxide sensor by employing an innovative fabrication technique.
Typically, a sensor would be a thin, current carrying plate whose resistance changes on exposure to carbon monoxide. This in turn changes the value of the current flowing through it. This change when measured indicates the level of carbon monoxide in the air.
- सरकार ने डब्ल्यूटीओ टीएफए के सुचारू कार्यान्वयन के लिए कार्ययोजना बनाई :-
सरकार ने विश्व व्यापार संगठन के व्यापार सुविधा समझौते (टीएफए) के सुचारू रूप से कार्यान्वयन के लिए एक विस्तृत कार्य योजना तैयार की है।
भारत सहित विश्व व्यापार संगठन (डब्ल्यूटीओ) के सदस्य ने टीएफए को मंजूरी दे दी है, जिसका उद्देश्य सीमा शुल्क प्रक्रियाओं को आसान बनाना, निर्यात एवं खेप में लगने वाले समय को कम करना है। समझौते के कार्यान्वयन के लिए, सरकार ने पिछले साल सेब्रिड फैसिलिटेशन (एनसीटीएफ) पर कैबिनेट सचिव की अध्यक्षता वाली राष्ट्रीय समिति की स्थापना की है।
Government forms action plan for easy execution of WTO’s TFA :-
The government has formulated a detailed action plan with timelines for smooth implementation of WTO’s trade facilitation agreement (TFA).
Members of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) including India has ratified TFA, which aims at easing customs procedures, expediting movement, release and clearance of consignments. For the implementation of the pact, the government has last year set up Cabinet Secretary-headed National Committee on Trade Facilitation (NCTF).

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) द्वारा 2013 में इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) मैच के दौरान स्पॉट फिक्सिंग में शामिल होने का आरोप लगाते हुए लगाया गया था।
दिल्ली सत्र अदालत द्वारा जुलाई 2015 में आरोपमुक्त होने के बावजूद भी बीसीसीआई ने प्रतिबंध जारी रखा था।
2013 में, श्रीसंत ने इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग में स्पॉट-फिक्सिंग के मुद्दे पर आरोपों का सामना किया था और इसलिए साथी क्रिकेटर्स अजीत चंदिला और अंकित चव्हाण के साथ साथ उनपर भी स्पॉट फिक्सिंग का आरोप लगाया गया था।
BCCI ordered to lift lifetime ban on cricketer Sreesanth by Kerela HC :-
The Kerala High Court on Monday set aside the lifetime ban imposed on cricketer S Sreesanth by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) alleging engagement in spot-fixing during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match in 2013.
BCCI had continued with the ban despite a Delhi sessions court exonerating him in July 2015.
In 2013, Sreesanth faced allegations on spot-fixing issues in the Indian Premier League and was hence charged with the same alongside fellow cricketers Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan.
7.केंद्र ने खसरा–रूबेला टीकाकरण अभियान का पहला चरण पूरा किया :-
स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय ने मेसल्स-रूबेला टीकाकरण अभियान का पहला चरण पूरा कर लिया है – यह दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा टीकाकरण अभियान है जिसमें लगभग 41 करोड़ बच्चों को शामिल करने का लक्ष्य है।
भारत ने दस अन्य डब्ल्यूएचओ दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया क्षेत्र सदस्य देशों के साथ, 2020 तक खसरे को खत्म करने रूबेला / जन्मजात रूबेला सिंड्रोम (सीआरएस) को नियंत्रित करने का संकल्प किया है। खसरा-रूबेला (एमआर) टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत, 9 महीने से 15 साल से कम आयु वर्ग के सभी बच्चों का देश भर में चरणबद्ध तरीके से के टीकाकरण किया जाएगा।
Centre completes first phase of measles-rubella vaccination campaign :-
Ministry of health and family welfare has completed the first phase of the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign – the largest ever vaccination campaign in the world aiming to cover approximately 41 crore children.
India, along with ten other WHO South East Asia Region member countries, have resolved to eliminate measles and control rubella/congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) by 2020. Under the measles-rubella (MR) vaccination campaign, all children in the age group of 9 months to less than 15 years will be vaccinated in a phased manner across the nation.
