1.China makes world’s 1st armored amphibious drone boat:-

China has successfully tested the world’s first armed amphibious drone boat.It is capable of forming a combat triad with aerial drones and other drone ships.Built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group under China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, the drone ship is named asMarine Lizard.Having a maximum operation range of 1,200 kms, the Marine Lizard can be remotely controlled via satellites.

2.Home Expo India 2019 begins:-

The 8th edition of Home Expo India 2019 began at India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.It covers sectors with maximum thrust and growth potential in home decor, furnishing, furniture, flooring and textiles.About 500 companies in permanent marts will be exhibiting their collection under these categories. The three-day exhibition has been organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts.

3.The New York Times, Wall Street Journal awarded Pulitzer Prizes:-

The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal were awarded Pulitzer Prizes for their separate investigations of President Donald Trump and his family.The South Florida Sun Sentinel won the Pulitzer for public service for its coverage of failings by school and law enforcement officials before and after the February 2018 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.The Associated Press won a Pulitzer for international reporting for its coverage of the war in Yemen.Reuters was honoured for international reporting for its coverage of atrocities committed against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.The Pulitzer Prize is an award for achievements in newspaper, magazine and online journalism.Each winner receives a certificate and a US$15,000 cash award.

4.These are the ten tallest buildings in India, there are only nine buildings in Mumbai:-

Forest Avignana Park is currently one of the fourth tallest buildings in the country. Its height is 247 meters (810 feet). Completely Residential This building has 61 floors. It is situated in Mumbai’s Lovre Parel. This luxury residential tower has won many awards. This building was completed in 2017.

Lodha Altamount is among the fifth tallest buildings in the country. It is also located in Mumbai. Its height is about 240 meters (787 feet). Let us know that Altamount Road is counted in the world’s tenth most expensive streets. The 40-storey house is also home to Mukesh Ambani and Kumaramangalam Birla. This building was completed in 2018.

Lodha Bellissimo Tower is also in Mumbai and it is near the tenth largest building of the country. It is about 197.5 meters (648 feet) high. This 53-storey building was completed in 2012.

6.Mahavir Jayanti is being celebrated with the traditional enthusiasm in the country:-

24th and the last Jain Tirthankar Lord Mahavir’s birth anniversary is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. This day is one of the most sacred days for the people of Jain religion. The followers of Lord Mahavira celebrate this festival by offering prayers , offerings and participating in the chariot procession.President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu have greeted the people on this occasion.

In one of his messages , President Shri Ram Nath Kovind said that the message of Lord Mahavir’s peace and non-violence has enriched our cultural heritage. They said , on this auspicious day , people should make continuous efforts for our country and for the sake of harmony in our country.Meanwhile, Vice President said in his message , that Lord Mahavira non-violence , truth and universal compassion messages to illuminate the path of righteousness and honesty. Mr. Naidu said , His teachings are universal and are therefore relevant to the whole world.

7.Measles growing at 300 per cent – WHO:-

The work is done to control the disease of measles all over the world. But recently reported that the World Health Organization , the statistics are startling. World Health Organization ( WHO) said on Monday that measles cases have increased by 300 percent in the first three months of 2019 compared to the same period last year .The WHO said that concern over the effect of vaccination anti-stigma increases. Highly infectious measles can be completely prevented by two vaccine vaccines. But the rate of vaccination continues to decline in the world , with which the WHO has issued a warning in recent months .The WHO said in a statement , ” According to the initial global data, in the first three months of 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 , measles cases have registered an increase of 300 %. It has been steadily increasing for the last two years. ‘The organization further said ,’ However , this data is temporary and not yet complete , but it indicates a clear trend. In many countries, it has spread very rapidly , whereas in almost all countries, it has shown growth. ‘

8.Historic Mujibnagar day being observed today in Bangladesh:-

In Bangladesh, the historic Mujibnagar day is being observed. The day marks the oath taking ceremony of Bangladesh’s first government in 1971 at Baidyanathtala in Meherpur.The day is being observed by political parties and social and cultural organisations through various programs across Bangladesh.In Dhaka, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister of Bangladesh Obaidul Quader placed a wreath at portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi.In his message on the occasion President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid recalled the support and cooperation of the world community to the liberation struggle of Bangladesh.Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina in her message has urged the people of the country to engage themselves in building Bangladesh, to make it free of hunger, poverty, and illiteracy as dreamt of by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.On this day in 1971, senior leaders of the liberation movement of Bangladesh had  assembled at Baidyanathtala to form the provisional government of independent Bangladesh.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was declared the President in absentia as he was arrested and flown to Pakistan after the Pakistan military crackdown on the then ‘East Pakistan’ on the night of March 25, 1971.

9.Mithali becomes Team India’s Goodwill Ambassador in Street Child World Cup:-

Captain of Indian women’s ODI team Mithali Raj has been named as Team India’s Goodwill Ambassador in the Street Child Cricket World Cup. Mithali will support the Indian team in collaboration with former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly and Rajasthan Royals. The Street Child Cricket World Cup will be held in May this year just before the ICC Cricket World Cup. Earlier , PTC India Financial Services Limited has also announced its support to the team.

10.Stock market created new record:-

Between positive signals from foreign markets, the domestic stock market reached new record levels on Tuesday by tremendous buying in banking and financial and auto sector companies. The BSE 30-share Sensex climbed 369.80 points , or 0.95 percent , to close at record levels of 39 , 275.64. After opening with the strength of 134.46 points compared to Monday, it touched the record high of 39 , 364.34 , at one time in the middle of the business . Its lower level of day was 39 , 038.81. National Stock Exchange index Nifty 11 rose by 35.85 points , the first 11 with the end of the open and traded at 736.20 points , has reached a record high so far of 810.95 points. Finally, it rose by 96.80 points i.e. 0.83 percent to 11 ,Closed at 787.15. Its lowest level of day was recorded at 11 , 731.55. Investors’ confidence in the median and small companies is relatively low. The BSE Mid-cap climbed 0.12 percent to 15 , 521 points and Smallcap moved up 0.37 percent to 15 , 171.71 points. The market sentiment was so strong that shares of 27 of the 30 companies in the Sensex were in green mark. IndusInd Bank has the highest growth of 4 percent. ICICI Bank’s shares rose by 3.5 per cent and ONGC by 2.5 per cent. The power grid has dropped by more than half a percent. Of the 50 Nifty companies, 36 were in the downturn and 13 declined, while the shares of one remained unchanged.
