1.Elections to be held in Kenya for President :-
There will be re-election for the Presidential position in Kenya. The country’s election commission has announced this. President Uhuru Kenyatta won the election for the second term in August, but due to the complaints of irregularities, the elections are being held again. They have appealed to the peace and prosperity of the people of Kenya.
2.Court bails warrant against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif :-
A Accountability Court in Pakistan issued bail warrants today in two cases on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. This court is hearing corruption cases against the Nawaz Sharif family.
In two of the two cases where bail warrants have been issued on Nawaz Sharif, one relates to the flagship investment and the other is related to Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Hill Metal Stabilitation.
The court has adjourned the hearing on the third case related to Avonfield till November 3.
A five-member bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan directed the trial court to decide on these matters in six months.
3.Tokyo International Film Festival Opening :-
Tokyo International Film Festival, one of Asia’s largest film festivals, has begun in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday. Actors and directors from Japan and abroad come to the venue, giving their autographs and autographs towards their fans.
There were more than 1.5 thousand entries from 88 countries and regions for the competition category.
Of these, 15 have been selected for the competition of the highest Tokyo Gram Prize Prize.
More than 200 films will be shown in the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival which will last till November 3.
4.Chhath festival celebrated with religious excitement and glee :-
Chhath festival is celebrated on Thursday with traditional religious zeal and glee.

5.Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh :-
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday.
The meeting is being considered as very important after the appointment of a special representative of the government to former chief of Dineshwar Sharma for the interaction with all the parties in the state.
After the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the situation in the state is improved and violent incidents have decreased considerably.
Ms. Mehbooba said that a package of Rs. Eight thousand crore rupees for the state declared by the Prime Minister in 2015 was also widely discussed.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs and officials of Jammu and Kashmir government were present in the meeting.
There was a 15-minute interaction between Shri Rajnath Singh and Ms. Mehbooba.
6.Government will invest 40 billion dollars on gas exploration and production :-
Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the government will invest $ 40 billion on gas exploration and production.
He was speaking in a session on Thursday about opportunities in India’s energy and power sector in Mumbai.
They highlighted the rising demand of oil and gas and said that they will have an important role in India’s growth rate.
Mr. Pradhan also informed about 61 new areas of oil detected.
7.Reserve Bank of India Governor Urjit Patel welcomes government’s decision :-

8.Registrar cancels to migrate to GST :-
The facilitators of migrating to GST have been given the facility of canceling registration. GST Network CEO Prakash Kumar said that this facility has started on Wednesday.
He told that if a trader with a turnover of Rs 20 lakh per annum has not issued any tax invoice he can cancel his registration on the portal. For this, go to the REG-29 option in the profile section.
Significantly, about one crore businessmen are currently registered in GST. Of these, 72 lakhs have been migrated from the old system.
These were first registered in excise, service tax or VAT. About 5 million businessmen are filing returns every month.
9.Stock market crosses 33 thousand :-
The index of the Bombay Stock Exchange crossed the 33,000 mark for the first time. It was at 33 thousand 117 in the morning’s business, but later it declined a bit. Shortly before, it was at 33 thousand two with an increase of 394 points.
