1.मालदीव में व्यापक विरोध प्रदर्शन और जेल में बंद पूर्व राष्ट्रपति मामून अब्दुल गयूम के जांच में सहयोग से इनकार के बाद राजनीतिक अस्थिरता बढ़ी :-
मालदीव में आपातकाल लागू होने के बावजूद देश भर में व्यापक विरोध प्रदर्शन हो रहे हैं। विपक्ष समर्थक प्रदर्शनकारी राष्ट्रपति यामीन अब्दुल गयूम के त्यागपत्र और उनके राजनीतिक प्रतिद्वंद्वियों की जेल से रिहाई की मांग कर रहे हैं। प्रदर्शनकारियों को तितर-बितर करने के लिए पुलिस कार्रवाई में कई लोग घायल हो गये और कइयों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। मालदीव में पहली फरवरी से राजनीतिक उथल-पुथल जारी है। पूर्व राष्ट्रपति मौमून अब्दुल गयूम ने जांच प्रक्रिया को गैर-कानूनी बताते हुए जांच में सहयोग से इंकार किया है। वह आपातकाल लगाये जाने के बाद पांच फरवरी से पुलिस हिरासत में हैं। इस बीच, पूर्व राष्ट्रपति मोहम्मद नशीद ने शुक्रवार को विपक्षी कार्यकर्ताओं और पत्रकारों पर पुलिस कार्रवाई की कड़ी निंदा की है।
The political instability increased after the protests in Maldives and denial of cooperation in the investigation of former President Mamun Abdul Gayoom in prison :-
Despite the imposition of the Emergency in Maldives, there are widespread protests across the country. Opposition pro-protesters are demanding release of President Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s resignation and his political rivals from jail. To disperse the protesters, many people were injured in the police action and many were arrested. Political upheaval continues in Maldives since February 1st. Former President Mamun Abdul Gayoom has denied the investigation process as illegal and denied cooperation in the investigation. After the Emergency was imposed, the police are in custody from February 5. Meanwhile, former President Mohammed Nasheed strongly condemned the police action on opposition activists and journalists on Friday.
2.वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली भारत-सऊदी अरब संयुक्त आयोग की बारहवीं बैठक में भाग लेने के लिये रियाद पहुंचे :-
वित्त मंत्री अरूण जेटली दो दिन की सऊदी अरब यात्रा पर शनिवार की रात रियाद पहुंचे श्री जेटली राजधानी रियाद में भारत-सऊदी अरब संयुक्त आयोग की 12वीं बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता करेंगे। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया है कि श्री जेटली सऊदी राष्ट्रीय विरासत और सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव-जनाद्रिया में भारतीय मंडप भी जायेंगे।
अपने दो दिवसीय दौरे पर वित्तमंत्री अरुण जेटली न केवल बारहवीं भारत, सऊदी अरब संयुक्त आयोग की बैठक का अध्यक्षता करेंगे बल्कि सऊदी भारतीय व्यापार परिषद का औपचारिक उद्घाटन भी करेंगे। कल शाम स्वदेश वापसी के पहले वित्तमंत्री श्री जेटली अन्य वरिष्ठ नेताओं से मुलाकात के साथ-साथ सऊदी के व्यापार और निवेश मंत्री मजीद-अल-कसाबी से मिलेंगे और आपसी हित के द्विपक्षीय मुद्दों पर भी चर्चा करेंगे।
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley arrives in Riyadh to attend the twelfth meeting of India-Saudi Arabia Joint Commission :-
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who arrived in Riyadh on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, Mr. Jaitley co-chaired the 12th meeting of the Indo-Saudi Arab Joint Commission in the capital Riyadh . Our correspondent has said that Shri Jaitley will also visit the Indian Pavilion in the Saudi National Heritage and Cultural Festival- Janadriya.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley not only will chair the meeting of Twelfth India, Saudi Arabia Joint Commission, but also formally inaugurate the Saudi Indian Business Council on his two-day tour. Before returning home last evening, Finance Minister Shri Jaitley will meet other senior leaders as well as meet Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment Minister Majid Al-Kasabi and discuss bilateral issues of mutual interest.
3.श्रीलंका के प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि वह इस्तीफा नहीं देंगे :-
श्रीलंका के प्रधान मंत्री रानिल विक्रमसिंघे ने जोर देकर कहा है कि वो विपक्षी पार्टियों के दबाव में आकर इस्तीफा नहीं देंगे। वह कल कोलंबो में मीडिया को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उनकी टिप्पणियां इसलिए महत्त्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि पिछले हफ्ते स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों केबाद दो मुख्य पार्टियों अलग हो गई और दोनों ने अपनी सरकार बनाने का दावा किया है। इस बीच, संयुक्त पीपुल्स फ्रीडम अलायंस (यूपीएफए) बनाने के लिए चर्चा तेज हो गयी है और एक समिति का गठन का गठन किया गया है। एक गुट का नेतृत्व वर्तमान राष्ट्रपति मैत्री पला सिरीसेना और दूसरे का पूर्व राष्ट्रपति महिंदा राजपक्षे कर रहे हैं।
Sri Lankan Prime Minister said he will not resign :-
Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Vikramsinghe has stressed that he will not resign after the pressure of opposition parties. He was addressing the media in Colombo yesterday. His remarks are important because after the local body elections last week, two main parties got separated and the two claimed to form their own government. Meanwhile, discussions have been made to form the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPAFA) and a committee has been constituted. One faction is led by current President Maitri Pala Sirisena and the other is former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने मुम्बई में कई परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किया। श्री मोदी ने सबसे पहले नवी मुम्बई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे का शिलान्यास किया। इस हवाई अड्डे में दो समानांतर हवाई पट्टियां होगी। छत्रपति शिवाजी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर एक ही हवाई पट्टी है। श्री मोदी जवाहर लाल नेहरू पोर्ट कंटेनर – जेएनपीटी पर चौथा कंटेनर टर्मिनल देश को समर्पित किया। बाद में वे मेग्नेटिक महाराष्ट्र सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन करेंगे।

5.भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने नगालैंड विधानसभा चुनाव घोषणापत्र जारी किया :-
भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने नगालैंड विधानसभा चुनाव घोषणापत्र जारी कर दिया है। केन्द्रीय मंत्रियों सहित पार्टी के प्रमुख प्रचारक राज्य का दौरा कर रहे हैं। कांग्रेस का चुनावी घोषणापत्र भी एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में जारी किया गया। इस महीने नगालैंड में 27 तारीख को मतदान होगा।
नगालैंड में चुनाव प्रचार धीरे-धीरे जोर पकड़ रहा है। निर्दलीय उम्मीदवारों सहित चुनाव में हिस्सा ले रहे सभी नौ राजनीतिक दलों के उम्मीदवार लोगों से अपना बहुमूल्य मत देकर जनादेश अपनी ओर करने के लिए रैलियां कर रहे हैं। रियो के नेतृत्व वाली राष्ट्रीय लोकतांत्रिक प्रगतिशील पार्टी के नेता भी सभी जिलों में बैठक कर रहे हैं। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री नेफियू एनडीडीपी पार्टी के सदस्य के रूप में राज्य विधानसभा के लिए पहले ही निर्विरोध चुने जा चुके हैं।
Bharatiya Janata Party released Nagaland assembly election manifesto :-
The Bharatiya Janata Party has issued Nagaland assembly election manifesto. Chief Ministers of the party, including the Union Ministers, are visiting the state. Congress election manifesto was also released in a press conference. Polling will be held in Nagaland on 27th of this month.
Election campaign in Nagaland is slowly catching up. Candidates from all the nine political parties, who are participating in the elections, including independent candidates, are making rallies to make the mandate towards him by giving their valuable votes. The Leo-led National Democratic Progressive Party leaders are also meeting in all the districts. As a member of the former Chief Minister Nafiyu NDDP party, the state assembly has already been elected uncontested.
6.तिब्बत स्थित प्राचीन बौद्ध मंदिर में भीषण आग लगी :-
तिब्बत स्थित बौद्धों के सबसे पवित्र मंदिरों में से एक जोखांग मंदिर में भीषण आग लग गयी। राजधानी लहासा स्थित 1,300 साल से ज्यादा पुराना यह मंदिर यूनेस्को के विश्व विरासत स्थलों में शामिल है। सरकारी संवाद समिति शिन्हुआ की खबर के अनुसार, किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है। हालांकि ख़बर में मंदिर को पहुंचे नुकसान के संबंध में कोई सूचना नहीं दी गयी है। ख़बर के अनुसार, आग शाम करीब छह बजकर चालीस मिनट पर लगी, हालांकि उसपर जल्दी ही काबू पा लिया गया। सरकारी अख़बार चाइना डेली ने विस्तृत जानकारी दिये बगैर अपनी ख़बर में लिखा है कि दमकल कर्मियों ने आग पर काबू पा लिया है और सभी धार्मिक प्रतीक सुरक्षित हैं।
Terror in ancient Buddhist temple :-

However, no information has been given regarding damage to the temple in the news.
