1.Goa will be developed as a cargo hub – Suresh Prabhu  :-

Image result for विमानन मंत्री श्री सुरेश प्रभुUnion Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Suresh Prabhu said that the Central Government is trying to develop Goa as a tourist destination and a cargo hub through the state government and private partners. He is addressing the media at Dabolim airport after monitoring the rehabilitation and repair works. On this occasion, Shri Shripad Naik, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Union Ministry of State for Health, Shri Vijay Sirdesai, Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr. Rohan Khante and Minister of Transportation Mr. Sudin Runlikar were also present. Mopa Airport operation will start from September 2020. Mr. Prabhu said that Dabolim Airport with Mopa will also be in operation.

The work of revitalization and repair works at Dabolim airport at a cost of 300 crores. New multi-level parking complex will be started by July.

 

2.India signed a $ 48 million loan agreement with the World Bank for the Meghalaya Community-Lead Landscape Management Project  :-

Image result for World BankIndia today signed a loan agreement with the World Bank for the USD 48 million IBRD loan for the Meghalaya Community-Lead Landscape Management Project. On behalf of the Government of India, the loan agreement was signed by Joint Secretary (MI), Department of Economic Affairs, Shri Sameer Kumar Khare and World Bank’s Mr. Hisham A Abdo Saman, Acting Country Director, World Bank (India). Shri P. Sampat Kumar, Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Commissioner of Meghalaya, Meghal Basin Development Authority (MBDA) and Mr. Hisham A Abdo Saman, Acting Country Director, World Bank (India) signed a project agreement.

The purpose of this project is to strengthen the management of community-led landscapes in select lands in the state of Meghalaya. Three components of the project are- 1) Knowledge and capacity building for natural resource management. 2) Community driven land planning and implementation and 3) Project management and administration.

 

3.Indian Space Research Organization – ISRO successfully set up IRNS – One Eye Directional Satellite in the classroom :-

Image result for ISROIndian Space Research Organization – ISRO successfully set up the IRNS-ONE ii direction satellite successfully in the fourth and last attempt in the last night. The third attempt was made on Saturday. Indian Regional Directional Satellite System NS-I One is the eighth and final satellite of this series. The complete indigenously built directional satellite will get information from the right position. This satellite was launched from Sriharikota on Thursday from the PSLV-41 41 launch vehicle.

 

4.President Ramphosa did the ‘Gandhi Walk’ leadership in South Africa :-

Image result for Gandhi WalkSouth Africa’s President Cyril Ramphosa led the ‘Gandhi Walk’ organized in Lonasia, the homeland of Indians in the south of Johannesburg. About 5,000 people took part in the event.

This walk was organized to promote community awareness and health among the countrymen. Amit Prabhacharan, president of ‘Gandhi Walk Committee’ said that this was the first time in this walk held for the 33rd time, when the present President was involved in it. This time the Walk theme was ‘Going Green’, whose center was to promote environmental initiatives and to promote community awareness. India’s High Commissioner in South Africa, Rikera Kamboj, along with Ramphosa, also joined the walk.

 

5.PM Modi arrives in Stockholm, breaking protocol, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven condoles the welcome :-

Image result for PMPrime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on the six-day visit to three countries late night to Stockholm’s capital city of Stockholm. He was warmly welcomed here. Prime Minister of Sweden PM Stephen Lofeen broke the protocol and reached the airport himself and welcomed the PM. After reaching Sweden, Prime Minister Modi met with the people of Indian community in Stockholm.

Let’s say that after 30 years no Indian Prime Minister has arrived in Sweden. This is Sweden’s first visit to PM Modi. On Tuesday, both PMs will talk on several issues in Stockholm. From here, he will be leaving for London where he will participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting.

 

6.KKR’s old captain, Delhi lost by 71 runs :-

Image result for KKR's old captainIn the 13th match of IPL 2018, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils were face-to-face and in this match, Kolkata defeated Delhi by a huge margin of 71 runs on their home ground. In this match, Delhi captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and invited Kolkata to bat first. Earlier, batting first, Kolkata scored 200 runs in 9 overs in 9 overs. Delhi had to score 201 runs to win but the whole team was all out in 12.2 overs in 14.2 overs. Delhi’s batsmen could not stand in front of Kolkata’s spin bowling. Kolkata’s spinners took 7 wickets in this match. Nitish Rana was adjudged Man of the Match for his excellent batting. 

 

7.Russia prepares to prepare tanks and radars sent in Syria :-

Image result for Russia prepares to prepare tanksRussia has also begun its preparations after the US, UK and France air strikes in Syria. Russia has sent a large number of war tanks, trucks, radars, patrol warships and ambulances to Syria from two warships. Both warships have been seen evacuating from the Bosporus waterway. After the attack, President Vladimir Putin threatened that if the attack on Syria again, the world would be devastated.

The Blue Project 177 Alligator Ship has been sent to Syria from offensive war materials from the Russian Navy Base. This has sent the Soviet BTR-80 war tanks, trucks carrying soldiers, radar systems and ambulances. The second ship was used to create high-speed patrol battleship, floating bridge, and the name was sent. Photographs of soldiers carrying military equipment and sailing ships are viral on social media.

 

8.Do not order mosques in Ghana, loudspeakers, not on wattage, message of ‘Ajan’ :-

Image result for African country of GhanaIn the African country of Ghana, the administration has ordered all mosques and churches to stop using loudspeakers to call people for Azan. Along with the use of WTSAP as a substitute for loudspeaker. This major objective is to reduce the noise pollution in urban areas.

According to a report, there is often crowds on religious places. Because of this, traffic is also interrupted. The Ghana Administration says that in such a situation, the Ajan from the mosque enhances sound pollution. Like the mosques, the church here has been ordered here too.

 

  1.  7.3% in FY19; India’s growth, need to create 81 lakh jobs every year: World Bank :-

Related imageThe World Bank has said that India’s economy has completely recovered from the ban on accounting and GST. He recently expressed hope that the growth rate of 7.3 per cent in the last financial year 2017-18. After this, growth in the next two years is estimated to be 7.5 percent.

In the South Asia Economic Focus Report released twice a year, the World Bank said that India’s growth rate is expected to increase from 6.7% in 2016-17 to 7.3% in the previous year. He says that due to improved private investment and consumption, economic conditions have improved. It has been said in the report that in order to take advantage of Global Growth, India should increase the focus on investment and exports.

 

10.Sensex rises 76 points to 34381; market continues to rise :-

Image result for सेंसेक्सThe stock market continues to grow. At around 10.30, the Sensex is trading 76 points up at 34381 and Nifty is trading 13 points higher at 10542 level. On the National Stock Exchange, the midcap index was 0.33 percent and the Smascape 0.53 percent rise.
