4.ICC’s new rules in cricket will apply :-

According to the new rules, if a customer closes it within one year of opening the account then he will not have to pay any kind of fee.
Also, if the account is closed after the death of a person and the account is closed, then no fee will be levied in that case. No charge will be levied on the closure of the Regular Saving Bank Account and Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account. At present, all such accounts are closed and service tax and goods and services are charged at 500 rupees for closure or settlement.

12.Investment through P-Notes reached 1.25 lakh crore in August :-
The investment coming through participatory notes (P-Notes) in the domestic capital market of the country has reached level of 1.25 lakh crore at the end of August with a minimum of seven and a half years. Some of the norms set by SEBI for its main reasons are being considered.
According to the data released by SEBI, the total value of investment through P-Notes in equities, debt and derivatives in the Indian market has dropped to Rs 1,25,037 crore in August. It touched a five-year low of Rs 1,35,297 crore in July last year.
This is the lowest level since February 2010, when the total value of such investment was Rs 1,24,177 crores.
What are p notes – P-Notes is also called Participatory Notes. Foreign investors are not able to directly invest in the Indian stock market, so they resort to the registered foreign brokerage house.
