Important documents for Joining in Banks

 

At the time of reporting, you have to keep some documents with you that will be verified by the Bank Officials. To join a bank is not an easy task. The banks are very conscious about the verification of documents as there are some illegal activities involved in the recruitment process to join the bank. Even if you have secured top score in the IBPS Exam and interview, if you fail to bring any of the required document, your allotment will be canceled by the bank.

 

Therefore, here we are providing you list of all the important documents that should be carried by the candidates in original and also in photocopy, at the time of reporting. Check out the list of important documents.

 

  1. Identity Proof –

 

You must keep at least one ID proof with you at the time of reporting. This may include PAN card/Aadhar card/Driving License/Voter’s ID/Passport etc.

 

 

  1. Date of Birth Proof –

 

DOB Proof is also the most important document which is verified by officials. Usually, they verify it by referring to mark sheets but you should also carry the DOB certificate with you, as it may be possible that they will check it.

 

 

  1. Documents related to Educational Qualification –

 

You will be asked for your original documents related to your qualifications. The documents must include mark sheets of 10th and 12th Class, mark sheets and degrees of UG & PG or any other educational details if you have. The date of passing the degree exam mentioned on degree mark sheet or provisional certificate will be considered to check your eligibility condition.

 

 

  1. Certificates of Computer Literacy –

 

If you have applied for the clerical position, then it is mandatory for you that you should have studied Computer Science or IT as a subject in high school or college. You can also provide the degree of any course in computer operations/language from an institute.

 

 

  1. Caste Certificate/Category Certificate –

 

Candidates belonging to the reserved category should bring their caste/category certificates issued by appropriate authority.

 

 

 Those belonging to OBC category (non-creamy layer) should bring a certificate that specifically contains a clause that the candidate does not belong to creamy layer section. It should have been issued within one year from the date of exam notification (refer date of IBPS advertisement)

 

 PWD candidates are entitled to bring disability certificate in proper format issued by district medical board.

 

 Ex-Servicemen must bring discharge letter along with pension payment order & proof of last held rank.

 

 

  1. IBPS Online Application –

 

You have to bring the online application of IBPS PO/Clerk/SO Exam. You should take the printout of these application forms, as it will be asked at the time of reporting.

 

 

  1. Relieving Letter –

 

Many candidates mention their experience in the application forms. If you are one of those candidates, then you should also bring the relieving letter with other documents.

 

All the above-stated documents are very important, as Banks have the authority to disqualify candidates from job joining if they do not provide the necessary proofs.

 

Be responsible, so that you don’t lose the opportunity by making silly mistakes of not bringing any of these important documents.
