1.The Supreme Court has directed the Center, Tamil Nadu and Kerala governments – make separate committees to deal with the danger of any disaster at Mullaperiyar dam site :-

The Supreme Court has ordered the Central Government and the Tamil Nadu and Kerala governments to make three separate committees to deal with the situation of unexpected losses in Mulla Periyar Dam. In this petition, it has been sought to instruct the concerned parties for the help of international experts for the study of life and security matters of this dam, more than 180 years old. The Supreme Court, while disposing the PIL, clarified that the proposed committees will consider only the aspects related to the dam on the aspects related to the disaster. The existing committee will continue to consider the safety of the dam and its working hours, Which was formed in 2014 after the decision of the Constitution Bench. The PIL was demanded that use of the dam should be stopped as it has become very old and violates the right to life of residents of surrounding areas. More than three million people living near the dam are afraid that they can ever be victims of an accident.

 

2.Cortosat-to-series satellites from Sriharikota, the release of the PSLV C-40 rocket, and the countless release of the countdown :-

It has been designed to work for five years. These mission ISRO president Dr. A.S. Kiran Kumar will be present in the chair, whose tenure is being completed during its launch.

 

3.CBI court asks for bail- In the coal block allocation scam industrialist Naveen Jindal will be charged for bribe :-

Central Bureau of Investigation- The CBI has asked the special court to decide the charges of bribe against Congress leader and industrialist Naveen Jindal and others in the Jharkhand coal block allocation case. CBI counsel V.K. Sharma said that the charges of bribery and procurement of Government employees under Sections 7 and 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act should be framed. Justice Bharat Parashar told the petitioner that he has submitted petitions before 16 February before the announcement of the decision in the Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block allocation case.

 

4.The Indian Securities and Exchange Board prevented the guilty auditor Price Waterhouse from issuing an audit certificate for two years in the Satyam scam of crores rupees :-

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has blamed the chief auditor company Price Waterhouse Cooper in the multi-crore Satyam scam. Any audit company attached to this group will not be able to issue the audit certificate for any of the companies listed in India for the next two years. SEBI also ordered to recover more than 13 crore rupees from the price waterhouse company and two of his former partners in an unfair manner. This order of market regulator came nine years after the Satyam Computer Services scandal was exposed.

 

5.CBSE announces 10th and 12th exams date :-

Central Board of Secondary Education – CBSE has declared the date of examination for the 10th and 12th exams. These examinations will start from March 5.

Four levels of countries include ten war-affected and administratively failed countries. These countries include Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen. Level three countries include Pakistan. The State Department has advised US citizens to reconsider the visit of this country with terrorism

Nepal is going to take internet connection from China on Friday. After this decision, Nepal will not depend on India for this. Nepal Telecom (NT), the country’s proprietary telecommunications company, said that from 12 January, China will start giving us the Internet. All preparations have been completed for this.

NTV spokesperson Prima Vaidya told that the process of acquiring internet bandwidth from China has been completed. Nepal-China fiber link will start operations from Friday. ‘ However, the NT has not disclosed the actual amount of Chinese Internet bandwidth that China has received. He said that information will be shared after its inauguration on Friday.

 

10.Women in Saudi Arabia will drive taxis soon :-
