1.K. Chandrasekhar Rao sworn in as chief minister of Telangana:-

Telangana Nation Committee – Chairman of TRS Chandrasekhar Rao has taken oath of office for the second time as the Chief Minister of Telangana. Apart from Mr. Rao, Mohammed Mahmood Ali also took oath as the minister in a simple ceremony in the Raj Bhavan ground in Hyderabad. TRS got more than two-thirds majority in the elections held prior to the 119-member state assembly. On this occasion, Shri Rao said that the full Cabinet will be constituted in the next few days.

2.Mizoram will be administered on Saturday to the new Mizo National Front government:-

In Mizoram the new Mizo National Front government headed by Mr. Joramthanga will be sworn in on Saturday. Governor of the Raj Bhavan in Aizawl Under the leadership of Rajasekharan and Shri Jormathanga, M.N.F. This decision was taken in a meeting with a delegation of 74-year-old Jarmathanga will take oath for the third time by the Chief Minister of Mizoram. Earlier, between 1998 and 2008, he has also been chief minister twice. Official sources have said that the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Raj Bhavan on Saturday at 11 p.m.

3.President Ramnath Kovind inaugurated Enterprise India exhibition in Yangon:-

President Shri Ramnath Kovind inaugurated the 5th Enterprise India Exhibition in Yangon the last day of Myanmar State Visit.

In his address on this occasion, the President said that Myanmar and India are good neighbors, but there is less sharing of trade and investment between us. He said that the immense possibilities of increasing business, investing in joint ventures and investing in each other’s progress and development are present before us. The President expressed happiness over the fact that the Enterprise India exhibition has brought excellent Indian products and services, innovation and knowledge to Myanmar business partners, startups, incubators and customers. He appreciated the efforts of the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce for organizing this exhibition.

The President said that there is a lot to present in terms of infrastructure, state-of-the-art products and services and digitally-driven options – from the Finetec to Biotech for Myanmar in the saga of India’s progress. He said that Myanmar is rich in human resources and natural resources. If there is a right regulatory environment especially in the field of energy, telecommunications, banking, insurance and healthcare, then there is every reason for investment here. He said that the creation of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Myanmar in this direction is welcome.

Prior to this, the President started his day with worship of Archana at the historic Sri Kali temple in Yangon. This temple is 150 years old and symbolizes the unity of the entire Indo-China community in Myanmar. After this, the President visited the tomb of Bahadur Shah Zafar and lit candles on his mazar. President Shri Kovind Bahadur Shah Zafar is the second President of India to visit the tomb. Prior to them, the then President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam also went to the tomb of Bahadur Shah Zafar.

4.The US Parliament passed ‘Reciprocal Access to Tibb Act’:-

Both the Houses of the American Parliament have passed ‘Reciprocal Access to Tibb Act’. Now it has been signed to President Donald Trump after which it will get the status of law. Under this, other hard steps including the introduction of visa restrictions on Chinese officials who do not allow American citizens, government officials and journalists to go to Tibet are included. American Senator Patrick Leah said in the House that this law is a strong step in the solution of injustice being done for decades. He said that the Chinese government has kept the mandatory mandate of issuing special permits to foreign diplomats, journalists and tourists to visit Tibb arbitrarily. Senator said that the Chinese government often refuses to give permits, but there is no such mandatory requirement for other areas including Xinjiang. Mr. Leah said that when China also issues a permit,

6.In the World Tour Finals, Sameer hopes to make a place in knockout, defeating Sugiyarto:-

Indian shuttler Sameer Verma has retained his hopes of making the place in the knockout of the BWF World Tour Finals Badminton Tournament by defeating Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia in straight games. Sameer, ranked 14th in the world, defeated Sugiyarto of number 10, 21-16, 21-7 in the 40-minute match of Group B. They have to clash with Kentafon Wangcharon of Thailand in their next match. He defeated Wangcharon while winning the title at the Swiss Open, but this year he lost to Thailand at the Thailand Open.

7.Manika Batra gotBreakthrough  Table Tennis Star Award:-

Star Paddler Manika Batra became the first Indian player to win the prestigious ‘Breakthrough Table Tennis Star’ Award for the prestigious International Table Tennis Federation in Incheon. Manika said that I am truly honored to receive this honor and am very happy and happy.

I think 2018 has been the best year of my career so far and I am happy with what I have achieved. Manika achieved her career’s best 52 ranking in 2018, and she became the highest ranked Indian woman to do so.

8.Railways to start 41 projects worth Rs 7 billion for Allahabad Kumbh Mela:-

Railways have started 41 projects for the Kumbh Mela in Allahabad in January next year at a cost of seven billion rupees. Of these 29 projects have already been completed and the rest will be completed soon. For devotees coming to the Kumbh fair, there are proposals to run around 800 special trains from different stations of Allahabad district.

9.Reserve Bank of India approves opening of new branches, BanK:-

After the Reserve Bank of India cleared Bond Bank to open a new branch, the shares of the bank rose 6 percent. After touching the highest level of Rs 514.50, the stock closed at 501.70, up 5.99 per cent on the BSE after touching the highest level of Rs 514.50. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the bank’s shares also jumped 6.79 per cent and closed at 504.

A total of 27.63 lakh units were traded on the NSE while 2.19 lakh shares on BSE were changed.  the bank’s founder and CEO CS Ghosh told that the Bank will open 40 new branches in different parts of the country by December 31. With this, the total number of bank branches in the country will be 978.

Ghosh said that five new branches were opened  He said that the bank’s ATM number will also increase to 476. Earlier, the Reserve Bank had stopped the expansion of the bank within three years due to failing to reduce the share of promoters from 82 per cent to 40 per cent. Ghosh told the news agency PTI that the bank had taken prior approval from the RBI for opening new branches. They said, “We are working towards reducing the share of enforcement companies in the bank.”
