1.Mr. Hardeep Puri Clean Survey 2019, ODIF + and ODF ++ protocol and clean platform web portal will be introducing :-

Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs (Independent Charge) Mr. Hardeep S. Puri will launch Clean Survey 2019 on August 10, 2018 in New Delhi. With this, new initiatives and life-feature index under Clean India Mission (Urban) will also be released. There will also be a direct webcast of the event for the states and cities across the country. This webcast will be done through the letter information bureau, the official YouTube channel and the Facebook account.

It is notable that the Ministry started Clean Survey -2016 in January 2016 for the ranking of 73 cities. After this, Clean Survey-2011 was organized in January-February 2017 for the ranking of 434 cities. Recently, 4203 cities were ranked in the Clean Survey-2012.

 

2.Policy Commission and CII launched partnership on sustainable development goals :-

Shri Raj Kumar Singh, Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy (Independent Charge) of the Government of India said that industry and government must definitely participate in the continuous development of India. Launch of Policy Commission and CII Partnership on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) during the Government-Industry Partnership Conference held in New Delhi on 8th August by Mr. Raj Kumar Singh Policy Commission, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and United Nations (UN) Were speaking on the occasion.

 

3.Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu released the Export Friends app :-

Union Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu today released the Export Friends mobile app in New Delhi. This app developed by the Indian Exporters’ Federation (Fio) is available on all mobile phones with Android and IoC platforms. Through this, all the rules and regulations related to international trade can be obtained. This includes policies relating to import export , rates of GST, concessions available for export, fees and the necessary points for reaching markets. It includes data from 87 countries. Its most important feature is that all information related to the tariff is available.

 

4.Third meeting of Indo-Nepal Coordination Committee will be in New Delhi :-

The third meeting of the India-Nepal Coordination Committee will be held in New Delhi on Wednesday. In this meeting, discussion on border security and exchange of information about criminals will be discussed. A delegation of seven members of Nepal, headed by the Nepal Armed Police Force’s Inspector General Shailendra Khanal, arrived in Delhi on Tuesday for a three-day meeting.

According to our correspondent, “During the meeting many important issues will be discussed. These include security situation in the border areas, coordination meetings at the grassroots, sharing of information about crime and criminals, training of armed policemen and officers of both countries, among others. On Tuesday, Nepalese delegation met Home Secretary Rajiv Gava. On this occasion, Shri Gava appreciated the best cooperation between the security forces of the two countries. He stressed on improving joint patrolling, coordination among the officers of the Armed Forces and coordination through regular border meetings. ”

 

5.Maharashtra Government announces special assistance of Rs.500 crores to increase employment opportunities for the youth of other backward classes :-

The Maharashtra government has announced special assistance of Rs.500 crore for providing employment opportunities to the youth of other backward classes. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that his government is committed to making other Backward Classes Reservation Facility in government jobs. He also denied the news of the involvement of the Maratha community in the Other Backward Classes category. The state government recommended the nineteenth century social reformer Jyotiba Phule and pro-female education advocate Savitri Bai Phule to honor the country’s highest civilian honor Bharat Ratna.

 

6.Muslim women will be included in the US Congress for the first time :-

For the first time a Muslim woman candidate may be included in the US Congress. Democratic Party candidate, Rashida Talib, has presented his claim to defeating juniors John Cantor in Michigan.

According to the Detroit Free Press, 42-year-old daughter of Palestinian immigrants, got priority in the 13th Congress District on Tuesday. Rashida got 33.6 percent of the votes. However, his opponent Brenda Jones has 28.5 percent of the vote. Bill Willed got 14.5 percent of the vote. There was no candidate left by the Republican Party in a Democratic stronghold district. It is believed that the Talib can win in the elections to be held in November. Amritdha Talib has expressed gratitude by tweeting. He thanked you very much for making this incredible moment possible. I am at a loss for words. I can not wait to serve in Congress

 

7.Pakistan’s National Assembly session next week, the Election Commission will stop the nine seats :-

Law Minister Ali Zafar of the caretaker government of Pakistan said on Wednesday that the session of the newly elected National Assembly can be called next week. The report has been submitted to the President about this. With the introduction of the new session, the process of forming a new government will start.

In a conversation with reporters, Zafar said, “A session of the National Assembly can be called between 12 and 14 August for the swearing in of oaths to the newly elected members. Speaker and deputy speaker will also be appointed along with the Prime Minister’s election. According to the law of Pakistan, it is compulsory to convene a session of the lower house of the National Assembly of the Parliament within 21 days of the general election. This obligation must be completed by August 15. Election was held on July 25 in Pakistan.

 

8.Modi government double the number of filling income tax returns :-

 

As well as bringing the economy back on track, the Modi government has achieved great success in curbing tax evasion. The NDA government has doubled the number of people filing income tax returns in just four years. In the tenure of the UPA government, the number of returning people living near around three crore is now close to touching the figure of seven crore. The special thing is that in the last financial year about one crore new taxpayers have filed income tax returns. At the same time, the number registered under the indirect taxes has increased in large numbers after the GST is implemented.

 

9.Prime Minister Ujjwala plan has achieved 5 core mark   :-

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan gave more than 5 million LPG connections  to Smt. Takardiran in the Parliament House of Delhi under the Prime Minister Ujjwala Scheme  ( PMUY )  . This has earned 50 million rupees in 2 year period.

Prime Minister Modi launched the Prime Minister’s bright scheme (PMUY) on  1 May 2016  and it was implemented by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas through the network of distributors across the country through oil marketing companies ie IOC, BPCL and HPCL. is. In the current year, considering the major success of the scheme, its target has been revised to 8 crore rupees with a budgetary allocation of Rs. 12,800 crore.

Uttar Pradesh has maximum LPG connections (87 lakh), followed by West Bengal (67 million) and Bihar (61 lakh).

 

10.President of Asia-Pacific Organization for Broadcasting Development selected in India :-

AIBD has elected India as President of the Broadcast Development (AIBD) for Asia-Pacific Institute for a period of two years  .  India was elected against Iran during the 44th Annual General Meeting of AIBD in Colombo, Sri Lanka .

All India Radio’s Director General F Shaharyar was re-elected under the chairmanship of the Executive Board,  while Sri Lanka was elected as the Vice President. This area, including India, is a full member of the broadcasting organization of 26 countries.

 

11.Three serving women judges for the first time in Supreme court  :-

After getting approval for the promotion of Madras High Court Chief Justice Indira Banerjee , the  center will be the  first woman to  be three serving women judges in the Supreme Court .

  1. The other two judges appointed in August 2014 are R. Banumathi, and appointed in April 2018, Indu Malhotra. In particular, SC will have 22 male judges, including two new male appointments.
