1.डॉ. ममता सूरी ने कार्यकारी निदेशक, आईबीबीआई का कार्यभार संभाला :-
डॉ. ममता सूरी ने में भारतीय दिवाला और दिवालियापन बोर्ड (आईबीबीआई) की कार्यकारी निदेशक के रूप में कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया है।
आईबीबीआई में कार्यभार संभालने से पहले वह भारतीय बीमा नियामक एवं विकास प्राधिकरण की मुख्य महाप्रबंधक थीं।
उन्होंने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से वित्त में पीएचडी और लंदन के सिटी यूनिवर्सिटी से बीमा जोखिम और प्रबंधन विषय में एमएससी की डिग्रियां प्राप्त की हैं। वह भारत के चार्टर्ड वित्तीय विश्लेषक संस्थान से चार्टर्ड वित्तीय विश्लेषक (सीएफए) हैं।
Dr. Mamta Suri takes charge of Executive Director, IBBI :-
Dr. Mamta Suri has taken charge of Executive Director of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
Dr. Suri was serving as Chief General Manager, Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India before assuming the charge.
She has obtained her Ph.D. in Finance from University of Delhi and M. Sc. in Insurance Risk and Management from City University, London. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
- भारत एवं स्वीडन के मध्य बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकार समझौता ज्ञापन :-
केन्द्रीय कैबिनेट ने भारत और स्वीडन के बीच बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकारों के क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन को मंजूरी प्रदान की।
समझौता ज्ञापन में एक ऐसी व्यापक और सुगम व्यवस्था कायम करने का प्रावधान है जिसके जरिए दोनों देश बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकारों के बारे में जागरुकता बढ़ाने के लिए उत्कृष्ट पद्धतियों और प्रौद्योगिकी का आदान प्रदान करेंगे और साथ ही प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों के बारे में मिलकर काम करेंगे।
इस समझौता ज्ञापन में डिजिटल वातावरण, विशेषकर कॉपीराईट मुद्दों में बौद्धिक संपदा कानून के उल्लंघनों के बारे में जानकारी और उत्कृष्ट पद्धतियों का आदान-प्रदान करना भी शामिल है।
MoU on IPR signed between India and Sweden :-
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Sweden on cooperation in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) has been approved by the Union Cabinet.
The MoU establishes a wide ranging and flexible mechanism through which both countries can exchange best practices and work together on training programs and technical exchanges to raise awareness on IPRs and better protect intellectual property rights.
It has also the provision of exchange of information and best practices regarding Intellectual Property law infringements in the digital environment, especially regarding Copyright issues.
3.न्यूजीलैंड करेगा आईसीसी अंडर -19 क्रिकेट विश्व कप 2018 का आयोजन :-

न्यूजीलैंड आईसीसी अंडर -19 क्रिकेट विश्व कप 2018 की मेजबानी करेगा।
14 जनवरी 2018 से खेले जाने वाले आईसीसी अंडर -19 क्रिकेट विश्व कप में भारत एवं ऑस्ट्रेलिया को एक ही ग्रुप में रखा गया है।
भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया को न्यूजीलैंड में खेला जाने वाला आईसीसी यू -19 क्रिकेट विश्व कप में एक ही समूह में रखा गया है।
पूर्व चैंपियन भारत अपना पहला मैच 14 जनवरी को ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ खेलेगा।
जिम्बाब्वे और पूर्व एशिया प्रशांत क्वालीफायर पापुआ न्यूगिनी इस समूह में अन्य टीम हैं।
इस विश्व कप में कुल 16 टीमें भाग लेंगी।
ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 in New Zealand :-
New Zealand will host ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018
India and Australia have been placed in the same Group in ICC U-19 cricket World Cup to be played in New Zealand from January 14, 2018.
Former champions India will play its first match against Australia on January 14.
Zimbabwe and East Asia Pacific qualifier Papua New Guinea are the other teams in this group.
A total of 16 teams will participate in the World Cup.
4.कैबिनेट ने नई मेट्रो रेल नीति को मंजूरी दी :-
केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आज नई मेट्रो रेल नीति को मंजूरी दे दी जिसका उद्देश्य अनेक शहरों के लोगों की रेल की आकांक्षाओं को उत्तरदायी तरीके से पूरा करना है।
यह सुव्यवस्थित शहरी विकास, लागत में कमी और बहु-मोडल एकीकरण पर केंद्रित है।
नई मेट्रो परियोजनाओं के लिए केन्द्रीय सहायता का लाभ उठाने के लिए पीपीपी घटक अनिवार्य है जो मेट्रो परिचालनों के क्षेत्र में निजी निवेश के लिए एक बड़ा कदम है।
मेट्रो परियोजनाओं की वित्तीय व्यवहार्यता सुनिश्चित हेतु, नई मेट्रो रेल नीति के लिए राज्यों को परियोजना रिपोर्टों में स्पष्ट रूप उल्लेख करना होगा कि स्टेशनों पर वाणिज्यिक / संपत्ति विकास और अन्य शहरी जमीन द्वारा समर्थित विज्ञापन, पट्टे की जगह आदि के माध्यम से वे किस प्रकार राजस्व प्राप्त करेंगे, एवं इसे क़ानूनी मान्यता प्राप्त होगी।
New Metro Rail Policy approved :-
The Union Cabinet has approved a new Metro Rail Policy that seeks to enable the realization of growing metro rail aspirations of a large number of cities in a responsible manner.
It focuses on compact urban development, cost reduction and multi-modal integration.
PPP component mandatory for availing central assistance for new metro projects which is a big move for private investments across a range of metro operations.
Seeking to ensure financial viability of metro projects, the new Metro Rail Policy requires the States to clearly indicate in the project report the measures to be taken for commercial / property development at stations and on other urban land and for other means of maximum non-fare revenue generation through advertisements, lease of space etc., backed by statutory support.
- रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड और बीपी पर लगा 26.4 करोड़ डॉलर जुर्माना :-
सरकार ने 2015-16 में केजी-डी 6 क्षेत्रों से प्राकृतिक गैस के लक्षित उत्पादन को पूरा नहीं करने के लिए रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड और उसके सहयोगियों पर 264 मिलियन डॉलर (लगभग 1700 करोड़ रुपये) का जुर्माना लगाया है।
1 अप्रैल, 2010 से शुरु होकर अबतक छह वर्षों के दौरान कंपनी पर 3.02 अरब डॉलर का दंड लगाया जा चुका है।
उत्पादन शेयरिंग अनुबंध रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज और उसके यूके के भागीदार बीपी पीएलसी और कनाडाई पार्टनर निको रिसोर्सेज को सरकार के साथ लाभ साझा करने से पहले गैस की बिक्री से सभी पूंजी और परिचालन खर्च काटा जा सकने की अनुमति प्रदान करता है।
$264 Million penalties imposed on Reliance Industries Ltd & BP :-
The government has imposed a penalty of 264 million dollars (about Rs 1,700 crore) on Reliance Industries Ltd and its partners for not fulfilling the targeted production of natural gas from KG-D6 fields in 2015-16.
The total penalty imposed on the company during the six years beginning April 1, 2010, stands at $ 3.02 billion.
The Production Sharing Contract allows RIL and its UK partner BP PLC and Canadian partner Niko Resources to deduct all capital and operating expenses from the sale of gas before sharing profit with the government.
6.भारत–अमरीका संबंध में एक नई शुरुआत :-
भारत में अमेरिकी कच्चे तेल के पहले शिपमेंट के इस वर्ष सितंबर के अंत तक आने के साथ ही भारत-अमरीका संबंध में एक अध्याय जुड़ेगा।
100 मिलियन डॉलर की लागत वाली दो लाख बैरल का यह तेल आयात अपेक्षित 2 अरब डॉलर के द्विपक्षीय तेल व्यापार का बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा है।
दिसंबर 2015 में तत्कालीन अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा ने अमेरिकी तेल के निर्यात पर 40 साल के प्रतिबंध को हटा दिया था, लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प के बीच 26 जून को होने वाले बैठक के दौरान प्रक्रिया आगे बढ़ी,जब दोनों नेता ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में संबंधों को आगे बढ़ने करने के लिए सहमत हुए।
दो भारतीय तेल कंपनियाँ, भारतीय तेल निगम और भारत पेट्रोलियम, ने अमेरिकी समकक्षों को 40 लाख से अधिक बैरल तेल खरीदने का आदेश दिया।
भारत दुनिया का तीसरा सबसे बड़ा तेल आयातक है।
A New Landmark in India-USA relationship :-
New vistas in the Indo-USA relationship will begin with the arrival of the first shipment of American crude oil to India by the end of September this year.
It is the first lot of two million barrels costing $100 million, is a part of expected bilateral oil trade to $2 billion.
The 40-year-old ban on export of American oil was lifted by the then U.S. PresidentBarack Obama in December 2015, but the real move started during the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump on June 26 when the two leaders agreed to deepen the engagement in the energy sector.
Indian oil companies, Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petroleum, the duo placed orders for over four million barrels to the US counterparts.
India is the world’s third-largest oil importer.
