2. PM Modi to inaugurate 100th Farmers Rail today, will leave from Maharashtra to Bengal :- The 100th Kisan Rail will be started on Monday. The Government of India has given a subsidy of 50 percent on the transportation of fruits and vegetables. Explain that on August 7 this year, the first farmer rail from Devlali to Danapur was started, which was extended to Muzaffarpur. Its frequency was also increased from one week a week to three days a week. Kisan Rail has proved to be a ‘game-changer’ in ensuring ‘rapid transportation of agricultural produce’ across the country. Apart from this, PM Modi will also inaugurate India’s first driverless train operation on Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line (Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden) at 11 am on Monday through video conferencing.
