1.China will send its special envoy to North Korea on Friday :-

China will send its special envoy to North Korea on Friday. Official government of China gave this information on Wednesday.

China’s President Xi Jinping Special Envoy Song Tao will go to North Korea on Friday, where he will inform the North Korean leadership about congressional conclusions of the recent Chinese Communist Party.

The Minister will be the first Minister of the first level to go to North Korea since October 2015.

 

2.Saudi Arabia joins Yoga in sports activity :-

Saudi Arabia has added Yoga as a game. The credit goes to Saudi Arabia’s first female yoga instructor, Naouf Marwai.

Known as the Arabic Yogacharya, the Arab Yoga Foundation was founded in 2010. Saudi Arabia has proved this by taking this decision, that yoga has nothing to do with religion

 

3.Japan, US joint exercises begin with tension in North Korea :-

Japan and the United States today started joint naval exercises to show their strength to North Korea. North Korea’s nuclear ambition is shadowed by the US President Donald Trump’s recent Asia visit.

The US Navy said in a statement that this 10-day exercise will include approximately 14,000 American soldiers, aircraft carriers, American ship Ronald Reagan and Missile Destroyers, and will be stationed in the ocean around Okinawa in South Japan.

In the recent months, North Korea, which has created a tension in the region with its nuclear and missile tests, has been condemning such military exercises for attacking and sometimes it also exercises its military practice in response.The statement said that the purpose of this annual practice is to increase the capacity of action to protect itself between Japan and the US forces through training in air and sea operations.

Earlier American aircraft carrier used joint exercises in the Western Pacific Ocean. The Japanese Army and South Korean Warships also participated in this exercise.

 

4.Reduction in commodity and service tax rates on 178 items of everyday use :-

Low rates of commodity and service tax have come into effect from Wednesday. GST rate on one hundred 78 items of common use was reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent. Eight commodities were removed from the GST slab of 12 percent and the tax was brought down to five percent.

Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has asked the enforcement departments of the States to ensure that the reduction in the rate of the goods and services tax is given to consumers.

 

5.Supreme Court adjourns interim order of Rajasthan High Court to prevent making laws for reservation of Gujr and other backward classes in Rajasthan :-

The Supreme Court has adjourned the interim order of the Rajasthan High Court to prevent the state government from making law to give reservation to Gujjar and other communities in other backward classes in Rajasthan. The Supreme Court accepted the plea of the Rajasthan Government that the court can not stop the legislative process that the court can not stop the legislative process.

A bench of Chief Justice Deepak Mishra and Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud also directed the State Government that till the Rajasthan High Court did not hear the final verdict on the reservation issue, any one of the benefits of reservation under the new law Administrative steps will not be raised.The Rajasthan High Court had banned November 9 on the state government’s bill to give reservation to Gujjar and other communities under other Backward Classes.

The government will implement BS-Six-grade fuel in National Capital Region Delhi from April 1, 20120 instead of April 1, 2018.

With the release of BS-4 grade fuel a new era of clean fuels has started and it will greatly benefit the countrymen. This will reduce the pollution level significantly. India’s commitment to launching BS-IV grade fuel proves that it is very serious to reduce emissions.

 

7.Indian Unique Identification Authority has approved the outline of new methods like OTP to re-authenticate the base based SIM of the current subscriber from next month :-

Indian Unique Identification Authority has approved the framework outline of new methods like OTP to re-authenticate the base based SIM of the current subscriber from next month.

Last month, the government had announced three new methods for completing the process of connecting mobile phone numbers with base to the existing consumers to re-certify the SIM from their home. These are – OTP-One-time password, Mobile app based facility and IVRS facility.

In these innovative ways, consumers do not have to go to the companies’ offices to connect their mobile numbers with base. The Department of Telecommunications has asked the senior citizens, Divyang and critically ill consumers to arrange for the re-certification of the SIM at their home.

 

8.Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy out of China Open Super Series Premier Badminton Tournament :-

Saina Nehwal is out of the women’s singles event of the China Open Super Series Premier badminton tournament after losing in the second round. He defeated Japan’s Hakamaguchi 21-18, 21-11.

In the men’s singles also, India’s S.H. Pranoy lost to Hong Kong’s Yiwu Li in the second round, 19-21, 17-21.

Later, the world’s second-seeded player and Rio Olympics silver medalist PV Sindhu will play against China’s Yue Han.

 

9.Saina Nehwal, P.V. Indus and H. S. Prannoy in second round of China Open Super Series :-

In the second round of women’s singles of the China Open Super Series Premier badminton tournament, today Saina Nehwal will face Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi.

In the first round, Saina defeated American Beven Zhang 21-12, 21-13.

In another female singles match, P.V. Sindhu will be up against China’s Yu Han. In the first round played on Wednesday, Sindhu defeated Japan’s Sayaka Sato. Sindhu made this title 24-22 23-21.

Male singles include H. S. Prannoy defeated Lee Li Dang Kyun of Korea 18-21, 21-16, 21-19 to make it to the second round. Today they will be competing with U Lee from Hong Kong.

The President and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ramnath Kovind, gave standard prizes to 223 Squadron and 117 Helicopter units during a ceremony parade held at the Air Force Station, Adampur on November 16, 2017. President of Standard 223 Squadron Commanding Officer Gp Capt Prabhat Malik and Commanding Officer of 117 Helicopter Unit Wing Commander N. Batra eclipsed.

The celebration parade was led by Group Captain Tushar Vaidya. The President also released the ‘First Day cover’ of 223 Squadron and 117 Helicopters at the function. The flights of MiG-29, ALH and Mi-17 helicopters with parade were also coordinated. After the parade, the show was displayed by the Air Warrior drill team. The ceremony ended with a breath-taking performance of the Sarang and Sun Ray Aerobatic team.
