1.President will visit Chhattisgarh on July 25 and 26, 2018 :-

President Shri Ramnath Kovind will visit Chhattisgarh on July 25 and 26, 2018.

On July 25, 2018, the President will interact with the farmers and women’s self help groups in Integrated Agricultural Systems Unit located in Hiragam of Jagadpur. The President will also talk to students of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram School in Hiranar. On this day, the President will also visit Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee Education City, Jawanga and communicate with the competent school along with the Divya children of the Aastha Vidya Mandir. Apart from this, the President will also inaugurate a BPO.

 

2.In the 36th meeting of the Central Approval and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) of Prime Minister’s housing scheme (urban), 2,67,546 houses have been approved for 10 states, approved :-

Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has approved the construction of 2,67,546 and affordable houses in the interest of the urban poor under the Prime Minister’s housing scheme (urban). This approval was given in the 36th meeting of the Central Approval and Monitoring Committee held here.

 

3.Clean survey rural program launched in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Maharashtra :-

The Clean Survey Rural 2018 (SSG 2018) program, announced by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation , was launched in three states on July 13 , 2018.

An independent survey agency under SSG 2018 will conduct survey in all the districts between 1 to 31 August 2018 and prepare the rankings of all the districts and states on the basis of sanitation norms. The states and districts receiving the highest position are expected to be honored on October 2, 2018.

 

4.Indian Oil Corporation has given Rs. 1 crore to help the Hindus under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme :-

Indian Oil Corporation Limited signed a memorandum of Rs. 1 crore for the help of Divijanganan with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), an artificial foot manufacturing company under the Corporate Social Responsibility Plan UPSO-II. ALIMCO is a subsidiary unit of the Department of Divasanjanjan Sansthan, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

 

5.After signing a dialogue between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, signed two agreements on eight agreements :-

India and Rwanda signed eight agreements last night. These agreements were signed after delegation level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame in Kigali. The two countries have signed agreements in defense, trade, agriculture, leather and related products and dairy sectors. India has decided to provide $ 20 million loan facility to Rwanda.

In a joint news conference Mr. Modi said that India will continue to cooperate for the economic development of Rwanda.

He said that we are going to open high commission in Rwanda soon. This will not only facilitate close communication between our governments, but also the counselor, passport and visa and other facilities will be accessible. We look forward to taking the relationship between the two countries to a more high level in the coming time.

 

6.India’s Bangladesh Joint Committee meeting held on the border haats :-

The first meeting of the India-Bangladesh Joint Committee on the border haats took place in Agartala, Tripura on July 22 and 23, 2018. At the meeting, both sides accepted the positive impact of the hats on the livelihood of those living in areas around the border haats. On this occasion, the measures for improving the operation and operation of four boundary haats were reviewed. At the same time, there was talk of a certain time fixed for making six new boundary haats. In the future, both sides also discussed the expansion of boundary haats. It was decided that the next meeting of the Joint Committee will be held in Bangladesh on the date fixed by the consent of both.

 

7.Goyal warns about doubling of deposit amount in Swiss banks :-

The government has denied media reports about doubling the amount deposited in the Swiss banks of Indians and said that in contrast, the deposits and loans of Indians in these banks decreased by 34 per cent.

In response to a question asked by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal regarding the money deposited by Swiss banks in Swiss banks against the black money of INKO, Ramkumar Kashyap said that the illusion in the country should be spread on the basis of unconditional media reports. The deposit amount of Indians in Swiss banks has doubled. He said that the Swiss authorities have sent a written reply to these reports and said that the data has been misinterpreted.

 

8.Agreement between Banks and Financial Institutions to speedily resolve the problem of trapped loans :-

In order to speedily solve the problem of trapped loans, many banks and financial institutions including State Bank of India and the Life Insurance Corporation have entered into an agreement. Under this agreement, the problem of trapped loans of at least Rs. 50 crores will be addressed to the union of banks. This agreement is part of a strong scheme. Sunil Mehta Committee submitted report in this regard in early July.

Finance Minister Piyush Goyal has described this agreement as a major step towards resolving the problems of the banking industry.

 

9.Union minister Nitin Gadkari launches development projects worth more than Rs. 5000 crore in Guna district in Madhya Pradesh :-

In Madhya Pradesh, road transport, highway, shipping and water resources minister Nitin Gadkari today started development projects of more than five thousand hundred and fifty million rupees in the Development Gala and Kisan Sammelan in Guna district. On this occasion, Shri Gadkari said that during the four years, not one project of his ministry has been stalled and this is the style of working of the Modi government.

He said that, for many years there will be no crater on this road and the work we have done with Corruption Free Transparency, complete quality control.

 

10.In the National Youth Athletics Championship, Dhanvir Singh won gold medal in the Golphank competition and Vishnu Priya won new record in 400 meter hurdles :-

On the last day of the 15th National Youth Athletics Championship in Vadodara yesterday, Dhanvir Singh of Punjab and Vishnu Priya of Kerala won gold medals with new Meet Records. Dhanvir won gold medal by shooting 19 decimal six- nine meters away in the shoot-throw competition.

In the women’s 400 meter hurdle, Priya completed her medal for completing one minute and two quarters per second in two seconds.

 

11.China prohibits participation of Tibetan students for religious programs :-

China has banned the participation of students in religious programs during the summer holidays in Tibet Autonomous Region. In China, the official communiqué of the ruling Communist Party, Global Times, has conveyed this information with an education officer from Lhasa.

The official said that an agreement has been signed with the students in this regard. He is following this rule in the care of his parents and teachers.

It is believed that China has done this step to strictly increase the Himalayan region of Buddhism. He considers Tibet’s spiritual teacher Dalai Lama as separatist and wants to end their influence.

The Dalai Lama, exiled from Tibet, is living in India. China claims that Tibet is part of it for the past seven centuries. While Tibetans say that before 1950 it was free. China has increased the presence of its army there for the last several years to establish its control over the region.

 

12.Flipkart is doing ebay in India, will launch new platform for closed, refurbished accessories :-

Veteran e-commerce company Flipkart is going to shut down eBay dot next month. Along with this, the company is in the process of launching a new platform for refurbished goods so that it can move in that large part of the market which is mainly unorganized.

In the past year, Flipkart had raised $ 1.4 billion from eBay, Tensent and Microsoft. In lieu of Equity Steak in Flipkart, eBay invested $ 500 million in cash and eBay dot in (Indian business) was sold to Flickr.

Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy said in an email to employees, “With the information from eBay.com, we have learned that we have created a new platform where refurbished goods will be sold. Under this launch, we will shift all customers’ transactions on 14th August, 2018 to the new platform. ”

 

13.India and Pakistan clash in Asia Cup on September 19 :-

In the upcoming Asia Cup, defending champions India will face Pakistan in the Group stage on September 19. This announcement was made on Tuesday by the International Cricket Council (ICC). However, one day before this, the Indian team will start its campaign against the qualifier team. This means that the Indian team will not have a chance to rest. He has to play two consecutive matches on 18 and 19 September. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are scheduled to play in the tournament, while the rest of the place is a claim between UAE, Singapore, Oman, Nepal, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
