4 Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary to be declared as tiger reserve

This strategic position will enable the satellite to efficiently perform its assigned tasks and capture critical data and imagery. The DS-SAR satellite has been developed through a successful collaboration between the Defense Science and Technology Agency and ST Engineering, acting on behalf of the Government of Singapore. This collaboration showcases the combined expertise of these entities, which aims to leverage advanced technology for sustainable satellite solutions.

Rajya Sabha passed the Cinematograph Amendment Bill 2023 . It proposes to amend the Cinematograph Act, 1952 . Some other certificate categories have been included in the Bill on the basis of age. Films with ‘A’ or ‘S’ certificate will require a separate certificate for exhibition on television or any other media as may be prescribed by the Central Government. This bill will prevent unauthorized recording and unauthorized exhibition of films. According to the Bill, the attempt of unauthorized recording will also be an offence. The Bill provides for the introduction of three age-based certificates under the ‘UA’ category i.e. ‘UA 7+’, ‘UA 13+’ and ‘UA 16+’ and the CBFC to provide a separate certificate for its exhibition on television or other media. The authority to clear the film along with the certificate has been given.

12 Supreme Court allows Sanjay Kumar Mishra to continue as director of Enforcement Directorate till 15 September
