1.India successfully tested Brahmos supersonic cruise missile :-

India successfully tested BrahMos supersonic cruise missile on Monday. The objective of the trial was to increase the working period of this missile from 10 to 15 years.

This missile has been developed from India-Russia joint venture. The Indian Army has already included three regiments of BrahMos in its fleet . All missiles are equipped with block-III versions. The specialty of the missile is that after running it, it is able to seal the targets of the land by flying up and down on its own. In this way, it escapes enemy air defense systems. 

Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman congratulated team Brahmos and DRDO for successful testing done by ITR in Balasore.

 

2.Civil Aviation Ministry issues draft of passenger declaration :-

Image result for Civil Aviation Ministry issues draft of passenger declarationMinistry of Civil Aviation issued a draft of passenger charter on Tuesday. Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha told in New Delhi that if a flight is canceled due to a mistake of the airlines, the passengers will be compensated or the ticket will be returned. If there is a delay in flight, the passengers will be compensated in different ways. Mr. Sinha said that according to this draft, there is also a proposal for seats for Divyanagara passengers. The provisions of this draft will be implemented within a month or two. According to the draft, if any passenger can cancel it within twenty four hours of ticket, then no fee will be charged.

 

3.Home Minister Rajnath Singh announced compensation for at least one crore rupees for every soldier being martyred :-

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has announced compensation of at least one crore rupees for each jawan who has been martyred for the Armed Military Forces.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that it is the duty of the Border Security Force to protect the country’s borders, but there is no limit to this duty. Addressing the gathering of force in New Delhi, Mr. Singh said that the first bullet should not be run on the neighboring country, but if the bullet is shot on the Border Security Force, the force can also retaliate and it will not be asked. Why did he do this?

The Home Minister said that most of the borders of the country connected with Bangladesh and Pakistan have been sealed.

 

4.Assam government decides to give pension to 1.6 million senior citizens :-

Assam government will provide pension to 16 lakh senior citizens of the state. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has asked Panchayat and Rural Development Department to take necessary steps in this direction to empower senior citizens. Under this initiative, the state government will provide pension to all senior citizens of the age of 60 years and above. 250 paisa per month will be provided to pensioners.  

 

5.Enforcement Directorate seized more than Rs 171 crore of absconding diamond trader Nirv Modi and seized new assets :-

Image result for Nirav ModiEnforcement Directorate has seized assets worth more than Rs 171 crore of absconding diamond trader Neerav Modi. This action was taken in connection with the investigation of Money Laundridge in the fraud case of more than $ 2 billion in Punjab National Bank. Under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the commercial premises worth Rs 72 crores 87 lacs in Mumbai and Surat, 106 bank accounts with deposits of 55 crores 12 lakhs, 15 dmat account of Rs 35 crores 86 lacs and 4 crores Seized 11 cars of more value.

 

6.After the re-election of President of Nicholas Maduro, the United States banned Venezuela more stringent economic sanctions :-

After the re-election of President of Nicholas Maduro, the United States has imposed stringent economic sanctions on Venezuela. President Donald Trump issued the order and banned his assets to repay in Venezuela for repaying debt, including the sale of property, transfer of name to anyone and banning of mortgages.

 

7.United Arab Emirates decided to give long-term visas to international investors and professionals and students :-

Image result for United Arab EmiratesThe United Arab Emirates has decided to give long-term visas to international people and professionals and students, who are highly qualified, to stay there for ten years. This decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of United Arab Emirates

 

8.Ministry of Finance compromised with 40 companies to facilitate loans to small entrepreneurs under the money scheme :-

Image result for finance ministryThe finance ministry has entered into an agreement with 40 companies, including Flipkart, Swagi, Patanjali and Amul, to facilitate loans to small entrepreneurs under the currency scheme. Financial Services Secretary Rajiv Kumar said that most of these employment companies will identify those who need loans under the money scheme.

The money scheme was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 8, 2015. Under this, loans up to Rs 10 lakh are given for non-corporate sector, non-agricultural small and micro enterprises. During last 3 years, Rs. 5, 73 thousand crores have been given.

 

9.Big cabinet decision: government employees to get home loan of 25 lakh :-

Image result for cabinet decisionThe government will now give advance loans upto Rs 25 lakh to the government servants. Not only this, the personnel will also get advance in the expansion of the house. This amount will be up to ten lakh rupees. On Monday, the state cabinet approved the proposal of the Finance Department. 

 

10.Rs 7718 crore loss in the fourth quarter of FY18 :-

Image result for SBIState Bank of India, the largest public sector bank, has issued results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2018. During this period, SBI has lost a loss of Rs 7718 crore. At the same time, the bank had a loss of Rs 3442 crore in the same period last fiscal.

 

11.Two other directors of Fortis Healthcare gave up resignation :-

For the removal of four directors, two more directors of the company have resigned on Monday before Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL) proposed extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Tuesday. In the information given to BSE on Monday, the company said that it includes two non-executive directors Harpal Singh and Sabina Vesoha. Together, the number of directors who resigned before the meeting has been reduced to three.
