1.गूगल इंडोनेशिया में सार्वजनिक वाई–फाई का विस्तार करेगा :-
भारत में एक सफल पहल के बाद, गूगल ने अपना सार्वजनिक वाई-फाई कार्यक्रम ‘गूगल स्टेशन’ इंडोनेशिया के लिये लाया है जो रेलवे स्टेशनों और अन्य स्थानों पर इंटरनेट तक पहुंच बढ़ाने में मदद करेगा।
इंडोनेशिया में सैकड़ों स्थानों पर हाई-स्पीड सार्वजनिक वाई-फाई लाने के लिए गूगल ने सीएनबी और फाइबरस्टार के साथ साझेदारी कर रहा है।
लाखों लोगों को हाई स्पीड इंटरनेट तक पहुँच बढ़ाने के लिये रेलटेल के सहयोग से गूगल ने भारत में कई रेलवे स्टेशनों पर नि: शुल्क वाई-फाई सेवा शुरू की है।
गूगल ने जनवरी 2016 में मुंबई सेंट्रल स्टेशन पर अपनी पहली नि: शुल्क वाईफाई सेवाएं शुरू कीं थी।
Google Expands Public Wi-Fi to Indonesia :-
After a successful run in India, Google has brought its public Wi-Fi programme ‘Google Station’ to Indonesia that will help improves access to Internet at railway stations and other locations.
Google is partnering with CBN and Fiberstar to bring high-speed public Wi-Fi to hundreds of locations across Indonesia.
Google, in collaboration with Railtel, has rolled out free Wi-Fi service at several railway stations in India, offering high-speed internet to millions of people.
Google launched its first free WiFi services at Mumbai Central station in January 2016.
2.रोनाल्डो बने UEFA ‘प्लेयर ऑफ दी ईयर‘ :-
रियल मैड्रिड के स्टार फॉरवर्ड क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो यूइएफए प्लेयर ऑफ द ईयर अवॉर्ड के हकदार बने।उन्होंने लियोनल मेसी और जुवेंटस के कीपर गिआनलीगी बफोन को पछाड़कर यह उपलब्धि हासिल की।
32 साल के रोनाल्डो ने रियल मैड्रिड को लगातार दूसरा चैंपियंस लीग खिताब दिलाया है, साथ ही वे पिछले सत्र में 12 गोल के साथ टूर्नामेंट का शीर्ष स्कोरर भी रहे।
यह प्रतिष्ठित अवॉर्ड 2011 से दिया जा रहा है।
पुर्तगाली दिग्गज रोनाल्डो तीसरी बार यह अवॉर्ड हासिल करने में सफल रहे। उन्होंने बार्सिलोना के अपने प्रतिद्वंद्वी 30 वर्षीय फॉरवर्ड मेसी को पीछे छोड़ा, जिनके नाम दो अवॉर्ड हैं।
इससे पहले रोनाल्डो ने 2013, 2014 और 2015-16 में यह अवॉर्ड अपने नाम किया था।
Ronaldo Becomes UEFA Player of the Year :-
Real Madrid’s star forward Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the UEFA Player of the Year Award. He achieved this achievement by overthrowing Lionel Messi and Juventus’s keeper Gianligi Buffon.
32-year-old Ronaldo has given Real Madrid the second consecutive Champions League title, as well as the top scorer of the tournament with 12 goals in the previous season.
This prestigious award is being given from 2011.
Portuguese veteran Ronaldo was successful in achieving this award for the third time. He left behind Barcelona’s rival, Forward Messi, 30, who has two nominations.
Earlier, Ronaldo won the award in 2013, 2014 and 2015-16.
3.आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस पर सरकार ने कार्यबल गठित किया :-
सरकार ने देश के आर्थिक बदलाव के लिए आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस पर एक कार्यबल गठित किया है।
आई आई टी मद्रास के डॉक्टर वी.कामाकोटि की अध्यक्षता में 18 सदस्यों के इस कार्यबल में विशेषज्ञ,शिक्षाविद, शोधकर्ता और उद्योगजगत के प्रतिनिधि होंगे। यह समिति विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में विकास के लिए बौद्धिक स्तर उन्नत करने की संभावनाओं की तलाश करेगी।
यह कार्यबल सरकार, उद्योग और शोध संस्थानों के लिए ठोस और कार्यान्वयन योग्य सिफारिशें प्रस्तुत करेगा।
वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और हार्डवेयर के क्षेत्र में तेजी से विकास के साथ, दुनिया चौथी औद्योगिक क्रांति का साक्षी है।
Government Sets up Task Force on Artificial Intelligence :-
Government has constituted a task force on Artificial Intelligence for the country’s Economic Transformation.
The 18-member panel, headed by Dr. V. Kamakoti of IIT Madras, will comprise of experts, academics, researchers and industry leaders. It will explore the possibilities to leverage Artificial Intelligence for development across various fields.
The task force will submit concrete and implementable recommendations for government, industry and research institutions.
Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, with rapid development in the fields of information technology and hardware, the world is about to witness a fourth industrial revolution.
- ताइवान ने पहला स्वदेशी उपग्रह प्रक्षेपित किया :-
द्वीप राष्ट्र के राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष संगठन (एनएसओ) ने घोषणा की है की ताइवान ने यूएस स्थित हवाई अड्डे से फोर्मोसैट -5, पहला स्वदेशी अवलोकन उपग्रह लॉन्च किया है।
2 मीटर ऊंचे और 1.2 मीटर व्यास तथा 3 बिलियन ताइवान डॉलर ($ 100 मिलियन) की लागत वाला अष्टकोणीय उपग्रह ने नॉर्वे में एक स्टेशन के साथ संपर्क किया।
उपग्रह पृथ्वी को देखने के लिए पूरक धातु-ऑक्साइड-अर्धचालक सेंसर से लैस है।
Taiwan Launches First Homegrown Satellite :-
Taiwan has launched Formosat-5, the first homegrown observation satellite, from an air base in the US, the island nation’s National Space Organisation (NSO) announced.
The octagonal satellite – 2 metres high and 1.2 metres in diameter – cost some 3 billion Taiwanese dollars ($100 million) and made contact with a station in Norway.
The satellite is equipped with Complementary Metal-oxide-semiconductor sensors to observe the Earth.
5.वार्षिक दिल्ली पुस्तक मेला का 23 वां संस्करण प्रारंभ :-
राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के प्रगति मैदान में वार्षिक दिल्ली पुस्तक मेला प्रारंभ हो गया है।
यह इंडियन पब्लिशर्स फेडरेशन के साथ मिलकर भारत व्यापार संवर्धन संगठन द्वारा आयोजित किया गया है।
इस वर्ष का विषय ‘पढ़े भारत बढे भारत’ है।
सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय का प्रकाशन प्रभाग मेले में पुस्तकों की विशाल भंडार के साथ भाग लेगा।
23rd Edition of Annual Delhi Book Fair Begins :-
The Annual Delhi Book Fair begins at Pragati Maidan in the national capital.
It is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organization in association with the Federation of Indian Publishers.
The theme this year is, ‘Padhe Bharat, Badhe Bharat’.
The Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will participate in the fair with its vast repository of books on sale.
- धनलक्ष्मी बैंक ने बैंकशोरेंस के लिये डीएचएफएल प्रामेरिका के साथ समझौता किया :-
डीएचएफएल प्रामेरिका लाइफ इंश्योरेंस कंपनी ने केरल स्थित धनलक्ष्मी बैंक के साथ अपने बैंकअशोरेंस पार्टनर के रूप में समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये। समझौते के तहत, बैंक भारत में 260 शाखाओं में खुदरा और समूह जीवन बीमा उत्पादों को अपने ग्राहकों को वितरित करेगा।
इस समझौते के साथ, कंपनी केरल, तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश और कर्नाटक में अपनी उपस्थिति को मजबूत करेगी।
इसके उत्पादों में 28 जीवन बीमा उत्पादों और छह राइडर्स शामिल हैं, जो अपने पोर्टफोलियो के अंतर्गत बच्चे के भविष्य के संरक्षण से लेकर सेवानिवृत्ति तक जीवन बीमा की जरूरतों को पूरा करते हैं।
डीपीएलआई, दीवान हाउसिंग फाइनेंस कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड की पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली सहायक कंपनी डीवाईएफएल इंवेस्टमेंट्स लिमिटेड (डीआईएल) और प्रूडेंशियल इंटरनेशनल इंश्योरेंस होल्डिंग्स लिमिटेड (पीआईआईएच) के बीच एक संयुक्त उद्यम है।
Dhanlaxmi Bank, DHFL Pramerica Tie up for Bancassurance :-
DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Company has signed on Kerala-based Dhanlaxmi Bank as its bancassurance partner, under which the latter will distribute retail and group life insurance products to its customers across 260 branches in India.
The company is in a strong position to consolidate its presence in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
It has 28 life insurance products and six riders in its products basket, fulfilling a gamut of life insurance needs from child’s future protection to retirement in its portfolio.
DPLI is a Joint Venture between DHFL Investments Limited (DIL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. and Prudential International Insurance Holdings Ltd (PIIH).
7.यूआईडीएआई ने घर–घर आधार नामांकन शुरू किया :-
यूआईडीएआई ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में बुजुर्गों, रोगियों और अन्य लोगों, जो आधार केंद्रों तक नहीं जा सकते हैं, के लिए घर-घर नामांकन सुविधा शुरू करने के लिए सीएससी इंडिया के साथ साझेदारी किया है ।
सीएससी इंडिया संपूर्ण भारत में आधार केंद्रों के कई अभियानों का प्रभारी है। देशभर में खासकर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में लगभग 2.5 लाख सीएससी केन्द्रों की सहायता से यह कई सेवाएं प्रदान करता है।
घर-घर नामांकन एक गतिशील वैन के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।
आधार कार्ड के बारे में: –
आधार भारत सरकार की ओर से अद्वितीय पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) द्वारा जारी किए गए व्यक्तियों के अद्वितीय पहचान के उद्देश्य से प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के लिए 12 अंकों का एक अद्वितीय पहचान संख्या है।
यह एक डिजिटल पहचान है जिसे सरल तरीकों का उपयोग करके सत्यापित किया जा सकता है।
यह भुगतान के सुरक्षित वितरण और सरकारी सेवाओं तक पहुंच को भी सक्षम बनाता है।
मौत प्रमाणपत्र भी जारी करने के लिए आधार कार्ड की आवश्यकता है।
UIDAI Launches Door Step Aadhar Enrollment :-
UIDAI has joined hands with CSC India for launching door step enrolment facility in the national capital for the elderly, patients and others who cannot travel the Aadhar centres.
CSC India is in charge of many operations of Aadhaar centres across India. They provide many services, especially in rural areas with about 2.5 lakh operational CSCs across the country.
The doorstep enrollment will be done via a mobile van.
About Aadhaar card:-
Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on behalf of the Government of India to individuals for the purpose of establishing the unique identity of every single person
It is a digital identity that can be verified using simple methods.
It also enables secure delivery of payments and access to government services.
Aadhaar card is required for issuing a death certificate too.
