1.Indian Railways prepares National Rail Plan NRP for India 2030

Indian Railways has prepared the National Rail Plan NRP for India 2030 . The objective of this scheme is to prepare the future railway system by the year 2030. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha said that the objective of the NRP is to lay the groundwork for the operational efficiencies and introduction of business policy to increase the share of Railways in freight freight to 45 per cent. Shri Ashwini said that the objective of this National Rail Scheme is to meet the growing future demand and increase the share of Railways in freight freight to 45 percent by the year 2050 .

2.People will be able to get 14 digit Ayushman Bharat health account number from Arogya Setu App

The National Health Authority has announced the integration of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission with the health app – Aarogya Setu . Through this 14 digit unique Ayushman Bharat health account numberThe users of Arogya Setu will be able to get the benefit of. Users can get their unique Ayushman Bharat Health Account Number under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. They can use this number to link their existing and new medical records including doctor’s consultations, lab reports and hospital records. They can share these records with registered health professional practitioners and healthcare providers and can also access other digital health services. Users can access their Ayushman Bharat Health Account Number by using their Aadhaar number and some basic demographic details such as name, date of birth, gender and address. If users do not wish to use their Aadhaar, they can use their driving license or mobile number. Users can enter their Ayushman Bharat Health Account Number https://abdm.gov.

3.Drone pilot license requirement abolished

The requirement of a drone pilot license has been abolished in the country . The notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that the pilot certificates issued from the Drone Schools recognized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation through a single window of the digital sky platform , would be sufficient for drone operations in the country. The Drones (Amendment) Rules 2022 states that no certificate will be required for operating drones weighing up to two kilograms for non-commercial purposes. Earlier , a ban has been imposed on import of drones from abroad to promote drone production in the country under Made-in-India .

4.Gujarat unveils new IT/ITES policy

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has announced a new IT/ITES policy for the next five years . The policy will provide financial incentives up to Rs 200 crore to entities willing to undertake capital expenditure . This will give employment to about one lakh youth.Will also get It also seeks to increase IT-ITES exports from the current Rs 3000 crore to Rs 25,000 crore in the next five years. Its operational period will start from the day of notification till March 31, 2027. The policy, which was launched at a formal event at a club in GIFT City in Gandhinagar, replaces the 2016-2021 policy. It increased exports by USD 2 billion (Rs 13,000 crore), IT turnover to USD 15 billion (Rs 75,000 crore). It has set an ambitious target of increasing and creating 10 lakh direct jobs. The policy provides support for both capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX) expenditure. “It is a unique model that gives industries the flexibility to plan their expenditure and address feasibility concerns.

5.UNEP ties up with Maharashtra to support ‘Majhi Vasundhara’ campaign

6.Maharashtra Health Minister announces that “Hope Express” will be launched to prevent cancer

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope announced that ” Hope Express ” will be started in the state to prevent cancer . He was speaking at the launch of state-of-the-art Mosaic-3D radiation machine at a private hospital in Kolhapur . This is the first such machine in India. The State Health Minister also promised to take the initiative to start Hope Express in every district of the State through District Scheme. He also inaugurated the Oncoprime Cancer Center online at Hattarki Hospital, Gadhinglaj. Patients from rural areas will benefit from the centre.

7.Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma inaugurated six specialized mobile immunization units at Tura Civil Hospital in West Garo Hills district in collaboration with the US Agency for International Development

Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma flagged off six specialized mobile immunization units at Tura Civil Hospital , Tura, West Garo Hills district in collaboration with US Agency for International Development (USAID) . These units consisting of doctors and nurses will also provide information to the underprivileged community on vaccination, concerns related to it and the benefits of delivering the vaccine at people’s homes. The mobile immunization units to vaccinate eligible people will go to the areas near the school and college. These units will also give precautionary doses to patients above 60 years of age with co-morbidities and frontline health workers. Chief Minister ‘ Dairy Mission ‘‘ program and laid the foundation stone of a new dairy complex in West Garo Hills district. Addressing the gathering, he said that the government is making necessary investments to increase the dairy sector and increase production in the state. National Dairy Development Program has provided a fund of Rs 10.52 lakh for the new campus.

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated a 14-and-a-half kilometer long bridge over the Ganges river in Bihar ‘s Munger via video conference. This bridge has been built on National Highway 333-B at a cost of Rs . With the construction of this bridge, the distance between Munger and Khagaria has been reduced to less than 100 km and the distance from Munger to Begusarai is less than 20 km. Shri Gadkari said that Munger is famous for its ancient history and tourism will increase with this bridge.

13.Indigenous fighter jet Tejas to participate in Singapore Airshow

The US space agency NASA has launched two science missions – ‘ Multi-Slit Solar Explorer ‘ ( MUSE ) and ‘ HelioSwarm ‘ , to increase our understanding of the Sun’s dynamics, the ever-changing space environment and the relationship between the Sun and Earth .) has announced. Both these missions will give us a deeper insight into the universe and will be important to help protect astronauts, satellites and communication signals such as GPS. The ‘Multi-Slit Solar Explorer’ (MUSE) mission will help scientists understand the factors that heat up the Sun’s corona and the explosions in the outer region that influence space weather. The ‘HelioSwarm’ mission is a group of nine spacecraft, which will help in the first multiscale in-space measurement of magnetic field fluctuations and the motion of the ‘solar wind’ known as solar wind instability.

18.For the first time, ‘Savanna’ selected an MP for ‘Karaksham’ (skilled) award.

Public Reading Room (Nashik) has decided to confer the ‘ Karaksham ‘ (Skilled) Award ( 18th Late Madhavrao Limaye Award ) to Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari . Public Reading Room Nashik, popularly known as ‘Savanna’, was established by the British in the year 1840 and is one of the oldest libraries in the state. It remains an integral part of the socio-cultural set-up of Nashik. For the first time in 18 years, the management has selected an MP for the award. Earlier ‘Savanna’ used to honor MLAs or MLCs every year for the work done by the elected representatives.
