1.मंत्रिमंडल ने राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण पेयजल कार्यक्रम को जारी रखने और पुन: संरचना को मंजूरी दी :-

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्रw मोदी की अध्य क्षता में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने राष्ट्री्य ग्रामीण पेयजल कार्यक्रम को जारी रखने और इसे निर्णायक, प्रतिस्प र्द्धी और ग्रामीण लोगों को अच्छीड गुणवत्ता पूर्ण जल की आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए योजनाओं पर निर्भरता (कार्यशीलता) पर ज्याोदा जोर देते हुए बेहतर निगरानी के साथ जारी रखने को अपनी मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है।

चतुर्थ वित्त  आयोग (एफएफसी) अवधि 2017-18 से 2019-20 के लिए इस कार्यक्रम के लिए 23,050 करोड़ रूपए की राशि मंजूर की गयी है। यह कार्यक्रम देश भर की सारी ग्रामीण जनसंख्यां को कवर करेगा। पुन: संरचना से यह कार्यक्रम लोचदार, परिणामोन्नकमुख, प्रतिस्पयर्द्धी बन सकेगा और इससे मंत्रालय सतत पाइप के जारिए पानी की आपूर्ति बढ़ाने के लक्ष्यर को प्राप्तर कर पाएगा।

The Cabinet has approved the continuation of the National Rural Drinking Water Program and the reconstruction :-

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet will continue the National Rural Drinking Water Program and ensure that it is critical, competitive and supply of good quality water to the rural people, with greater emphasis on the dependence on the schemes (efficiency) and better monitoring Has given its approval to continue.

An amount of Rs. 23,050 crore has been approved for this program for the 4th Finance Commission (FFC) period 2017-18 to 2019-20. This program will cover all the rural population across the country. With the reconstruction this program will be elastic, result oriented, competitive, and this will enable the Ministry to achieve the goal of increasing the supply of water through continuous pipes.

2.मंत्रिमंडल ने कृषि और संबंधित क्षेत्रों में भारत और फिलिपींस के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन को मंजूरी दी :-

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल नेकृषि और संबंधित क्षेत्रों में भारत और फिलिपींस के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन (एमयूओ)पर हस्ताक्षर को अपनी मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है।

इस एमओयू में धान उत्पादन और प्रसंस्करण, बहुफसली प्रणाली, शुष्क भूमि खेती प्रणाली, जैविक खेती,सॉलिड और जल अनुरक्षण एवं प्रबंधन, मृदा की उर्वरकता, रेशम कीट पालन, कृषि वाणिकी, पशुधन सुधार आदि के क्षेत्रों में सहयोग के लिए प्रावधान किया गया है।

Cabinet clears MoU between India and Philippines in agriculture and related areas :-

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has given its approval for signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and the Philippines in Agriculture and related areas.

The MoU has been provided for cooperation in the areas of paddy production and processing, multifold system, dry land farming system, organic farming, solid and water conservancy and management, soil fertility, silk pest farming, agricultural waste, livestock improvement etc.

3.बीएसएफ और पाकिस्तान रेंजर्स के महानिदेशकों के बीच साल में दो बार होने वाली वार्ता सम्पन्न हुई :-

सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) और पाकिस्तान रेंजर्स के महानिदेशकों के बीच साल में दो बार होने वाली तीन दिवसीय वार्ता यहां सम्पन्न हुई।

23 सदस्यीय भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व बीएसएफ के महानिदेशक श्री के.के. शर्मा ने किया, जबकि 19 सदस्यों के पाकिस्तानी प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व पाकिस्तान रेंजर्स (सिंध) के महानिदेशक मेजर जनरल मुहम्मद सईद ने किया।

दोनों प्रतिनिधिमंडल में संबंधित गृह और विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रतिनिधियों सहित मादक पदार्थ नियंत्रण और सर्वेक्षण विभाग के अधिकारी भी शामिल थे।

Dissidents of BSF and Pakistan Rangers held talks twice in a year :-

The three-day talks between the Border Security Force (BSF) and the DGs of Pakistan Rangers, held twice a year, are held here. The 23-member Indian delegation was led by Shri K.K. Sharma, while the 19-member Pakistani delegation was led by Maj Gen Muhammad Sayeed, Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh).

Both the delegation included representatives from the concerned Home and Foreign Ministry, including the Department of Drug Control and Survey Department.

4.मंत्रिमंडल ने आय पर करों के संबंध में दोहरे कराधान के परिहार तथा राजकोषीय अपवंचन को रोकने के लिए भारत गणराज्य की सरकार तथा किरगिज़ गणराज्य की सरकार के बीच करार के संशोधनकारी प्रोटोकॉल को मंजूरी दी :-

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्रर मोदी की अध्यकक्षता में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आय पर करों के संबंध में दोहरे कराधान के परिहार तथा राजकोषीय अपवंचन को रोकने के लिए भारत गणराज्यS की सरकार तथा किरगिज़ गणराज्यर की सरकार के बीच करार के संशोधनकारी प्रोटोकॉल को अपनी मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है।

भारत और किरगिज़ गणराज्यक के बीच डीटीएए के संशोधनकारी प्रोटोकॉल का लक्ष्य़ अनुच्छे द 26 (सूचनाओं के आदान-प्रदान) को अंतर्राष्ट्री य मानकों तक अद्यतन करना है। अद्यतित‍ अनुच्छेोद, सूचनाओं के अधिकतम संभव सीमा तक आदान-प्रदान का प्रावधान करता है।

इस डीटीएए के अनुच्छेदद 26 में नए जोड़े जा रहे पैराग्राफ 4 और 5 यह प्रावधान करते हैं कि वह राज्य जिससे इस अनुच्छेचद के तहत सूचना का अनुरोध किया जाता है, इस आधार पर सूचना से मना नहीं कर सकता कि उसका उस सूचना में कोई घरेलू कर हित नहीं है या अनुरोधित सूचना किसी बैंक अथवा किसी वित्तीिय संस्थामन, इत्यातदि द्वारा धारित है।

The Cabinet approved the amendment protocol of the agreement between Government of the Republic of India and Government of Kyrgyz Republic to curb the avoidance of double taxation and fiscal evasion in respect of taxes on income :-

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has given its approval to the amendment protocol of the agreement between the government of the Republic of India and the Government of Kyrgyz Republic to curb the avoidance of double taxation and fiscal evasion in respect of taxes on income.

The aim of the amendment protocol of DTAA between India and Kyrgyz Republic is to update Article 26 (exchange of information) to international standards. The updated article provides for the exchange of information to the maximum extent possible.

Paragraphs 4 and 5, being added to Article 26 of this DTAA, provide that the state from which information is requested under this article, Can not refuse the information on the basis that there is no domestic tax interest in that information, or the information requested by any bank or any financial institution, etc.

5.बेल ने 159.91 करोड़ रुपये का अंतिम लाभांश दिया :-

सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की नवरत्न रक्षा कंपनी, भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक लिमिटेड (बेल) ने वित्त वर्ष 2016-17 के दौरान भारत सरकार को तीन किस्तों में 225 प्रतिशत का कुल लाभांश का भुगतान किया है।

बेल के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंधक निदेशक श्री एम.वी. गौतमा ने 105 प्रतिशत का तीसरा और अंतिम लाभांश के 159.9 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य का चैक यहां रक्षा मंत्री श्रीमती निर्मला सीतारामन को दिया। 30 प्रतिशत (10 रुपये के मूल्य वाले शेयर के अंकित मूल्य पर) का पहला अंतरिम लाभांश जनवरी, 2017 में सरकार को दिया गया था और 90 प्रतिशत (10 रुपये के मूल्य वाले शेयर के अंकित मूल्य पर) का दूसरा अंतरिम लाभांश मार्च, 2017 में सरकार को दिया गया था।

Bell gave a final dividend of Rs 159.91 crore :-

Public sector Navratna company, Bharat Electronic Limited (Bell), paid a total dividend of 225 percent in three installments during the financial year 2016-17.

Chairman and Managing Director of Bell Mr. M.V. Gautama gave a check of Rs 159.9 crore worth of third and final dividend of 105 percent to the Defense Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman here. The first interim dividend of 30 percent (at the face value of the value of Rs 10 a share) was given to the government in January 2017 and the second interim dividend of 90 percent (at the face price of Rs 10 rupees in value) in March, 2017 Was given to the government.

Under the National Entrepreneurship Award 2017, the Consultation Category (Government) Award was given to Dr. Renu Swarup, senior adviser to DBT :-

Dr. Renu Swarup, Senior Advisor, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology was awarded the Consultation Category (Government) Award under the National Entrepreneurship Award 2017. Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley presented the award in the National Entrepreneurship National Award Ceremony, 2017, held in New Delhi.

Dr. Renu is a senior consultant in the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology. He has an additional charge of Managing Director of Public Sector Company Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).

Dr. Renu Swarup received the PhD in Genetics Science and Plant Breeding. After completing PhD, he completed the Commonwealth Scholarship from The John Ins Center located in Norwich, England. After this, he returned to India and took charge of science manager in the biotechnology department of the Ministry of Science and Technology in 1989.
