1.मोबाइल एप ‘जीएसटी रेट्स फाइंडर’ लांच :-
केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री श्री अरुण जेटली ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में अपने कक्ष में एक मोबाइल एप ‘जीएसटी रेट्स फाइंडर’ लांच किया जो फिलहाल एंड्रॉयड प्लेटफॉर्म पर उपलब्ध है और यह जल्द ही आईओएस प्लेटफॉर्म पर भी उपलब्ध हो जाएगा।
इस मोबाइल एप से उपयोगकर्ताओं (यूजर्स) को विभिन्न वस्तुओं और सेवाओं की जीएसटी दरों को खोजने में मदद मिलेगी।
सीबीईसी ने भी एक जीएसटी रेट फाइंडर अपने पोर्टल पर उपलब्ध कराया है, ताकि करदाताओं को वस्तुओं और सेवाओं की आपूर्ति पर लागू जीएसटी दर के बारे में पता लग सके।
कोई भी करदाता अपनी आपूर्ति पर लागू सीजीएसटी, एसजीएसटी, यूटीजीएसटी दर और मुआवजा उपकर को खोज सकता है।
Centre launches GST Rates Finder app :-
The Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley launched a mobile app “GST Rates Finder” in his chamber in the national capital which is now available on android platform and will soon be available on iOS platform as well.
This Mobile app helps users to find rates of GST for various goods and services.
CBEC has also provided a GST rate finder on its portal to help the taxpayers know the applicable GST rate on their supplies of goods and services.
A taxpayer can search for applicable CGST, SGST, UTGST rate and Compensation Cess on a supply.
2.अमेरिका में पूर्व भारतीय राजदूत नरेश चंद्रा का निधन :-
अमेरिका में पूर्व भारतीय राजदूत नरेश चंद्रा का गोवा के एक अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। वह 82 वर्ष के थे।
चंद्रा 1990-92 तक कैबिनेट सचिव के रूप में कार्यरत थे और 1991 से 2001 तक अमेरिका में भारतीय राजदूत रहे।
उन्हें 2007 में भारत के दूसरे सबसे बड़े नागरिक पुरस्कार, पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित किया गया।
Former Indian Ambassador to the US Naresh Chandra passes away :-
Former Indian Ambassador to the US Naresh Chandra died at a hospital in Goa. He was 82.
Chandra had served as the Cabinet Secretary from 1990-92 and was the Indian Ambassador to the US from 1996 to 2001.
He was awarded India’s second highest civil awards, the Padma Vibhushan, in 2007.
3.बैंगलुरु सामाजिक न्याय पर सम्मेलन आयोजित करेगा :-
तीन दिवसीय बाबासाहेब बीआर अंबेडकर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सामाजिक न्याय सम्मेलन 21 से 23 जुलाई को बेंगलुरु में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
कर्नाटक सरकार द्वारा आयोजित सम्मेलन में कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी, मानव अधिकार कार्यकर्ता मार्टिन लूथर किंग तृतीय और 83 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय, 149 राष्ट्रीय और 80 राज्य स्तरीय वक्ता सम्मेलन में लगभग 2000 प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित करेंगे।
Bengaluru to host conference on social justice :-
A three-day Babasaheb B.R. Ambedkar international conference on social justice will be held in Bengaluru from July 21 to 23.
Organised by the Karnataka government, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, human rights advocate and activist Martin Luther King III, and 83 international, 149 national and 80 state-level speakers will address about 2,000 participants at the conference.
4.एशियाई एथलेटिक्स में भारत पदक तालिका में सबसे ऊपर रहा :-
भारत एशियाई एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप के इतिहास में पहली बार चीन को दूसरे स्थान पर धकेलते हुए पदक तालिका में शीर्ष पर रहा।
भारत ने 29 पदक (12 स्वर्ण, 5 रजत और 12 कांस्य पदक) के साथ अपने सर्वोच्च स्थान के साथ चार दिवसीय चैंपियनशिप का समापन किया।
चीन इस संस्करण में 8 स्वर्ण, 7 रजत और 5 कांस्य पदक के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर रहा।
एशियाई एथलेटिक्स चैम्पियनशिप 2017 कलिंगा स्टेडियम, भुवनेश्वर में आयोजित की गई थी।
India tops medal tally at Asian Athletics :-
India topped the medal tally for first time in the history of Asian Athletics Championships, pushing China to second spot.
India ended the four-day championships on top with their highest ever medal haul of 29 medals (12 gold, 5 silver and 12 bronze.
China ended this edition on second position with 8 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze.
Asian Athletics Championship 2017 was held in Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
5.अहमदाबाद भारत का पहला विश्व धरोहर शहर बना :-
15 वीं शताब्दी में सुल्तान अहमद शाह द्वारा स्थापित अहमदाबाद शहर को भारत का पहला विश्व धरोहर शहर घोषित किया गया है।
पोलैंड के क्राको में एक बैठक के बाद यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर समिति (डब्ल्यूएचसी) ने इसकी घोषणा की।
यह अब पेरिस, काहिरा, एडिनबर्ग और उपमहाद्वीप में दो शहरों, श्रीलंका के गाले व नेपाल के भक्तपुर जैसे विरासत शहरों के विशेषाधिकार प्राप्त क्लब में शामिल हो गया है।
Ahmedabad becomes India’s first World Heritage City :-
The Walled City of Ahmedabad, founded by Sultan Ahmed Shah in the 15th century, has been declared India’s first World Heritage City.
The World Heritage Committee (WHC) of UNESCO made the announcement following a meeting in Poland’s Krakwo.
It has now joined the privileged club of heritage cities like Paris, Cairo, Edinburg and two cities in the subcontinent, Bhaktpur in Nepal and Galle in Sri Lanka.
6.सिंधु ‘स्पोर्ट्सपर्सन ऑफ द इयर’ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित :-
रियो ओलंपिक की रजत पदक विजेता पी वी सिंधु को मारुति सुजुकी स्पोर्ट्स अवार्ड्स में ‘स्पोर्ट्सपर्सन ऑफ द इयर’ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।
सिंधु के कोच पी गोपीचंद को कोच ऑफ दी इयर का पुरस्कार मिला जबकि फ्लाइंग सिख मिल्खा सिंह को लिविंग लीजेंड ऑफ द इयर पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।
युवा भारतीय क्रिकेटर के एल राहुल को गेमचेंजर ऑफ दी इयर के साथ सम्मानित किया गया।
2008 बीजिंग ओलंपिक के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता और ओलंपिक में व्यक्तिगत स्पर्द्धा में देश के एकमात्र स्वर्ण पदक विजेता, अभिनव बिंद्रा को लाइफटाईम अचीवमेंट पुरस्कार दिया गया।
Sindhu bags ‘Sportsperson of the Year’ award :-
Rio Olympics silver medallist P V Sindhu was bestowed with the Sportsperson of the Year award at the Maruti Suzuki Sports Awards.
Sindhu’s coach P Gopichand received the Coach of the Year award while the Flying Sikh Milkha Singh was given the Living Legend of the Year award.
Young India cricketer K L Rahul was awarded with Gamechanger of the Year award.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medallist and the country’s sole gold medal winner in individual events at Olympics, Abhinav Bindra was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.
