1.राष्ट्रपति कोविंद ने अदीस अबाबा यूनिवर्सिटी में छात्रों को संबोधित किया :-
राष्ट्रपति श्री रामनाथ कोविंद ने जिबूती और इथियोपिया की अपनी चार दिवसीय यात्रा की समाप्ति से पहले इथियोपिया के सबसे पुराने विश्व विद्यालय, अदीस अबाबा यूनिवर्सिटी में छात्र समुदाय को संबोधित किया।
इस अवसर पर राष्ट्रपपति ने कहा कि शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सहयोग इथियोपिया के साथ भारत की वचनबद्धता का प्रमुख बिन्दुष है। इथियोपिया ने जब अपने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र का विस्तािर करने के प्रयास की शुरूआत की, प्रारम्भिक और सैकेंडरी स्कूइल शिक्षा की पढ़ाई के लिए यहां भारतीय अध्यापकों को आमंत्रित किया गया
President Kovind addresses students at Addis Ababa University; says education is fulcrum of Indian engagement with Ethiopia and Africa :-
The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, addressed the academic and student community at Addis Ababa University, the oldest university in Ethiopia, (October 6, 2017) before concluding his four-day State Visit to Djibouti and Ethiopia.
Speaking on the occasion, the President said that cooperation in education has been the fulcrum of Indian engagement with Ethiopia. When Ethiopia embarked on its efforts to expand its education sector, Indian teachers were invited here to teach in elementary and secondary schools.
2.प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी डिजीटल साक्षरता अभिनंदन समारोह को संबोधित करेंगे :-
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 7 अक्तूबर, 2017 को आईआईटी गांधीनगर में डिजीटल साक्षरता अभिनंदन समारोह को संबोधित करेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण डिजीटल साक्षरता अभियान (पीएमजीडीआईएसएचए) सरकार की डिजीटल इंडिया पहल का एक अभिन्न अंग है।
इस योजना से ग्रामीण भारत में 6 करोड़ नागरिक डिजीटली साक्षर हो सकेंगे। इस समारोह में डिजीटल इस्तेमाल/डिजीटल वित्तीय कारोबार जैसे मुद्दों की ओर ध्यान दिलाकर डिजीटल साक्षरता के महत्व को उजागर किया जाएगा और लोगों को डिजीटली अधिकार सम्पन्न बनाकर सूचना, ज्ञान, और कौशल तक उनकी पहुंच प्रदान करने में सहायता दी जाएगी।
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to address Digital Saksharata Abhinandan Samaroh :-
Digital Saksharata Abhinanadan Samaroh will be addressed by Hon’ Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on October 7, 2017 at IIT Gandhinagar. Pradhanmantri Grameen Digital Saksharata Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) is an integral component of Digital India Initiative of the Government.
The scheme envisage to make 6 crore citizens digitally literate in rural India. The function will highlight the significance of digital literacy in addressing issue of digital divide/promote digital financial transactions and support in providing access to information, knowledge and skill there by leading to digitally empowered society.
3.डॉ. जितेन्द्र सिंह ‘गवर्नेंस में जीआईएस प्रौद्योगिकी के उपयोग’ पर अगले सप्ताह सूरत में आयोजित होने वाली कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन करेंगे :-
भारत सरकार का प्रशासनिक सुधार एवं लोक शिकायत विभाग (डीएआरपीजी) अगले सप्ताlह गुजरात के सूरत में सरदार पटेल लोक प्रशासन संस्था न (एसपीआईपीए) के सहयोग से ‘गवर्नेंस में जीआईएस प्रौद्योगिकी के उपयोग’ की भूमिका पर एक कार्यशाला आयोजित करेगा।
केन्द्री य पूर्वोत्तलर क्षेत्र विकास राज्यर मंत्री (स्व्तंत्र प्रभार), पीएमओ, कार्मिक, लोक शिकायत, पेंशन, परमाणु ऊर्जा एवं अंतरिक्ष राज्यू मंत्री डॉ. जितेन्द्रे सिंह 10 अक्टूरबर 2017 को इस कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन करेंगे, जो पूरे दिन चलेगी।
Dr Jitendra Singh to inaugurate a Workshop on “Application of GIS technology in Governance” in Surat next week :-
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, in association with the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) is organizing a Workshop in Surat, Gujarat next week on the role of Application of GIS technology in Governance.
The day-long Workshop will be inaugurated by the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh on October 10, 2017.
4.प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी गुजरात में 5825 करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाली चार राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखेंगे :-
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी गुजरात के द्वारका में 5825 करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाली चार राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखेंगे।
सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग, शिपिंग और जल संसाधन, नदी विकास एवं गंगा संरक्षण मंत्री श्री नितिन गडकरी और सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग, शिपिंग और रसायन एवं उर्वरक राज्य मंत्री श्री मनसुख एल. मंडाविया भी इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री के साथ होंगे।
प्रधानमंत्री एनएच-51 पर बेत द्वारका और ओखा के बीच केबल धारित सिग्नेचर ब्रिज के निर्माण की आधारशिला रखेंगे। इस पुल की परियोजना लागत 962 करोड़ रुपये है। इस दौरान जिन अन्य परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखी जाएगी, उनमें 1600 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से एनएच-51 के 116.24 किलोमीटर लम्बे पोरबंदर-द्वारका खंड को चार लेन का बनाना, 370 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से एनएच-51 के 93.56 किलोमीटर लम्बे गडू-पोरबंदर खंड को 2/4 लेन का बनाना और 2893 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से एनएच-47 एवं एनएच-27 के 201.31 किलोमीटर लम्बे अहमदाबाद-राजकोट खंड को छह लेन का बनाना शामिल हैं।
PM Shri Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone for four National Highways projects worth Rs 5825 Crore in Gujarat :-
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for four National Highways projects worth Rs 5825 Crore at Dwarka in Gujarat. Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Shri Nitin Gadkari and MoS Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Chemicals & Fertilizer Shri Mansukh L Mandavia will accompany the Prime Minister.
PM will lay the foundation for construction of Cable Stayed Signature Bridge between Beyt Dwarka and Okha on NH-51. The project cost of the bridge is Rs 962 crore. The other projects for which foundation will be laid include 4 laning of 116.24 km of Porbandar-Dwarka section of NH-51 at a cost of Rs 1600 crore, 2/4 laning of 93.56 km of Gadu-Porbandar section of NH-51 at a cost of Rs 370 crore and 6 laning of 201.31 km Ahmedabad-Rajkot section of NH-47 and NH-27 at a cost of Rs 2893 crore.
5.केन्द्री य गृह सचिव ने आपदा जोखिम कम करने के बारे में प्रधानमंत्री के 10 सूत्री एजेंडा पर राष्ट्री य कार्यकारिणी की विशेष बैठक की अध्यवक्षता की :-
केन्द्री य गृह सचिव श्री राजीव गाबा ने आपदा जोखिम कम करने के बारे में प्रधानमंत्री के 10 सूत्री एजेंडा के बारे में सभी साझेदारों को संवेदनशील बनाने के लिए और इसे लागू करने के बारे में चर्चा के लिए राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी की विशेष बैठक की यहां अध्यक्षता की।
बैठक में राष्ट्री य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (एनडीएमए), एनईसी के सदस्यर, राहत आयुक्तर/सचिव (आपदा प्रबंधन) और राज्यद और संघ शासित प्रदेशों के प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुये।

The Union Home Secretary Shri Rajiv Gauba chaired a special meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to sensitize all the stakeholders about the Prime Minister’s 10 Point Agenda on Disaster Risk Reduction and to discuss implementation of the same, here.
The meeting was attended by Members of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Members of NEC, Relief Commissioners/Secretaries (Disaster Management) & representatives of the States and Union Territories.

7.राष्ट्रपति भारत जल सप्ताह 2017 का उद्घाटन करेंगे :-
राष्ट्रपति श्री रामनाथ कोविंद 10 अक्टूबर, 2017 को नई दिल्ली में केंद्रीय जल संसाधन, नदी विकास एवं गंगा संरक्षण मंत्री श्री नितिन गडकरी और केन्द्रीय जल संसाधन, नदी विकास एवं गंगा संरक्षण राज्य मंत्रियों श्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल और डॉ. सत्यपाल सिंह की मौजूदगी में भारत जल सप्ताह-2017 का उद्घाटन करेंगे। भारत और 13 अन्य देशों के लगभग 1500 प्रतिनिधि इस पांच दिवसीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आयोजन में भाग लेंगे। भारत जल सप्ताह-2017 की थीम है ‘समावेशी विकास के लिए जल एवं ऊर्जा’।

President Shri Ram Nath Kovind will inaugurate India Water Week – 2017 on October 10, 2017 in New Delhi in the presence of Union Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Shri Nitin Gadkari and Union Ministers of State for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal and Shri Dr. Satya Pal Singh. About 1500 delegates from India and 13 other countries will attend the five day international event. The theme of India Water Week – 2017 is “Water and Energy for Inclusive Growth”.
8.9 अक्टूबर को श्रीमती मेनका गांधी द्वारा नई दिल्ली में भागीदार गैर–सरकारी संगठनों के पहले सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन :-
9 अक्टूबर, 2017 को नई दिल्ली में महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा भागीदार गैर–सरकारी संगठनों के साथ पहले सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस सम्मेलन का विषय ‘महिलाओं और बच्चों के लिए नीतियों, योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों को लागू करना– चुनौतियां और समाधान’।
