1.Union Home Minister and Minister of Road Transport and Highways laid the foundation stone of Andaman Trunk Road in Diglipur of Andaman Nicobar Islands :-

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of Andaman Trunk Road in Diglipur of Andaman Nicobar Islands.

Both the ministers are on a two-day tour of the Union Territory. Roads will be widened to 56 kilometers from the Austrian Island of Northern Andaman to Kalwa Junction and it will expand.

 

2.Vigilance on the Indo-Bangladesh border has been increased – DG of Border Security Force K. Sharma :-
