1. IGI एयरपोर्ट पर अब नहीं दिखेंगी लंबी-लंबी कतार, गृह मंत्रालय ने लिया ये फैसला :- गृह मंत्रालय ने दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय (आइजीआइ) हवाई अड्डे के आव्रजन काउंटरों पर तैनात करने के लिए 1000 अधिकारियों को हायर करने का फैसला लिया है। मंत्रालय ने लंबी कतारों को खत्म करने और यात्रा की कठिनाइयां दूर करने के लिए यह कदम उठाने का फैसला लिया है। गृह मंत्रालय के एक अधिकारी ने मंगलवार को बताया कि सक्षम अधिकारी ने आव्रजन ब्यूरो को 1000 आव्रजन सहायकों की भर्ती करने की मंजूरी दी है। इन सहायकों की नियुक्ति ठेका आधारित होगी।
350 उच्च श्रेणी के पदों को निम्न श्रेणी में बदलने को भी मंजूरी दी गई है। इससे गुप्तचर ब्यूरो और केंद्रीय सशस्त्र बल के पूर्व कर्मचारियों की ठेका आधार पर नियुक्ति की जा सकेगी। अतिरिक्त कर्मियों की तैनाती से आव्रजन काउंटरों पर ज्यादा संख्या में लोग होंगे और यात्रियों को पेशेवर एवं सुगम सेवा मुहैया कराई जा सकेगी। अधिकारी ने हालांकि यह नहीं बताया कि कब यह कदम उठाया जाएगा।

The Ministry has decided to take this step to eliminate long queues and remove the difficulties of traveling. An official of the Home Ministry said on Tuesday that the competent authority has approved the immigration bureau to recruit 1000 immigration assistants. The appointment of these assistants will be contract-based.
It has also been approved to convert 350 posts of upper class to lower category. This will enable appointment of intelligence bureaus and former Central Armed Forces employees on contractual basis. Due to the deployment of additional personnel, there will be a large number of people on immigration counters and a professional and accessible service will be provided to the passengers. The official however did not tell when this step will be taken.
2. उत्तर प्रदेश में कहीं रिमझिम तो कहीं झमाझम बारिश से मौसम सर्द, बढ़ी कंपकंपी :- मंगलवार शाम को उत्तर प्रदेश में कही रिमझिम तो कहीं झमाझम बारिश हुई। जिससे यूपी के पश्चिमी इलाके का मौसम सर्द हो गया। कड़ाके की ठंड में बारिश कंपकंपी बढ़ रही है। गाजियाबाद, मेरठ, बरेली, हरदोई और आसपास के इलाकों तक होते हुए बारिश की रिमझिम यूपी की राजधानी तक पहुंच गई है। तेज हवाओं ने इस मौसम को और सर्द बना दिया है। नमी भरे बादल पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश की ओर रुख किए हैं।ऐसे में सड़कों पर गमनागमन प्रभावित हो गया है। फुटपाथ पर रहने वालों के लिए बारिश से बचाव कठिन हो गया है। उत्तर प्रदेश के अन्य इलाकों में भी तापमान गिरने लगा है। लगभग पूरे प्रदेश में बदली छाने लगी है। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक बुधवार को दिन भर बदली छायी रहेगी। पूर्वी और मध्य यूपी में भी बारिश की संभावना है।

3. रेलवे इंजीनियरों का कमाल रूड़की में दस घंटे में बनाया कंक्रीट का पुल :- मुरादाबाद रेलवे के इंजीनियर लगातार तकनीक का कमाल दिखा रहे हैं। अंग्रेजों के जमाने में बने पुल को तोड़कर नए पुल बना रहे हैं। मुरादाबाद रेल मंडल में सबसे पहले तीन जनवरी को नजीबाबाद के पास बुंदकी स्टेशन से थोड़ा आगे सात घंटे में पुराना पुल तोड़कर नए बनाया और ट्रेन दौड़ा दी थी। इसके शाहजहांपुर और बालामऊ के बीच टोडरपुर स्टेशन के पास नौ जनवरी को साढ़े पांच घंटे में नया पुल बनाया। अब रुड़की और इकबालपुर के बीच लकड़ी के स्लीपर वाले पुल को कंक्रीट का बनाया। सोमवार को टीम ने 150 साल पुराने पुल को तोड़कर दस घंटे में तैयार कर दिया।
रेलवे की इंजीनियङ्क्षरग विभाग की टीम ने इस काम के लिए पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में सुरंग बनाने और बड़ी-बड़ी चïट्टानों को तोड़कर हटाने वाली क्रेन व मशीन मंगाई। रेलवे अधिकारियों को पता था कि 6.1 मीटर लंबे और तीन मीटर ऊंचे सुरखी चूना वाले पुल को तोडऩा आसान नहीं है। टीम ने सोमवार सुबह 11.50 बजे बजे काम शुरू किया। चूने से बने पुल ने चुनौती खड़ी की। टीम ने कंक्रीट ब्लॉक से 10.10 घंटे में नया पुल बना दिया।

6. चीन में खोदाई में मिला सबसे बड़ा ताओवादी मंदिर का खंडहर, 1930 में हुआ था तबाह :- चीन में चार साल की खोदाई के बाद सबसे बड़े ताओवादी मंदिर के खंडहर को खोज निकाला गया है। इस मंदिर का निर्माण सांग वंश (साल 960 से 1279) में किया गया था और साल 1930 में आग में ध्वस्त होने तक इसमें पूजा होती थी। पुरातत्वविदों ने भी चीन के इस सबसे बड़े मंदिर के स्थान की पुष्टि की है। चीन के नेशनल म्यूजियम के पुरातत्वविद शिन लिक्सियांग ने बताया कि ग्रेट शांगकिंग पैलेस चीनी इतिहास के कई सम्राटों के लिए पूजा स्थल और ताओ धर्म के ङोंगई संप्रदाय के लिए प्रमुख स्थान था। यह पैलेस चीनी ताओवादी मास्टर को समर्पित किया गया था।
