1.चीन और पाक के साथ तनातनी के बीच राष्ट्रपति आज लेह का दौरा करेंगे :-
चीन और पाकिस्तान के साथ जारी तनातनी के बीच भारत के राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद सोमवार को जम्मू एवं कश्मीर (लेह) का दौरा करेंगे।
वे लेह में सभी पाँच लद्दाख स्काउट बटालियनों तथा लद्दाख स्काउट रेजीमेन्टल सेंटर को ध्वज प्रदान करेंगे। इस कार्यक्रम में सेना प्रमुख जनरल बिपिन रावत भी मौजूद रहेंगे। दिल्ली लौटने से पहले वे महाबोधि अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय ध्यान केन्द्र भी जाएंगे।
The President will visit Leh today, between China and Pak :-
Leh India’s President Ramnath Kovind will visit Jammu and Kashmir (Leh) on Monday between the ongoing tensions between China and Pakistan.
They will provide flag to all five Ladakh Scout battalions in Leh and Ladakh Scout Regimental Center.
Army Chief General Bipin Rawat will also be present in this program. Before returning to Delhi, they will also visit Mahabodhi International Meditation Center.
- व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने कुदाशेव निकोले रिश्तोविच को भारत में नया राजदूत नियुक्त किया :-
रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने कुदाशेव निकोले रिश्तोविच को भारत में नया राजदूत नियुक्त किया है.
रूस के विदेश मंत्रालय सचिवालय के डिप्टी डायरेक्टर जनरल रिश्तोविच दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया के विशेष जानकार हैं.इससे पहले रिश्तोविच वर्ष 2014-2015 में माइक्रोनेशिया और मार्शल द्वीप समूह में रूसी राजदूत के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं दे चुके हैं.
वह दोनों देशों के मध्य मधुर सम्बन्ध कायम रखने के लिए जाने जाते हैं.
Tata Power, First Power Utility to Use QR Code :-
Tata Power has become the first power utility to introduce a QR code based bill payments system in India.
The company said though this functionality of bill payments through a QR code has been introduced in other service industries, it will be launched in the power industry for the first time in India by Tata Power.
According to the Company, the QR code linked to Unified Payments Interface (UPI) will be printed on the electricity bills. The customers can scan the QR code with BHIM app or any other UPI linked bank app and pay their bills without any hassle.
3.केंद्र सरकार ने हरित दीवाली स्वस्थ दीवाली अभियान का शुभारंभ किया :-
प्रदूषण स्तर कम करने हेतु केंद्र सरकार ने हरित दीवाली स्वस्थ दीवाली अभियान का शुभारंभ किया. हरित दीवाली स्वस्थ दीवाली अभियान को सफल बनाने हेतु केंद्रीय पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने दिल्ली और एनसीआर के लगभग 800 स्कूली बच्चों को प्रेरित किया.केंद्रीय जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने बच्चों से बम-पटाखों में मौजूद रसायनों और उसके मानव शरीर के विभिन्न अंगों पर पड़ने वाले प्रभावों की जानकारी दी. केन्द्रीय मंत्री डॉ.
हर्षवर्धन ने बच्चों को हरित और स्वस्थ दीवाली की शपथ दिलायी.
Lakshya Sen Wins Bulgaria Open International Series :-
Young Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen clinched the Bulgaria Open International Series title after notching up a hard-fought win over Croatia’s Zvonimir Durkinjak in the men’s singles final in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In two months time, he will be playing Vietnam Grand Prix and then it would be a junior World championship.
Last year, the Indian had won the India International Series and clinched a bronze at the CPB Badminton and Sports Science Training Center in Thailand.
4.केंद्र सरकार ने 6 अपाचे अटैक हेलिकॉप्टर खरीद को स्वीकृति प्रदान की :-
डिफेंस पर्चेस क्लियर करने वाली रक्षा अधिग्रहण परिषद (डीएसी) की मीटिंग 17 अगस्त 2017 को दिल्ली में हुई. भारत इस एएच-64ई अपाचे हेलीकॉप्टर के साथ अमेरिका से संबद्ध उपकरण, स्पेयर पार्ट्स, प्रशिक्षण एवं गोला-बारूद भी लेगा. बैठक की अध्यक्षता डिफेंस और फाइनेंस मिनिस्टर अरुण जेटली ने की. इन छह अपाचे जंगी हेलिकॉप्टरों की खरीद पर कुल 4,168 करोड़ का खर्च आएगा. इसके अलावा डीएसी ने यूक्रेन से दो गैस टर्बाइन सेट भी खरीदने को मंजूरी दे दी.
Sohail Mahmood- Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India :-
Sohail Mahmood assumed his charge as the Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India, after his predecessor Abdul Basit announced retirement before his tenure was scheduled to end.
Mahmood, who joined Pakistan’s Foreign Service in 1985, had discharged his responsibilities in Islamabad’s diplomatic mission in Washington, New York, Ankara and Bangkok.
He is taking charge of his office at the time when bilateral ties between the two countries are tense.
5.फार्चून की सालाना 40 अंडर सूची में भारतीय मूल के पांच लोग सम्मिलित :-
अमेरिका की पत्रिका फार्चून ने वर्ष 2017 की सर्वाधिक प्रभावी युवा लोगों की वार्षिक सूची जारी की है. फार्चून द्वारा जारी की गई इस सूची में आयरलैंड के प्रधानमंत्री लियो वरादकर सहित भारतीय मूल के पांच लोग शामिल किये गये हैं. सूची में उन लोगों को प्राथमिकता दी गयी है जिन्होंने अपन ने काम से अन्य व्यक्तियों को प्रोत्साहित किया. यह वह लोग हैं जिनकी उम्र 40 साल से कम है और अपना काम कर रहे हैं.
GM India Appoints Sanjiv Gupta as President, MD :-
General Motors India announced the appointment of Sanjiv Gupta as the new President and Managing Director of the company.
The current President and Managing Director Kaher Kazem will hand over the reins of the company to Gupta, who is Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1.
Kazem has been appointed as the President and CEO of GM Korea.
Gupta will combine his role as GM India President and Managing Director with his finance leadership responsibilities.
