1.Afghanistan’s provincial deputy governor kidnapped in Pakistan :-

Unidentified gunmen kidnapped in Afghanistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, Deputy Governor of East Kunar province of Kazi Mohammad Nabi Ahmadi of Afghanistan.

He is also the leader of an Afghan clan and Gulbuddin Hikmatyer Hizb-e-Islami.

So far no group has taken responsibility for kidnapping Ahmadis who came to Pakistan for treatment.

According to the Pakistani media, Ahmadi’s brother Habibullah has contacted the police and told them that Ahmadi had come to Peshawar for treatment of kidney disease.

 

2.Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh meets Iraqi Foreign Minister in Baghdad :-

Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh called on Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim-al-Ishaikar in Baghdad and discussed various issues.

Mr. Singh has gone to Iraq to meet senior officials to coordinate the mission of looking for 39 Indian nationals missing in Iraq.

They are also gathering solid information about the missing Indians.

 

3.Partnership Summit in India-United Arab Emirates begins today in Dubai :-

A two-day India-United Arab Emirates partnership summit is going on in Dubai today. Its purpose is to promote mutual trade and investment between the two countries.

The subject of the conference is to implement investment proposals. The main projects in India are to be completed in collaboration with the traders and investors of the United Arab Emirates.

Jammu and Kashmir’s Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb A. Drubo will also attend the conference. They will give a statement on investment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

4.Several measures taken by Madhya Pradesh to solve solid waste :-

Several measures have been taken for resolving solid waste in Madhya Pradesh. Under Swachh Bharat Mission, all the 378 urban bodies of the state are divided into 26 parts.

Organic fertilizers and fertilizers are being created through public-private partnerships. 41 billion rupees are being invested in these projects across the state .

Work on all 26 projects of waste and power generation are going on fast. Under this , power plants are being planted in waste from Bhopal , Indore , Gwalior , Rewa and Ratlam.

The production of ten MW of waste has started in Jabalpur cluster. In the 78 bodies of the state, about three thousand five hundred tons of garbage is collected every day. Using itThe target of 72 MW power generation has been targeted.

At the same time , 20 projects to make manure from garbage are being set up at a cost of one thousand three hundred and 26 crores in which about 450 tonnes of organic manure will also be made by collecting and processing of litter from home .

 

5.Only one candidate has filed for the election of urban bodies in Uttar Pradesh :-

On the first day of filing of nomination in the first phase of urban local bodies elections in UP, only one candidate has deposited his own expenses.

Last date for filing of nomination is November 6 .

According to Chief Election Commissioner of the state SK Agarwal, the elections will be held in three phases on November 22, November 26 and November 29

 

6.Sensex new record of 33,295 points, Nifty new record :-

The Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange rose to a new record high of 33,295 points in the opening trade today .

On the National Stock Exchange, the Nifty also reached a new record of 10,369 points.

Public sector enterprises , durable consumer goods , infrastructure and vehicle companies were operating in profits. Positive Asian signs also strengthened the market.

Earlier , the Sense touched the record level of 33,286.51 points during the trading on October 27 . Earlier on Friday, the Nifty touched the record level of 10,366.15 points during the trade .

 

7.Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Chief Minister Raghubar Das will inaugurate Jharkhand Mining Exhibition :-

Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das will inaugurate a three-day Jharkhand mining exhibition at Prabhat Tara Ground in Ranchi today.

This exhibition will last till Wednesday. There are proposals for auction of 23 quarries during this period .

 

8.Railways to invest $ 150 billion in next 5 years, get 10 lakh jobs: Piyush Goyal :-

Railways is planning to invest $ 150 billion in the next five years . This will create one million jobs. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that the railways ‘ new direction ‘ are trying to convey.

He said that in the next five years, if the investment in the railway sector is seen as an employment hike, only one million new jobs will be created in this area.

In a program, Goyal said that his ministry is focusing on completion of complete electrification of railway lines in four years.

In the earlier scheme it was to be completed in 10 years. Completion of electrification work will help reduce losses to about 30 % in the cost of the railways running the deficit .
