1.आयरलैंड में गर्भपात पर कड़े कानूनों को लेकर होगा जनमत संग्रह :-
आयरलैंड के प्रधानमंत्री और भारतीय मूल के लियो वरदकर ने बताया है कि गर्भपात के ज्यादातर तरीकों और स्थितियों पर लगे संवैधानिक प्रतिबंधों को हटाने के संबंध में एक जनमत संग्रह के माध्यम से देश की जनता फैसला करेगी। वरदकर ने आयरलैंड के संविधान में आठवें संशोधन पर जनमत संग्रह के संबंध में विस्तृत चर्चा के लिए कैबिनेट की एक विशेष बैठक बुलाई थी। बैठक के बाद उन्होंने उक्त जानकारी दी। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि मतदाताओं से यह पूछा जाएगा कि वह संशोधन को बरकरार रखना चाहते हैं, या इसे वापस लेना चाहते हैं, या फिर वह गर्भपात पर कानून बनाने का पूर्ण अधिकार संसद को देना चाहते हैं। साल 1983 के संशोधन में एक मां को और गर्भ में पल रहे बच्चे को जीने का बराबर का अधिकार दिया गया है। रोमन कैथलिक बहुलता वाले इस देश में गर्भपात के संबंध में पूरे यूरोप के मुकाबले सबसे कड़े प्रतिबंध हैं। यहां गर्भपात की अनुमति दुर्लभ मामलों में तब दी जाती है जब महिला का जीवन खतरे में हो।
Referendum on hard laws on abortion in Ireland :-
The Prime Minister of Ireland and Leo Varadkar of Indian origin have said that the people of the country will decide through a referendum regarding the removal of constitutional restrictions on most of the methods and abortions of abortion. Varadkar had convened a special meeting of Cabinet to discuss the referendum on the eighth Amendment in the Constitution of Ireland. After the meeting, he gave the above information. The Prime Minister said that the voters will be asked that they want to uphold the amendment, or want to withdraw it, or they want to give full authority to the legislation on abortion to give it to the Parliament. In the revision of 1983, a mother has been given equal rights to live and a child born in the womb. In this country of Roman Catholicism, there is strict restriction against abortion in whole of Europe. Here abortion allowance is allowed in rare cases when the woman’s life is in danger.
2.एफबीआई के उपनिदेशक मैक्काबे ने इस्तीफा दिया :-
संघीय जांच ब्यूरो (एफबीआई) के उपनिदेशक ऐंड्रयू मैक्काबे ने इस्तीफा दे दिया। मैक्काबे का इस्तीफा ऐसे समय में आया है, जब कयास लगाए जा रहे थे कि ट्रंप उन्हें पद से हटाना चाहते हैं। मैक्काबे मार्च के मध्य में आधिकारिक रूप से सेवानिवृत्त होने जा रहे थे। वह सेवानिवृत्त होने तक सभी लाभों के साथ एफबीआई से वेतन प्राप्त करने के हकदार रहेंगे। व्हाइट हाउस की प्रेस सचिव साराह हकाबी सैंडर्स ने कहा कि यह व्हाइट हाउस का फैसला नहीं है। राष्ट्रपति की इस फैसले में कोई भूमिका नहीं है। ट्रंप द्वारा एफबीआई प्रमुख जेम्स कॉमे को बर्खास्त किए जाने के बाद मई 2016 में मैक्काबे एफबीआई के कार्यवाहक निदेशक बने थे।
FBI Deputy Director Maccabee resigns :-
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Director Andrew McCabe resigned. McCabe’s resignation came at a time when the speculation was being made that Trump wants to remove him from the post. Maccaban was going to be officially retired in mid-March. He will be entitled to receive salaries from the FBI with all the benefits till he retires. White House Press Secretary Sarah Hakabi Sanders said that this is not the White House decision. There is no role in the President’s decision. In May 2016 Maccaban became the acting director of the FBI after Trump sacked FBI chief James Comay.
3.रविवार की मुफ्त कॉलिंग सेवा बंद कर रहा बीएसएनएल :-
सरकारी दूरसंचार कंपनी भारत संचार निगम लिमिटेड (बीएसएनएल) ने अपने लैंडलाइन उपभोक्ताओं को रविवार को मिलने वाली मुफ्त कॉलिंग सुविधा एक फरवरी से खत्म करने का फैसला किया है। बीएसएनएल की इकाई कलकत्ता टेलीफोन्स (कालटेल) के मुख्य महाप्रबंधक एसपी त्रिपाठी ने कहा कि बीएसएनएल रविवार को मुफ्त कॉलिंग लाभ को एक फरवरी से वापस लेने जा रही है। यह फैसला पूरे देश भर में लागू होगा। बीएसएनएल ने इस फैसले से ठीक पहले रात में मुफ्त कॉल सेवा में कुछ कटौती करने का फैसला किया था। उल्लेखनीय है कि बीएसएनएल ने 21 अगस्त 2016 को मुफ्त रात्रि कॉलिंग और रविवार को मुफ्त कॉलिंग सेवा की शुरुआत की थी।
BSNL shutting down free calling services on Sunday :-
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-run telecom company, has decided to end the free calling facility on Sunday for its landline consumers from February 1. SP Tripathi, Chief General Manager of BSNL’s unit, Calcutta Telephones (Cattle), said that BSNL is going to withdraw the free calling benefit on Sunday from February. This decision will be applicable throughout the country. BSNL had decided to cut some free calls in the night just before this decision. It is worth mentioning that BSNL started free night calling on 21st August 2016 and free calling service on Sunday.
4.पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के हवाई अड्डों के लिए 3400 करोड़ रूपया आवंटित :-
भारतीय विमान पत्तन प्राधिकरण ने पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के हवाई अड्डों में सुविधाओं के विकास के लिए लगभग तीन हजार चार सौ करोड़ रूपए की राशि आवंटित की है। प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष गुरूप्रसाद महापात्रा ने गुवहाटी में बताया कि नौ सौ चैंतीस करोड़ रूपए की परियोजनाएं पहले ही पूरी हो चुकी है और शेष कार्य अगले दो या तीन वर्षों में पूरा हो जायेगा।
Allocated 3400 crores for the Northeast Region airports :-
The Airports Authority of India has allocated an amount of about three thousand four hundred crores for the development of facilities in the airports of the North Eastern Region. The President of the Authority, Guruprasad Mohapatra told in Guwahati that the projects of nine hundred and thirty five rupees have already been completed and the remaining work will be completed in the next two or three years.
5.इस साल भी आर्थिक वृद्धि दर अच्छी रहेगी- सुरेश प्रभु :-
उद्योग एवं वाणिज्य मंत्री सुरेश प्रभु ने आगामी वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 में देश की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर अपेक्षा के अनुरूप बेहतर रहने का विश्वास व्यक्त किया है। श्री प्रभु ने देश की आर्थिक प्रगति पर संतोष जताया और कहा कि अर्थव्यवस्था के सभी मानकों पर बेहतर काम हो रहा है। सरकार को पूरा भरोसा है कि अर्थव्यवस्था की वृद्धि दर बेहतर रहेगी। उन्होंने ने कहा कि अर्थव्यवस्था के सभी मोर्चों पर सरकार के बेहतर प्रदर्शन के आधार पर आगामी वित्त वर्ष में भी बेहतर परिणाम अपेक्षित हैं।
Economic growth will be good this year too – Suresh Prabhu :-
Industry and Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu has expressed the confidence of the country’s economic growth rate to be better than expected in the coming fiscal year 2018-19. Shri Prabhu expressed satisfaction over the economic progress of the country and said that better work is being done on all the parameters of the economy. The Government has full confidence that the economy will grow better. He said that better results are expected in the coming financial year on the basis of better performance of government on all fronts of economy.
6.सेबी ने केन इन्फ्रा के निदेशकों पर लगाया एक करोड़ रुपए का जुर्माना :-
भारतीय प्रतिभूति एवं विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) ने गैरकानूनी तरीके धन जुटाने की योजनाओं के जरिए निवेशकों को धोखा देने के लिए केन इन्फ्राटेक और उसके निदेशकों पर एक करोड़ रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया है। कंपनी ने प्लॉटों के कथित रखरखाव और विकास के लिए निवेशकों से धन जुटाया था। नियामक ने अपने आदेश में कहा कि कंपनी ने जनता से सामूहिक निवेश योजनाओं के जरिए निवेश अनुबंधों से धन जुटाया है। हालांकि कंपनी के पास सेबी का पंजीकरण नहीं था। नियामक ने केन इन्फ्राटेक लिमिटेड और उसके निदेशक सुखविदर सिह, कुलदीप सिह, गुरविदर सिह, सुखचैन सिह और महावीर सिह पर संयुक्त रूप से एक करोड़ रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया है।
SEBI fined Rs 1 crore imposed on Ken Infra directors :-
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has imposed a fine of Rs. 1 crore on Ken Infratech and its directors for fraudulent investors through fraudulent schemes. The company raised funds from investors for alleged maintenance and development of plots. The regulator said in its order that the company has raised money from the public through investment contracts through collective investment schemes. However, the company did not have Sebi registration. The regulator has imposed a fine of Rs 1 crore on Ken Infratech Limited and its director Sukhwinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Sukhchain Singh and Mahavir Singh.
7.ऑस्ट्रेलिया के 8 शहरों में खेले जाएंगे टी-20 विश्व कप के मैच, मेलबर्न में होगा फाइनल मुकाबला :-
वर्ष 2020 में होने वाले आईसीसी टी-20 विश्व कप की मेजबानी ऑस्ट्रेलिया करेगा और पर्थ, एडिलेड, होबार्ट, गिलोंग, कैनबरा, सिडनी, एडिलेड और मेलबर्न में इस प्रतियोगिता के मैच खेले जाएंगे। फाइनल मुकाबला मेलबर्न क्रिकेट ग्राउंड पर होगा। 18 अक्टूबर से इस टूर्नामेंट की शुरुआत होगी और 15 नवंबर को मेलबर्न में फाइनल मुकाबला खेला जाएगा। वहीं महिला टी-20 विश्व कप का फाइनल मैच भी मेलबर्न में खेला जाएगा। हालांकि महिला टी-20 विश्व कप 21 फरवरी से 8 मार्च के बीच खेला जाएगा और फाइनल मुकाबला 8 मार्च को विश्व महिला दिवस पर होगा। इसके सात महीने बाद पुरुषों का टी-20 विश्व कप आयोजित किया जाएगा।
T-20 World Cup matches to be played in 8 cities in Australia, Melbourne will be the final match :-
Australia will host the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in 2020, and the matches of this competition will be played in Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Gilong, Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. The final match will be on the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The tournament will commence on October 18 and the final match will be played in Melbourne on November 15. Women’s T-20 World Cup final match will also be played in Melbourne. However, the women’s T20 World Cup will be played from February 21 to March 8 and the final match will be on World Women’s Day on March 8. Men’s T-20 World Cup will be organized after seven months.
8.प्रधानमंत्री राजधानी में ‘खेलो इंडिया’ कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ करेंगे :-
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 31 जनवरी, 2018 को नई दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी स्टेडियम में स्कूली खेलों के प्रथम ‘खेलो इंडिया’ कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ करेंगे।
‘खेलो इंडिया’ कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य जमीनी स्तर पर खेल संस्कृति को पुनर्जीवित करना है। इसके लिए देश में खेले जाने वाले सभी खेलों के लिए एक मजबूत संरचना का निर्माण किया जाएगा ताकि भारत खेलों में एक अग्रणी राष्ट्र के रूप में स्थापित हो सके। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के विजन को ध्यान में रखते हुए ‘खेलो इंडिया’ स्कूलों में युवा खेल प्रतिभाओं की पहचान करेगा और उन्हें भविष्य के चैम्पियन के रूप में विकसित करने में सहायता प्रदान करेगा।
Prime Minister to launch Khelo India School Games in the Capital :-
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch the first Khelo India School Games at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on January 31, 2018.
The Khelo India programme has been introduced to revive the sports culture in India at the grass-root level by building a strong framework for all sports played in our country and establishing India as a great sporting nation. In keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, Khelo India is expected to help scout young talent from the schools in various disciplines and groom them as future sports champions.
Talented players identified in priority sports disciplines at various levels by a High-Powered Committee will be provided annual financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh per annum for 8 years.
9.नीति आयोग के सदस्य डॉ. विनोद पॉल को विश्वस्तरीय सम्मान, विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने प्रतिष्ठित इहसान डॉगरामाकी फैमिली हेल्थ फाउंडेशन पुरस्कार प्रदान किया :-
नीति आयोग के सदस्य डॉ. विनोद पॉल को विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) ने प्रतिष्ठित इहसान डॉगरामाकी फैमिली हेल्थ फाउंडेशन पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया है। यह सम्मान प्राप्त करने वाले वे पहले भारतीय हैं। परिवार स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में उनकी सेवाओं के लिए यह पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया है।
डब्ल्यूएचओ के कार्यकारी बोर्ड ने 27 जनवरी को इस पुरस्कार की घोषणा की। यह पुरस्कार डॉ. पाल को मई, 2018 को जेनेवा, स्विट्जरलैंड में आयोजित विश्व स्वास्थ्य सम्मेलन कार्यक्रम के दौरान दिया जाएगा। अंतिम रूप से चयनित छह देशों- अल्जीरिया, चीन मलेशिया, मैक्सिको, रूस गणराज्य, उजबेकिस्तान- के प्रतिनिधियों में से डॉ. पॉल के नाम पर एकमत से सहमति दी गई।
World Council of Ministers, Dr. Vinod Paul, a member of Policy Commission, presented the prestigious Ihsan Dogramachi Family Health Foundation Award :-
The World Health Organization (WHO) has awarded the prestigious Ihsan Dogramachi Family Health Foundation Award to Dr. Vinod Paul, Member of the Policy Commission. He is the first Indian to receive this honor. This award has been given for their services in the field of family health.
The Executive Board of WHO announced on January 27 this award. This award will be given during the World Health Conference program held in Geneva, Switzerland on May, 2018, to Dr. Pal. The unanimous agreement was agreed on the name of Dr. Paul from the representatives of the six selected countries – Algeria, China, Malaysia, Mexico, Republic of Russia, Uzbekistan.
10.श्री मनोज सिन्हा ने डाकियों/ एमटीएस के लिए नई वर्दी लांच की :-
डाक विभाग ने राष्ट्रीय फैशन टेक्नोलॉजी संस्थान (एनआईएफटी) के परामर्श से डाकियों (पुरुष एवं महिला दोनों ही) एवं एमटीएस संवर्ग की वर्दी फिर से डिजाइन की है। इस वर्दी की फिर से डिजाइन इसकी कार्यक्षमता, आराम एवं स्थायित्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए की गई है।
डाक विभाग को अपने फील्ड के कार्यों, जोकि डाकियों द्वारा अंजाम दिया जाता है, के द्वारा विश्वसनीयता एवं सम्मान प्राप्त होता है। वह विभाग का चेहरा होता है क्योंकि वह प्रत्येक दरवाजे पर जाकर पत्र एवं पार्सल की प्रदायगी करता है। इसलिए, यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि जो वर्दी वह पहनता है, जिसके द्वारा उसकी पहचान विभाग से जुड़ती है, वह ऐसी होनी चाहिए कि वह विशिष्ट दिखे। खादी हमारी संस्कृति का हिस्सा है और देश के सभी क्षेत्रों के लिए आरामदायक है, इसलिए इसे डाकियों की वर्दी के लिए उपयुक्त पाया गया।
Mr. Manoj Sinha launches new uniform for postmen / MTS :-
Post department has redesigned the uniforms of both the postmen (both male and female) and MTS cadres in consultation with the National Fashion Technology Institute (NIFT). This uniform has been redesigned in view of its functionality, comfort and stability.
The postal department gets credibility and respect by the work of the field, which is executed by postmen. She is the face of the department because she goes to every door and offers a letter and parcel. Therefore, it is important that the uniform that he wears, by which his identity joins the department, it should be such that he looks special. Khadi is a part of our culture and is comfortable for all areas of the country, so it was found suitable for uniform of postman.
