1.Former President Dr. A.P.J. Tribute to nation on the birth anniversary of Abdul Kalam

Former President Dr. A.P.J. On the birth anniversary of Abdul Kalam today, many programs have been organized across the country. President Ramnath Kovind has said that the country will always remember the contribution of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to nation building. At the function held on 86th birth anniversary of Dr. Kalam in Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, the President said that the idea of Dr. Kalam will continue to inspire future generations of the country.

The President received the Kalam Message Corps bus after the dissemination of messages in sixteen states about the views of Dr. Kalam. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tribute to Dr. Kalam in a tweet message saying that his personality will continue to inspire millions.

 

2.Sunil Jakhar of Congress won Gurdas Pur Lok Sabha seat

In Punjab, Congress candidate Sunil Jakhar has won the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha by-election. He defeated his nearest rival Bharatiya Janata Party’s Golden Salariya with one lakh 93 thousand hundred and hundred votes. 3.Himachal Pradesh minister Anil Sharma and his father former union minister Sukhram were included in the BJP before the state assembly elections.

Meanwhile , the top leaders of the party including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, chairman of the Bharatiya Janata Party, met Saturday night to decide the names of candidates for the state assembly elections. Polling for 68 Assembly seats will be held on 9th November. A BJP leader told that the party’s Central Election Committee met for two hours. He said that today’s list of candidates can be declared. Nomination letters can be filled from tomorrow to 23 October

Assam , the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started training the teachers of affiliated schools to make them aware of the dangers of online addiction addiction to the students. Guidelines for safe and effective use of internet and digital technology in schools and school buses have been issued to all schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education all over the country. CBSE has advised that schools should not only educate teachers about Internet safety norms but also set up digital surveillance systems so as to track the online activities of the students.

National Company Law Tribunal has approved the withdrawal of the proposal for the merger deal of Reliance Communications (RCom) and Aircel. RCOM has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Saturday. The company said , ” Mumbai bench of NCLT has approved the withdrawal of arrangements between Reliance Telecom Limited , Aircel Limited , Dishnet Wireless Limited , Deccan Digital Networks Private Limited , South Asia Communications Pvt Ltd , in order of October 13 . ‘In this order, Reliance Infratel’s tower business was also approved to withdraw the merger proposal with Towercom Infrastructure. At RCom there is a loan of about 46 thousand crores now. The company had announced the termination of merger with Aircel, citing legal and regulatory delays and other reasons. The company also told the high level of competition for this reason. The company said that unlimited free voice calling and cheap rates have ended profits in 2G and 3G businesses. With the merger, RCom’s debt reduced to about Rs 20,000 crore and Aircel’s debt would be about Rs 4,000 crore.
