1.United Nations Security Council banned North Korea’s four sea ships from coming to international ports :-

The United Nations Security Council has banned North Korea’s four marine vessels to come to international ports, which are suspected of carrying restricted goods. Diplomats said that the US had demanded a ban on these ships. In response to North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs, the UN Security Council has imposed a number of restrictions on which some of the goods are also prohibited. China has also agreed to ban only four marine vessels. A diplomat said that in future, other four ships besides these four can also be brought under the purview of the ban.

 

2.Explosive terrorist acts in St. Petersburg – Vladimir Putin  :-

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin termed the blast in the St. Petersburg Super Market as a  ” terrorist act “, in  which  13 people were injured.

Given the severity of the situation, the investigation of this case is being done by Russia’s National Anti-Terror Committee.

It is significant that in April this year, 15  people were killed and dozens injured in the suicide bomb attack in St. Petersburg Metro  . A group linked to Al Qaeda was responsible for that attack.

 

3.Ugandan army claimed to kill more than 100 rebels :-

Uganda’s army claimed to kill more than 100 rebels in an action in the Democratic Republic of the East Democratic Republic of the Congo. These rebels belonged to Ugandan Allied Democratic Forces. These rebels had killed 14 peacekeepers of the United Nations earlier this month . This was the most deadly attack on the UN army during the last 24 years.

 

4.Sensex up 164 points, rupee recovers 17 paise against dollar :-

The Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange crossed the 34,000 mark with a gain of 154 points on Friday afternoon. Shortly before, it was at 34 thousand 32 with an increase of 194 points. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also rose by 45 points to 10 thousand 523.

Rupee’s value increased by 16 paise against the dollar in the inter-bank foreign exchange market. A dollar 64 rupee 13 money was spoken.

 

5.Lok Sabha passes GST related compensation amendment bill :-

The Lok Sabha passed the Compensation Amendment Bill-2013 relating to the GST to the states.

This law will replace the Ordinance issued in September this year. In this bill, there is a provision to permit Central Government to issue notification of rates of GST compensation sub-tax on paan masala ,  coal ,  gas-mixed drinks and tobacco-related items.

 

6.Analyst for vehicle policy, will remain on clean technology: Anant Geete :-

Union Heavy Industries Minister and Public Sector Undertaking Minister Anant Geete said that the government has taken the services of an advisor to prepare the vehicle policy. This policy includes technology like electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell technology.

September ,  2015, the government has to reach Rs 18.89 lakh crore in the production area under the declaration of 2016-2026 Automotive Mission Plan (AMP) with Siam Organization of Automobile Manufacturers of Thykiske Rs 4.64 lakh crore target that the vehicle Industry can be among the world’s top markets in the next decade.

 

7.Milk production in India reached 163.7 million tonnes in 2016-17 :-

In the 1960s, it produced about 17-22 million tons of milk ,  it has increased to 163.7 million tonnes in 2016-17.

Central Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh has said that India has reached the world where milk prospects are emerging on the global level with many opportunities emerging for the emerging markets. The Union Agriculture Minister said this in a meeting of the committee constituted for consulting on dairy development organized in New Delhi.

An ambitious scheme has been started from 2017-18 for the purpose of doubling the income of the milk farmer and to further the efforts of the white Revolution. This scheme is being implemented by the NDB (National Dairy Development Board) through the state government through cooperative milking organizations / milk federations of the concerned state. 

 

8.Viswanathan Anand defeats Magnus Carlsen in World Rapid Chess Championship :-

Viswanathan Anand has defeated World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen in the World Rapid Chase Championship being played in Riyadh. Magnus Carlsen defeated Anand in 2013 and took the number one crown.  

The  fight  between Anand and Carlson runs up to 34  moves . Prior to Carlson, Anand played the draw with Vladimir Fadesov of Russia.

 

9.Congress told PM Modi’s Rajasthan visit violation of election code of conduct :-

Congress has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a two-day visit to Rajasthan’s two parliamentary seats and the announcement of a by-election for a single assembly seat. The Congress has given it a memorandum to the chief election officer, considering the violation of the code of conduct.

 

10.Shilpa Shinde got ticket to Finale in Bigg Boss 11 :-

Big Boss 11 is now very close to Finale. Participants of the house have crossed the Big Boss’s Tuff Task and made their own place, but which participants are going to participate in the finale. Now this news was not confirmed, but if the sources say that the name of one participant has been finalized and that name is none other than Shilpa Shinde.
