1.Two years after the expenditure of Rs 26 lakh crore, the general budget will be increased in the defense sector :-
Even though the pace of growth is not booming yet the government will not bother to spend. The government will continue to increase the public spending for the economy.
The Finance Ministry estimates that the total expenditure of the government in the financial year 2019-20 ie the general budget will be around Rs. 26 lakh crore.
The special thing is that allocation of defense sector will be good in this general budget, because in the next two years the defense expenditure will increase by 22% in the defense sector.
2.ICICI Bank’s new plan: before shipping credit card shopping :-
In the festive season, ICICI Bank has introduced its customers with tremendous shopping opportunities.
The bank has introduced a credit card that customers can shop before they reach home. This credit card has been given an instant credit card.
According to the information, the bank has informed the media that the customers can take this credit card by applying online.
Customers will be given a credit card number immediately, so that they can avail of online offers in e-commerce websites. Customers can take advantage of online shopping immediately after this card.
3.Jet Airways lowered Base Fare, reduced prices by 30 percent :-
Jet Airways has offered a discount in rental under Special Cell Scheme on Independence Anniversary. Under this, the airline has reduced the business class base fares up to 20 percent.
The company has announced reductions of 30 percent in base class base fares. Bookings for tickets for special offers for six days have started from midnight on Thursday.
Jet Airways has said in a statement that special six days concessional ticket scheme has been started on the occasion of 70th anniversary of the country’s independence. Under this, ticket sales are starting from August 11, 2017.
4.Former wicketkeeper Brad Haddin becomes Australia’s new fielding coach :-
Australia’s wicket-keeper batsman Brad Haddin has got the chance to serve the country.
Haddin has been appointed the new coach of the team team instead of current fielding coach Greg Blaft. They will be seen to play their new responsibility from Australia’s next Bangladesh tour.
Brad Haddin has played the role of regular wicketkeeper in the team since Adam Gilchrist retired. Haddin, who played 66 Tests and 126 ODIs for Australia, will end in late 2019.
5.Sundar Pichai’s meeting with Google employees :-
Google’s Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai has canceled the proposed meeting with the staff. This decision has been taken considering the possibility of personal attacks on employees. Pichai has reiterated the fact that there is a better environment for women in Google.
The company is at the center of the discussion since the removal of engineer James Demor, who criticized the increase in women participation in Google. Name of some employees associated with this incident has become public. Pichai proposed to hold a Town Hall (special meeting) with the staff to discuss the situation after the removal of Demor.
6.No time limit for connecting base with PAN: Jaitley :-
On Friday, the government clarified that no time limit has been fixed for linking the base with PAN.
Ram Charan Nishad in the Lok Sabha today questioned whether the government has set a deadline for connecting the base with Pan? In his written reply, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that no, no, no.
7.Independence Day 2017: Country’s smallest tricolor made in Rajasthan :-
Before the 71st Independence Day of the country’s independence, Golden craftsman Iqbal Sakka has made the world’s smallest national flag in Rajasthan.
It is being told that it is too small that the thinest needle in the world can also emerge from the small hole. This flag is made of gold.
Earlier, in Canada, a student made the smallest national flag. Sakka has claimed that it is even smaller than that. The size of this tricolor is just 0.5 mM.
8.NITI Aayog partners with 6 states to transform Health & Education sectors :-
